Now that you're dotted in, you should see when there are new messages in Tyranius' game on your campaign tab.

Dennis does for insurance claims adjusting what Indiana Jones did for archaeology!
Preview:
BBEG: "You've got heart, kid. But that belongs in an appendix."
Quinoline Silicate, Ad Hoc Insurance Claims Adjuster: "It belongs in Box 12!"
BBEG: "Box 12 is empty. And so is the budget for non-qualified losses. Sorry, kid."
Quinoline: "I'm going to file an appeal! See you in 4 to 6 business days!"

Taking the first six players for 1-01 The Absalom Initiation!
Scenario Tags: Repeatable
Recruitment closed!

Now that Iruxi are legal, who wants to play at an all-Iruxi table?
I can put together a game of Absalom Initiation after I finish my current PbP (probably in about a week to a week and a half).
My pacing tends to be quick with multiple posts per day.
Sounds awesome, but can not commit to a fast paced table.

Can someone explain what this is? How is it different from a normal PbP game? Is it just that there are a bunch of games offered at once or is there something else that's different?

Greetings Esha,
This is one of our Online Conventions where several PbP games are all offered at once. We also end up running a couple of the Multi-Table Specials during this.
Being a larger convention there will be GM Race Boons, Player Boons as well as Paizo Gift Vouchers that will be distributed throughout.

Correct, August 12 is Player Signups. Right now is the time for GM's to register their games for all to see. August 12 will open Player signups to give all a chance to see the games and have the same opportunity to sign up for the games that they want.

Kind of hoping someone runs Fall of Plaguestone as part of the Gameday.
Wellll...
Would FoP be included as "Scenario Support"?
Does anyone think it can be run within the timeline? I post often, but getting a group to post often might be tougher...
Could I restrict the table to 4 PCs to speed up posting?
Aaaand, if I owed GMing a game to a certain Elf, one that maybe even requested this game to be run, could I reserve one of those 4 seats for them?

GM Blake |

I'm playing it now, and I doubt it could be run within the limit.
Let's say 4 players posting twice a day, 3 rounds per combat encounter, so far that would be 1.5 days per combat (ha!) if everyone synced up just right, less than half way through, you'd be at 13.5 days. Now add in all the investigation and talking to NPCs.

You certainly could, but I am not too sure it could get done in the specified time frame. On the other hand, I am more than willing to play in FOP outside of the Game Day.
Quick note: I have ran it twice already.

I have played it and GMed it. If you wanted to finish it in that time you would have to cut the "filler" encounters (which some areas have a lot of), which is certainly allowed by the campaign mode rules. You probably would also have to leave out all the optional side quests. The players would probably need to have all 4 levels planned out at the start so that there would not be a pause for leveling up.
It would still be cutting it pretty close

Interest check for Q1: The Sandstone Secret.
I haven't purchased the scenario yet, but wanted to see if there was interest. If there is, that thread will become the recruitment thread.

Mylow, roll4initiative, and Meadow, please check in.
I didn't realize Q1 was repeatable. I'm doing FCFS for the first table and if people continue expressing interest, I can continue with a second table later.

Now with GenCon wrapping up, time for more PbP
I am looking to run 1-15 Devil at the Crossroads (3-6)
Head over and sign up. If I get many people I will run a second table.

I was going to say you could run it within the time limit. But you would have to run it on discord, which updates posts in seconds and allows voice, and literally require all players to be on during a certain day or a 3-day weekend for 4-8 hours a day, thus running the game in real time. If people were required to be on Discord for more than one day for 4-8 hours a day, the issue would be getting enough players to sign up for it.

To be clear, the time requirements DoubleGold is giving here do not apply to all discord games by any means. Most of them run at a similar pace (but a bit faster) than Paizo play by post games. Playing real time is also an option but is not usually what people mean when they talk about PbD.

What Caps said, very few games on Discord are live.
On another note, I am going to be running a few live games on discord for gameday, with notes in the method of recruitment showing the time and day. The plan is to run them after 8:00 pm Eastern time, that way it will be after 5:00 pm anywhere in the United states, when many businesses are closed: banks, schools, post offices, so if you work at one of those jobs, you probably aren't working during the 2-4 hour game (quest or scenario). The plan is to space them at least 2 days apart so they can level up the character or buy stuff and bring in a the same one for the next game. And advertise them here 1-2 weeks before gameday, cause those with variable schedules most of the time people only get their schedule that far ahead. This Thursday the 6th for instance (when I get my schedule) I can see my schedule all the way up till the 21st. I've always had a much easier time running live games.

My plan is to start next week, But I can adjust as needed. Still only at three-ish players so waiting for one or two more is preferred to running with three.

Howdy folks! It's a bit late (literally for me, since it's currently 02:21 AM here) but in case anyone was waiting for an official go-ahead to start Early GM Sign-Ups(!!) then wait no more! Early GM Sign-Ups for PbP Gameday IX are now open! :D
Remember: This is limited to one RPG table (which can be a regular game or a seat at one of the Specials) and one ACG table and to convention GMs only. General sign-ups for the greater online public will open August 12th. Tell your friends!
*edit* Added a note about ACG games!
