I'm going to make the reflex save and act as though the spell went off, but yeah I had the same question. Maybe because it was from her sword?
Her 20 hit, I said the 19 didn't confirm. But I was wrong and have corrected the numbers.
As for the spell, look I'll be honest. I'm having a rough time with home life and work, and I wasn't paying real close attention here. Let me go back and change up a few things.

I want to thank you guys for sticking with me on this 7-year journey. For months I had been dithering on whether to end after this book or not, and Jakscar's leaving was the deciding factor. We have just been through too many slowdowns and player changes, and I felt this particular game was being more of a drag than fun.
Please understand that I was rooting for you guys to win this one, and Angelica could have done it with help from Oriana, but the dice just weren't in your favor. Honestly, without Zaph's PfE spell, I think it would have been over long ago. 80% of Sorshen's spells are mind-affecting enchantments (not too surprising for the Runelord of Lust) and were unable to be cast while PfE was active. Also, that Silence spell at the beginning kept her from using her few offensive spells for half the combat. You guys fought hard, and didn't give up, and I really enjoyed that.
Thanks again for sticking with it for so long. I hope to see each of you across the table again in the future!

Agreed. Tough, tough battle, especially without a heavy damage dealer. A shame the game had to end with a TPK, but that's certainly one way to go out.
