I've got a taciturn dwarf who's a member of the Vigilant Seal and would like to visit the Flooded King's Court...as long as the water isn't TOO deep...

What level is he?

1st. I only have 1st level 2e's.

I would also be happy to jump in with a level 1 something.

Haven't had a chance to play 2E yet. Anyone running anything that's a good first taste?

Lost on the Spirit Road Gameplay (Link)

My 2001 (Alchemist 1) is a Vigilant Seal that would be interested in FKC. And a lot of quests are interesting too.

I'd do a couple quests or a full-length with you, GM Hmm! I've done Flooded King's Court and a few others, but none of the quests.

I've done Mosquito Witch with my rogue, and that's it. I'd love to get into something like a scenario, so I can really sink my teeth into the alchemist class.

I have an odd request maybe. For Playdiscon I got into a run of the Sandstone Secret thinking we would do all four parts but we only did part one. You think it's possible to do the last three?

Nope. 2e Quests are only supposed to take about a hour to hour and a half (at a table) to complete. So, they're just one-parters.

When earning XP in 2e, 4 quests are the equivalent of 1 full scenario. So that could be where you heard that there were 4 parts.

Do you want to wait until after PaizoCon or were you just being polite? Because I can run 1-06 with very little hassle to my schedule.

I second this request.

I guess I'm a little thick for not realizing this before this past week, but I didn't realize there weren't that many Level 3-6 scenarios. I have a 5th level alchemist who doesn't have many options.

If it helps clear a log jam / emphasize this isn't a zero-sum game, I intend to run 1-18 (Lodge of the Living God) as soon as a 1-14 I'm running finishes (2 weeks?), so there should be options for Level 1-4s after Paizocon.

Would love to play the Crown series as well. But I don't have a lvl 3 yet.

After playing online PFS for the first time over this weekend, and having an amazing time, I would love to continue the trend and explore Play by Post. I've done some play by posting before, but never here. I am a complete newcomer to this so I could probably use a bit of initial assistance. Or, I'll spend some time tomorrow and figure it out. But put me down wherever I need to be noted so that I might try some of this out!

Welcome aboard, notpsychoyet! We're glad to have you play with us, regardless of your experience. I believe you will find this to be a fun, helpful community. Should you have any questions, don't be hesitant to ask. A good place to ask questions regarding PF 2e is the Discussion thread here at Cottonseed.

There is some general advice and helpful guides on the codes, conventions, and customs used here on the forums that you may find useful at the sister lodge, Flaxeed Lodge.

There was also a recent PbP 101 seminar held during PaizoCon that has been posted on Youtube that provides information for PbP players and GMs to get started on PbP.

Finally, it just so happens that I am starting a run of a couple tables of a PFS scenario and, due to a recent drop, I have one more space at the table if you want to take it. (See my post with my GM alias, below).

Welcome @notpsychoyet! When you see a game in teh recruitment thread pop up that matches your level range go ahead and sign up. We will help get you all set up and the community is very helpful and welcoming.

Let us know if you have any questions on getting going. Otherwise we made a video during PaizoCon Online on navigating and getting your character set up on this site that I will link.
