GiantSlayer Book 3: Forge of the Giant God
Part 3: Cathedral of minderhal
The heroes must infiltrate the ruined temple of an ancient giant god and defeat the Storm Tyrant’s lieutenant to prevent the warlord from gathering an even larger army. Within the cathedral, the adventurers also discover a powerful artifact that they must reactivate before they can make use of its magic.
Welcome back David! They just finished the last room and will soon be leaving the vault. When they leave, they will find you with Ingrahild Nargrymkin. Her and her brother were exploring this area when they fought a coven. They were hexed with insanity and her brother was carried off to Redlake Fort by orcs.
You can either be from the group's hometown and have come to join them - Maybe by a suggestion from Gnok. Our maybe you were sent by your deity after a mad Ingrahild besseched them - or whatever hook you want to create.
At any rate, Sergei will feel an overwhelming need to compete another quest and leave Agrimmosh and the armor - I think he had the armor -behind.

As a ranger I will be able to use the scroll of barkskin, nature's ally IV, and wand of magic fang greater. I would really like the arrows though. Anyone want the arrows or should I add them and the scrollsand wand to my character sheet. The rest of the items don't interest me at all.
I've picked up a new rage power - guarded life. Otherwise, it's Barbarian 6, took an additional rage round as my preferred class bonus, and am currently figuring out how to get the new axe fully started up in HeroLab.
Bormann, you'll need to add a custom masterwork/magic weapon in HeroLab. Then you choose the base weapon and its enchantment bonus.
Oh, I did. +1 keen greataxe is easy - it's the rest that's harder. Plus, HeroLab also usually has unique stuff from the APs... and in this case it does, albeit GM-reskinned for our current mix (thanks for that!).
I have gone into the data packs to edit some stuff directly in the past - I may do so again, particularly to customize the text and incorporate the potential for the free trip attempt.

Just realized we never posted Lucky’s stats as a animal companion. Will do,that shortly as I think his stealth is higher now with skill points invested in it.

Didn’t we get a map of the fort with a secret sewer entrance by the way! Does Kurag see anything that looks like that would be a way in to thenfort to rile up the orcs and ogres?
Apologies for being away a bit lately. Campground wifi has been extremely lousy, also end of season camper cleanup chores (October 8 is last day), and also I have spent entirely too much time with the new Pathfinder: Kingmaker CRPG since it came out.
It is camper closing weekend. Last day is Monday October 8th, Columbus Day. We will be extremely busy closing up and bring things home and unpacking when there, so the next post will be Tuesday.
Now that camping season is over and wife and I are home for the winter, I will try to post at least once per day on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and once over the three day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday).

Ok guys I am thinking that with the potion of invisibility and Kurag's stealth that he has a really good chance of sneaking in, finding this half-orc and making it out again. Problem is with a pbp I don't want this to take forever with you waiting for me.
2nd idea I had was to sneak close to K1 and open the door letting you all in. We take care of the guys in there and now have hopefully a place that is defensible inside the first barricade.
Third idea is to use the back entrance that we were told about and sneak in that way.
Fourth idea was to knock a hole in a barricade and then break the dam and flood the whole place.
Recon would be very useful to give us a layout of the land. Given the size and the stealth of the party I think getting you to K1 is the best idea. That way we have a "home base" of sorts.
No matter how stealthy you are, a single guard dog who smells you will raise plenty of alarm.
Well, everything went quite well with the cataract surgery Wednesday, and at my first followup appointment Thursday, the doc said I can drive and go back to my computer, so I'm back!
One thing I have noticed, besides the corrected vision in the right eye, is like an old laundry detergent commercial; where whites are whiter and brights are brighter....
There is a significant difference between the two eyes now in how I perceive white and colors.
