Been following along and noticed that you are currently missing an Arcane Caster now. Would you want me to rebuild into a caster gish to fill that hole for melee and magic?

I don't want to presume of course but I would like to extend that option for you all.

Doc. Evil’s call of course but if you wanted to come in as an arcane caster I would be down with that. But how about you slightly Retool Marcellano to your liking and play him. Makes for a easy fit. I did this in another game, taking over for a fighter, and it worked great.

I'd be fine with that - a well specced wizard (battlefield control?) and we can manage with Adolina as frontliner. She can skirmish between people well enough and once we combine with grease/Cadas summoning etc we'll be fine :)

I think that's a great idea! I would want you to play whatever character you would enjoy, whether that's a re-tooled Marcellano or someone completely different that we rescue from these caves. Liking the character you play is the essential starting point.

This would be the boss fight for Book 3 of this AP. YOu get Lucrecia added because your former GM had her run off last time so you haven't faced her already. Should make things more interesting.

So basically I still wanted to play the same character (and I feel it makes all of our lives kind of easier this way for getting GM Approval). I basically am still the same Iroran Monk-Based, Time themed character. I just moved the Mithral Spirit-Bonded armor and the +1 Buckler to a new Item (Monk's Robes), swapped the Charisma Band for an Intelligence band and funneled the rest of the gold into an Arcane Bonded Weapon (with enough leftover to get some spellbook spells for my upper levels).

The only things that may be issues are possibly the Prestigious Spellcaster feat because I know some people are a little uncertain about it; but I'm willing to swap it out for whatever.

I didn't bother making the spellbook until I got the go-ahead because its a lot of work and I need to get scribing costs and scrolling costs due to Prestige Classes not learning spellbook spells by default and frankly its a lot of work to do if it doesn't get approved.

It is a little less tanky and fighty than the previous build but does have near full Arcane casting which will provide us the utility we need (Walls, Pits, Teleportation) and Reveal Weakness to really put the hurt on a designated target.

I just realized I copied the wrong Stat spread when I built that so there is a mistake with the Attributes; the Con and Wis should both be a point lower each. Derp

First, back from travels and jet lagged but here. I got home after a 24 hour day of travel at around midnight and then had to get up to work today. Ugg.

I did a quick look at the character Avdol. I personally have no issue with the prestige class feats and have used them before myself in a home game. I am a little concerned how low your melee damage is, but then again its higher than the wizard you are replacing. lol. Same with AC I guess. Just do not get too confident and thing you can tank. :)

My one real concern is your skill point distribution. you have a 20 int but only two solid knowledge skill (and Spellcraft of course.)

Now we have to survive this fight so that you can join us.

All fair concerns. I'll swap Sense Motive for K: Planes (And move Favored Prestige to K:Arcana). As I get more Intelligence from higher Bands I'll pick more up.

For AC this doesn't take into account Images or Concealment or (Extended) Shield but ideally we can fight unfair fights with walls and pits. I'll be focusing a little more on AC as we continue. Controlled Bloodrage actually provides me with 2 AC as well due to the Dex increase.

Damage is easily fixed with Sense Vitals and other magic. I plan on grabbing Arcane Strike as well to shoot both main hand and off hand up by 3 apiece (I think if I run the numbers it's better than Piranha right now actually, I forgot to account for 50% offhand). The accuracy provided by Reveal Weakness will also help the rest of you as well. If I need to squeeze more damage out there is a Trait I can take as well but I really feel the Diplomacy fits the character. Two Weapon Fighting is definitely not ideal but I want that Monk feel as best as I can.

I'm trying to straddle the line as best as I can and fill out as much of the missing pieces as possible while still feeling close to my initial build.

I will definitely rework a little here and there once I get the green light.

Cadas intended to kill the laughing giant to get it out of the fight because she believes the fight could last longer than Robin's spell. I'd have liked to see how it played out as well. Cadas has a few standard action summons to help and distract and lots of healing channels, some of which can be done as move actions. She finally was able to cast her Righteous Might spell and with that new trident is the best fighter she has ever been.

I hoped the wall of force would at least cause the lamia matriarch to use her standard to get around it and maybe be even leave her stranded for a few rounds.

Adolina can mess with Barl and Lucretia pretty easily by bouncing in and out but keeping both in AOO range. She won't take Barl down fast but she can make him hurt.

I do like this super agile, single-strike build that Warrior Poet creates, but it does have some issues with damage since you can't stack Vital Strike and Spring Attack.

Doc Evil was a great GM when he had the time for it. But like a lot of us real life intercedes. He has dropped us twice now. I reluctantly agree that this game is likely dead. I would have loved to play it out to the end. Thanks everyone for a great run.

It's been great gaming with you all. And I appreciate Doc Evil for stepping in to after I talked him into doing so! Really sorry it didn't pan out. It was a good run while it lasted, and perhaps we'll find a way to play together once more.
