Ooooo... I wish i had money to come back to America for Gen Con... Next year with my game company... We will be there.

You might be able to kick it off after this weekends PaizoCon, more info in regards of SFS is supposed to hit the deck then that might be of interest.
Really I only need to know:
1. If the SFS and PFS boards are going to be the same, meaning 1 campaigns tab, shared aiases etc.
2. If there will be an influx of SFS avatar images.
3. ..I guess that's it, and realy I only need #1.

They're timing the release of the game and first three scenarios for organized play with Gen Con, which begins August 17 this year.
Update to this now that the Gen Con schedule is published. There's actually a quest (for level 1 pregens), a special (must be played with level 4 pregens), and three normal scenarios being released at Gen Con.
And when tickets went on sale yesterday, they ALL sold out stupidly fast. I think Starfinder's going to be more popular than Pathfinder at Gen Con this year, which is kinda scary. The question is whether it's actually a good enough game to maintain that popularity after the initial burst of enthusiasm.
Really I only need to know:
1. If the SFS and PFS boards are going to be the same, meaning 1 campaigns tab, shared aliases etc.
2. If there will be an influx of SFS avatar images.
3. ..I guess that's it, and really I only need #1.
Number One is the most likely scenario. They have no reason to create extra work for themselves.
Allow us to dot with creative statements (or dot and delete if we just want to get it in our campaigns.)

So PBP Gameday VI starts the 25th of August, which means that Starfinder can be a part of it. I am delaying the start of my first Starfinder game to fit in with that window!

Sounds awesome! There's going to be a lot of firsts for me with Gameday VI. I have never played with pregens or characters higher than level 3 before, and (perhaps, obviously) it will be my first experience with Starfinder. Reading all the snippets coming through the blog, it sounds like I was going to have trouble deciding what character to create (so many cool options). So playing a high (for me) level adventure with pregens should be a great way to get an idea for what Starfinder is all about before I commit to anything. Can't wait for it to start!
At the rate these tables are filling up, I am going to have to wait for the new game smell to ware off before I get a chance to play.
At least it gives me time to sort out my first character.

I agree, it would be great if someone would start up another table of the Commencement. I'm sure I will GM it soon after gameday ends, and I would like a chance to play it before I read it.

Thank you very much for the offer, but I have indeed found a spot in another table of this scenario.

I would expect it out in September, and part II starts in October
So do I understand correctly that the PDFs for the first SFS scenarios will be available for purchase and download online when GenCon starts?
How we will obtain those scenarios?

Is everyone else as psyched about Starfinder as I am? Only a few more weeks now!

Can't wait. I just do not know if I will have enough time to create a character.
I'd be more psyched if they could provide some assurance on what day the rules will drop... whether the Quests will be available (and for what cost)... and the release of some SFS Guide to Org play.
I have my local VA's firmly up me for the rent and an excited player base messaging me multiple times per day. Aside from all that DEAD KEEN! :)

Shift, this was posted last week on the SFS facebook ( i didn't call)
Just got off the phone with Paizo CS. Order processing (i.e. billing) begins 27 July. Shipping begins July 31 and all shipping is expected to be completed by 18 Aug. Superscriber status for free scenarios is flagged with successful billing (not shipping). I thought you all would be interested in what I learned.

The good news is, all your characters can be Dataphile characters. In SFS you're not locked into a single faction. You can curry favor with multiple factions.
