So, live games are now allowed, they are considered VTT instead of PBP even though they are run on Discord. On another note, that leaves me one more room for more Pathfinder game I can DM on gameday. I have dmed or played the following repeatables that I'm familiar with and know well enough that I'm confident I can DM these with flying colors, and I'm willing to DM one game more depending upon responses. All my games on gameday are public, except for this one which will be private and given priority to the people who respond. You have until the 15th of August to respond. That gives me time to set up maps and other stuff, which I can finally do on my computer with all them apps installed.

Since there's been a little confusion, I wanted to add:

Gameday IX Event Listing <-- This link will take you to the spreadsheet that displays all of the tables currently on offer for Gameday IX.

As per the original Gameday IX announcement there will be no universal sign-up spreadsheet, such as what we had for OutPost. Instead, GMs must post a Recruitment link for their game(s) on the Event Listing spreadsheet and interested players will use those to sign up for games. GMs will also need to mark their tables as 'Full' once all seats have been filled.

Apologies for not being more clear!

I would like to point out that Official Player Signup doesn't begin until August 12th (unless you're GMing a GDIX game which started today). Some recruitment threads do not mention having to wait until the 12th.

Taking Tyranius' advice from the Flaxseed Lodge;

It appears the one offering of GD IX's "Little Trouble in Big Absalom" already filled up with GM sign-ups. I would be eternally grateful if there is a GM out there willing to run it.

@rollforinitiative: I have already run this IRL, so I would be happy to offer it for Gameday IX.

None of the above. I'm going to submit a repeatable after public recruitment has been open for a few days. Like if there is 3 tables of quest 1 and all games are full on day 3 to day 5 of public recruitment, then I know to submit quest 1. If 1-14 games are all full on day 3-5, then I know to submit 1-14. I was making a poll to see what people like, but all I have to do is wait and see what people sign up for.

You are likely to be able to complete a quest before Gameday starts. However, as to a general response, it very much depends on what commitment you are planning to sign up for during the convention.

I was planning to try and get myself into a table running The Absalom Initiation, but I don't know if I will make it (only two tables running that Scenario for now, the first is FCFS, the other will do a Lottery to choose its players).

Not sure if you like the story hook for 1-01 or just think you should play 1-01 first. If it's the latter, I'll point out you don't need to play everything in order. There are a few pairs you should play in order: 1-16/1-17 (formally Part 1 and Part 2), 1-09/1-23 (same locale), but everything else is more or less standalone.

1-00 (not sure if it's being offered) uses only pregens, so if anything, that's the starter game.

1-01 is okay as your first game, but consider the other low-level repeatables: 1-06, 1-10, and 1-14.

I was more interested in that Scenario because last year for IRL issues I had to abandon it after just a couple of posts. But if you say there are other good ones to get myself into the Society, I'll look for those too.

So I can still use some more player for PFS 1-12 Burden of Envy Sign In Sheet for PbP GameDay

I will be starting it on Sept 8th after all the Labor Day conventions finish up.

How long do we think the quests and bounty will take PbP-style? Cuz, I'd dearly like to line up a few to play back-to-back. But the current sign-up/set-up doesn't allow for that.

I have found that they take around a week. Maybe a day or two longer but generally a week.

I've noticed it takes about a week & a half to complete a quest.

Depending on playstyle and the amount of RP, 1-2 weeks for quests. Bounties, in theory, should be on the lower end of that.

Still have room for up to 4 more in my quest, Quest 7: A Curious Claim (tier 3-6)! Come play with us!

Any GMs here willing to start Quest #11 within the next few days and finish before Gameday IX starts? I'll be off from work next week and am looking to get some PbP action on.

Just submitted two games for gameday, both of them are 1-14. There is a reason this one is repeatable. You can fight three different bosses, and I know there are some completionists out there that want to fight all three. In () I have the name of the boss you will fight. Of course I'll run the third boss on another gameday, just not doing all three as not to overload myself. I am running two 1-14 games during Isydcon on the 28th of September. These games (the Sept 1st ones) aren't in the google docs list yet, but they will be.

Sure can! Sorry, should have clarified better. GM's can indeed submit for games to begin later than the September 1st date.
