Not if I get your character number at the start of the scenario like any good GM should.

Collecting info beforehand certainly makes record-keeping easier, but PFS RP Guild Guide says chronicles are filled out at the end of the scenario (p. 36), and entering a character number is one of those steps.

Also, from page 21:

If you play a non-1st-level pregenerated character, you choose one of your characters to assign the chronicle to at the end of adventure, ...

You may not assign a Chronicle sheet earned with a pregenerated character to a character that was already at the level of the pregenerated character or higher.

As "Serpent's Rise" *requires* a pregen, there *may* be rules in the scenario that permit an exception. We Be Goblins Free, for example, permits applying that chronicle to anything in the same tier (3–5, in that case).

So, the answer is "dunno", until you can confirm with a GM who can look at the scenario rules.

It's effectively a tier 6-8, despite the pre-gens being 7th level. This was clarified for Gen Con and is made clear by the tier on the chronicle sheet.

I've decided to use one of my GM stars to replay this, because it was just SO DAMN FUN at PaizoCon, and I know it'll be excellent with Kludde running it!

EDIT: That being said, Kludde, if you'd rather have the spots given to people who have NOT played the scenario before, I totally understand!

Serpents rise is a damn chaos to run. Which is, coincidentally, the way I like my scenarios best :-).

It's a pity that I'm only allowed to do one table of it at the gameday, though.

That being said: the floodgates are now officially open. I've put up a number of games for GD4. Go check out the spreadsheet and see if there's anything you like.

I've reserved two 'tables' for gameday, one at high level and one at lower level. High level is a series of three scenarios from season five, while low level is two season 4s with a strange season 5 thrown in.

I highly recommend Severing Ties. It's my all-time favorite.

So are we supposed to sign up as reserves if the table is already filled or are we supposed to have someone fill that for us. A little confused on the sign-up sheet but I wanted to make sure before doing anything.

I was wondering if someone would give me some insight into how chronicle sheets worked. I played through Phantom Phenomena at PAX this week and wanted to apply some of the boons to my character. Should I include an inventory tracking sheet or chronicle sheet in my alias? If I spend some of the gp I earned in the scenario does it need to be approved by a GM here or someone else?

Welcome to PFS! It is best to have a digital copy of your chronicle sheets and inventory tracking sheet, as some GMs will take a look to see if anything seems strange or out of the ordinary. As for spending gp, if you are buying during the scenario, one should let the GM know to make sure it is legit and within parameters.

Any fun or strange boons or items should also be pointed out to the GM before starting, mostly so no one out of character is blindsided by weird setups. Example, my summoner has three traits because of a boon, and tends to ride the mount into battle, thus needing a few items to make it feasible. (He is also a grandfathered APG Summoner, so things can get iffy if constant tracking isn't done on my part.)

I'll add more about the chronicle sheets when I get home, as links will be needed for the explanation, and as resource guides.

Since they are just too much fun to run, I'm starting another wounded wisp table. I've put the reserves for the last table in, and I have two more free spots - sign-up on the waiting list!

Hi! This is a great place you've got going here! I'd like to sign up for 4-11 the Disappeared.

I've been interested in giving PbP a shot. I've got several PFS characters, however I just recently created a new level 1 character and was hoping to find a low tier (1-2) session to join. I've already played in the Disappeared and Rise of the Goblin Guild, but if a Wounded Wisp table is starting I'd be very interested. I'd be playing with 4249-5, a level 1 half-elf psychic.
