I know that a PC is on a work trip, IIRC, and I afraid of getting too far ahead while they were gone. Hopefully he doesn't get lost while I advance the plot.

The group, prepares to be teleported to some random place in the timeline. You all step through the portal provided by the time keeper. You are greeted by fresh air and a town.

You look around, and after a few moments, you realize that you are in Sothis, the major port city in Osirion. The air is crisp, and the sun is warm on your skin. Bird fly overhead, and you are all relieved to off the accursed island you were once on.

People are taken aback by your presence at first, but then all go back to their daily hustle and bustle as you figure to be some sort of wizards or travelers.

You are free to explore as you see fit. I am unsure what Wulfgar had on him, in terms of random gear/goods. Let us say that the group would get 12,000 gp in coin after selling everything to be able to upgrade their gear as they see fit.

He makes his way around town asking random folks about the Trine group..


You ask around for The Trine, and everyone points you to the religious district of the city. You head there, and you see temples to various gods. Most are Anciet Osirion, including; Anubis, Ptah, Ra.

At the very end, and what they call a temple, but is more like a 3 room shack, is a building. There is a symbol, etched into a sturdy board.

You head inside, and the inside is slightly better then the exterior. You see a group of four, 2 males and 2 females sitting around a table, sharing an ale, while going over some paperwork.

One of the men stand up as you enter, and gives you a stern look.

Look, if you guys are here to mock our religion, or our beliefs then you can turn around and walk the hell back out!

Your group of three faces off against the four of them in a free for all sparring match. The fight is pretty even as your skill is slightly better than the numbers they have. After 30 or so seconds your skill improves. You hit better, sometime harder. Your spells are slightly more potent. You are unsure if it was the water you drank or traveling through time, but the three of you fell stronger overall.

They call the match and seem you the winners. After a few ales in celebration, you all disband and head to bed. After a full night sleep, you feel different when you wake. This time you feel as if a strange metamorphosis has taken place while you slept hard for the first time in ages.

You seem to move faster, hit harder, swing smarter. You all notice the brand placed on you glows a pale blue, but fades just as quickly. You head towards the "temple" of Teine to get started with work trying to prepare for what the refer to as "Doomsday".

The woman looks at you, and gives you a warm smile.

I trust you all slept well. So, first order of business is to convince others to join. I know that is not really up your strength, so instead I want to utilize what you good at. I have connection in various cities across Golarion. I want you to travel and convince others to join our cause. Do it by showing them strength in numbers, show them that as a group anything is possible. The first city will be Eto. Find Ezo and tell him I sent you. He will tell you how to gain him and the others trust and allegiance.

Yes, Eto has a trade route that bridges us in Sothis and Shiman-Sekh. The increased trade has increased the wealth for all involved. You be able to resupply in Eto from the harsh desert travel. Supply up here with whatever you think will help battle the desert heat. Please leave as soon as you are ready, for time is of the essence in the long term.

You can buy whatever you need as the city of Sothis is quite large. If there is something really weird or obscure let me know and I will give you a final verdict

That reminds me, there is a caravan leaving tomorrow night if you wish to join up with them. That way you won't get lost on your way there, and traveling in groups always help the passage of time a little more bearable I feel.

"I'm a fan of safety in numbers, and it's been a bit lonely with just us on that damned island. We'll go with the caravan. "


Your group decides that safety in numbers cannot be a bad thing. You find out the caravan leaves at dusk, to help reduce the wear of the sun on your back. You prepare for the journey ahead, it will take about 2 weeks to get there.

You join the caravan ranks an hour before dusk, and you see a short fat goblin atop as the driver with a trio of Oreads. The Oreads show now emotion, as they appear to be all about business. The goblin smiles at you as you appraoch.

So, you must be the three names I saw added to my list of guards that I failed to recognize. My name is Sagz, if there is something important speak quickly, best to get on the road as quick as possible. We travel during the night and sleep during the day, no sense it gettign heat stroke right?

Unless stopped for a pressing matter, Sagz gets the camels going down the road. The Oreads are all dressed in chain shirts, with small shields strapped to their arm. They carry a few weapons, but one that sticks out on your mind is the halbred one carries.

The Oreads don't converse much, as they keep a vigilant eye for any trouble, but will not be rude and ignore in conversation directed towards them.

A week goes by smoothly, and other than a few dry throat moments, nothing happens. Day 9 however is different story.

The day night goes by well, until about 4 hours into the night, with the moon at the highest point in the sky, you hear what sounds like hyenas yelping in the night. The sound isn't too surprising, except the sounds seem to be getting closer, and then Balthe and Nils, you hear the sand around you start to shift and a small "avalanche" happens and Sagz makes the caravan stop to a halt.

The Oreads unsure what is happening, draw weapons and ready to attack if anything is foolish enough to attack their caravan.


I did the surprise round wrong, it should be the following :) Since not everyone noticed my Gnolls, only a few people can act in the surprise round, but that IS the correct order for when round one begins

Balthe, rushes over the sand, and easily trips the gnoll nearest him. As it goes crashing to the sand below, Balthe follows up by stomping on its face. As Bathe removes his foot, he can see the gnoll snarling at him, and quite angry by the foot stomp.
