Backstory:
Calm down. thump Let it go. whack Take a deep breath. thunk

Those words had been spoken at Khari even since she was born. Born Khari Pyresky, she was the eldest of eight children and had been gifted from an early age to be blessed by the divine. Of her sibilings, Khari was closest to her youngest sister, Lina whom she practically raised as her own daughter. As is custom, Khari was sent often to the clerics of Folgrit to help with her temper and learn her expected place in Dwarven society. She would often sit with the other girls of the hamlet, studying how to be a good mother and a better wife. In defiance of her lessons, Khari's temper and propensity to hold a grudge would constantly put her at odds with her teachers. Despite her mother's best efforts to make her eldest blessed by Folgrit, it was not to be.

As she grew older, Khari did her best to put what she learned into practice and it helped. She married Zelindolf, raised three daughters and a son and was content. Then the thrice-damned dragon attacked. They barely had a chance to sound the alarm, before the beast was upon the small hamlet. Pushing her children under the floorboards of her home, Khari was prepared to die, however fate is unkind. Blasts of artic air cut through the town, and a wall of ice taller than most homes bisected the hamlet in half. As quickly as the attack came, it ended. Pulling her children from safety, Khari took them in search of her husband. Thankfully she found him alive. The rest of her family was not so lucky. Frozen in near the square, Khari found her father and Lina. It was said that Khari's scream of agony could be heard in Janderhoff.

She tasked herself with removing their bodies in order to have them prepared for burial. With each swing from her pick, Khari's grudge for the dragon grew smoldering like a fire set to a coal mine. When her grisly task was completed, she and her husband talked. It was no longer safe in their childhood home, they would have to move.

It took several years, but they eventually resettled in Janderhoff. Try as she might, the pain of the loss of her family still ate away at Khari. Finally when her youngest, Emerada, set off on her own, Khari spoke with Zelindolf about their future. While her husband had no interest in leaving Janderhoff to look for the dragon that had assaulted them, he agreed to wait for her to return. To this day Khari wears her wedding band proudly and a charm from her husband's beard around her neck as a promise to return to him.

Appearance:
Photo Standing at 4'2, Khari Dronwoth is approaching middle age, as shown by the increasing gray streaks appearing in her brown hair, along with the crows feet and laugh lines on her face. She keeps her hair pulled back in a practical, yet messy bun, along with a few pieces of jewelry braided in. She has green eyes.
