I will be unable to post from 12/23 evening to 12/28 afternoon inclusive. Sunday / Monday at the hospital (part time job). Christmas Day is with friends all day, and the next three days are driving to Boston MA (4 hours) and spending it with my wife's brother and his wife. I will not have my laptop, so I do not have my PDFs, notes, macros, etc. with me.
I will be visiting with family from 12/23 to New Year's Day so my posting will be sporadic at best.

Anything I ought to avoid. I see you’ve got a lot of multiclassing going on. I’m thinking then to maybe just go straight fighter, and be as beast as possible at taking things down. I won’t be much use in non-combat and skill based encounters, except as comic relief, but if that works for you guys, I’ll make it happen.
So, I leaned on in and drafted him up. Stats in the profile. I’ve no idea who he is, background, or how he got here.

I've been blessed with Torag's Edge, so no need for the greatsword. I could use the +1 half plate, if nobody else can. I don't want to be the new dwarf that takes all of the great loot.
I have somewhat better armor, so no need for the half-plate. If no one else needs it, take it....

I see Greta had a wand of cure light wounds but did not list the charges remaining. Any idea how many are left and if Kurag could borrow that for about 32pt of healing?
Also on a side note was thinking about ranger trap at 7th level for a feat. Now I might take skill focus perception to help with trapfinding and other perception checks. Either that or need eyes of the eagle for that impressive +5
Ok to use the wand to heal. Can't remember how many charges either.
I asked in my others games if anyone is interested in playing a healer. If anyone wants to also ask in their other games, feel free.

Hello everyone! I've been recruited to help with the healing aspect of your group. I'm currently working on a cleric of Dranngvit, the dwarven goddess of debt, vengeance and pursuit. Are there any skills that the party lacks that would useful for me to take? Even though I only get two per level, I want to make them count!
I look forward to adventuring with everyone and I am excited to take part in this AP!
Are we doing item creation? Even if it's just Arms and Armor, that can be a huge force multiplier for a group.
I agree with B.B. I think the most glaring void we have is a face if thinking about skills. Then again who needs a face if all we do is run into giants and orcs. Just shoot them in the face till ours are the only ones left standing.
Do what thematically fits your character though and have fun with it.

Random off topic gaming geek thing: So, if you've never watched "The Expanse," you're missing out. First of all, it's excellent Sci Fi, and as my pedigree for watching Sci Fi goes back to watching Star Wars on screen in 1977, I've watched some good (and terrible) Sci Fi. Ok, so the TV series (3 seasons so far, and season 4 is coming) is based on a series of books. Naturally there are differences between the shows and the books, these things happen.
Ok, here's the gamer geek part! What a lot of people don't realize, is that the books are based on the authors' home Sci Fi RPG. So, it's a little funny that a home RPG game turned into a series of books, and then a TV series, and then an actual RPG. Oh, and I've RPG'd since 1978, so I've been around that block too.
Now the really funny part, to me at least. While reading book 3, there's a scene where the characters, whom I view as "the PCs" are about to go into the final fight against the BBEG and the minions, etc. One of the PCs turns to the other (in the book, but I don't think I recall it from the show) and asks, "so if you die, can I have your stuff?" I nearly spit out my drink at that point. How many times have I heard that line, and ones nearly identical to it come out at a gaming table? And to have it copied right from, I'm sure, their gaming table into the book was priceless.
Anyways, enough off-topic geek speak from me!

My laptop died 5 minutes ago, will not power on. On phon. Will be unavailable till at least Monday, maybe lomger.
Ok, I have managed to get my laptop to power on and work, however it is held together with spit and bailing wire. Did a complete full disk back up and will do one each day so I don't loose anything. I also ordered a new one which will be delivered between 2 July and 9 July.
I'll be bringing the current one to the camper, hoping that it survives the trip. If it doesn't, I'll post using my phone to let you know that I will be unavailable.

Well, my new laptop came Friday, 5 July. It took me most all weekend to install software, move everything over and get it ready for use. It is really slick and the graphics are great. Having a SSD drive instead of a SATA drive really speeds stuff up, so I am a happy camper.
Good to here...now on to fort reclamationand giant killing!
It being summer, it's time for the family and me to head off for a week of vacation. Be back next Saturday!

My daughter is bringing our seven year old grand daughter to the camper in about 15 minutes and we are taking care of her for the next 13 days while our daughter and son-in-law take off for Europe (Paris, Belgium, Amsterdam) on an adult vacation.
