We haven't sent any order confirmations that say things like that. Looking at your orders, you appear to to have started a playtest order with us, but never completed it. Did you perhaps change your mind and order from Amazon directly? The messages you received sound much more like something they would have sent.

Sorry about that. I checked and it seems I did order directly from Amazon (I guesss I had forgoten, it was quite a while ago). I'll keep waiting from my updates from Amazon. Thanks for the fast reply.

I'm in Canada. I receive notice that the Doomsday Dawn has shipped, but that the Rulebook is not expected to ship/arrive before September. Also I do not my credit in my account.

The base assumption that unarmored defense is the default for every class is already wrong. That's not written anywhere. RAW also means you don't get to add things yourself.

p.16: To calculate her AC, add 10 plus her Dexterity
modifier (up to her armor’s Dexterity modifier cap), plus
her proficiency modifier with her armor, plus her armor’s
item bonus to AC and any other bonuses and penalties
that always apply.

You add proficiency with armor. Not with unarmored defense. Otherwise this would have been listed.
Unarmored defense is just used in context with the monk and needs to be treated as such.

It says in the Armor section p.176 that if you don't wear armor, you use your profficiency in unarmored defense.

I made a Sorcerer level 1 on Herolab Online, she has a +2DEX and her AC is 11, so clearly Untrained in Unarmored defense (10+2DEX+1Level-2untrained=11)

Do we know the dates yet?

Any PC who fails the DC 15 skill check is caught and kicked off the ship, but as long as two or more PCs are not caught, the rest of the PCs may board the ship without being noticed. If the people on the docks notice two or more PCs, they conduct a thorough search, and find all PCs who did not succeed at the skill check by 10 or more. Thereafter, the DC of skill checks to sneak aboard the ship increases to 25.
This utterly baffles me. If two PCs succeed, everyone may board the ship. If two PCs fail, a thorough search is performed finding anyone that didn't exceed the check DC by 10 or more. A hardline read may be too penalizing. How did you handle this at your tables?

this also confuses me. I find the instruction contradictory.

I've just started running it. This is a great help. Thanks.
