A search of the alcove turn up a scroll of levitate (to bring the dead closer to their afterlife), a scroll of bless (to bless the deceased} and an elixir of fire breathing (to ward off any evil spirits).

Wulfgar grabs Balthes thigh with his frying pan sized hands, and squeezing the leg hard enough that Balthe almost passes out from the pain, the Northerner bellows the name of his god Gorum! and the pain subsides.
