My level 1 Tengu Swordmaster has learned much in the Library of the Lion, and is ready to take on his next mission for the Pathfinder Society. Please add me to the list for any PFS 1st-level games you're starting (not for an Adventure Path... I don't want to commit to that length of a campaign just yet).

Hi gang! I've based this character concept around a Season 5 faction trait, and now I'm getting worried that if I don't finish at least one game with her before season 6, I'll never be able to play her in PFS! (If that's how the faction traits work?) So any openings in these last dwindling weeks will get you the eternal gratitude of an artist who will draw your character (and is not above shameless bribery).
She's not quite finalized, but she's 90% there. Come take a look. While she's an Oracle, she's a bit more offense than defense, as you'll see why. I believe she's on target to being PFS legal, though I'll double check.
Many thanks for all your help!
~Megan

Oh good! I don't want to derail Kludde's wonderful thread so I'll put it as succinctly as I can.
Osirion, Mummy-Touched: As a small child, you survived the damning curse of a mummy. You gain a +2 trait bonus on saving throws versus diseases and curses.
I think this later line might have been throwing me off:
Any faction-specific vanities, titles, traits, prestige items, or other purchases made while the character was a member of the retired faction are retained by that character with no changes. After the faction is retired, none of these faction-specific items are available for future purchase.
I may have been confusing "retired faction," like the Lantern Lodge, with any new faction traits Season 6 might bring.
Certainly, if I'm still able to make a new season 6 character with season 5's faction traits, then there is no rush at all!

This refers to the shadow lodge and the lantern lodge which were retired last year. They have no plans that I am aware of to remove any additional factions so you need not worry.

Kveðjur og gæfu að þér náungi Pathfinder samfélagið byrja ....
Sorry, I sometimes forget that not everyone speaks Gnomish. I would endeavor to interest you in the consideration of enlisting my services for any forthcoming adventuring proposals!
Figit is trying to make a good impression and trying to sound like a smart, fancy lad

I'm interested in this, as both a player and DM.
I'm moving, and internet is cut off for a few days, so I can't add myself to the list just yet, but I have:
Cleric (8th)
Cleric (7th)
Inquisitor (4th)
Warpriest (4th)
Cavlier/Cleric (1st/1st)
Barbarian/Cleric (1st/1st)
Urban Druid (1st)
Warpriest (1st)
I'm also DMing a few games currently.
Quest for Perfect parts 2 & 3 (1st-7th)
City of Strangers part 2 (1st-5th)
Lost at Bitter End (7th-11th)
and might be able to fit in one more player in each.

I've never done a PbP, and it has been years since i've last played paper and pencil. I'd like to join a game and give this a whirl. I have hero labs (in hopes that the old crew would get back together, but alas it's hard when schedules conflict.), so I have been playing around with that. I have generated a lvl 1 Hunter, I hope that it's a legal class.
If anyone has room at a table, and doesn't mind teaching the PbP aspect I would like to join any adventure and try this out. I've bookmarked this thread, and will check back every so often, or PM me. I'm trying to get my character uploaded so to speak on to my profile (any assistance with that would be much appreciated!).
Thank you in advance,
Merc

Well, I don't really know much about what scenarios there are. I would vote for NOT current season (as I'm going to PaizoCon and that's likely what we'll be playing.)

DM Beckett wrote:How about PFS 2-01 "Before the Dawn part 1 - The Bloodcove Disguise" (1-7)?Mind if I join too with one of my characters?
Thats fine, but Im going to cut it off there (assuming the other 4 are all in). Ive found that 6-7 players in PbPs tend to not work as well as 4-5, but its doable.

I go wherever the research leads me. Just point me in the right direction and be sure to let me blow something up along the way!
Figit seems pretty bold for a 1st lvl character, who hasn't done any adventures yet! (Translation: any scenario is fine, he has an empty log)
Unless we play a scenario for 1st level only doesn't it matter what games YOU the player have played?

Not sure what you mean here.
1. Figit is a new, lvl 1, character who hasn't played yet
2. I(player) didn't specifically note an adventure that I was unable to play w/o metagaming, due to having played said adventure before and remembering plots/encounters/ect.
(mainly because my last 3 yrs of pathfinder have been spent playing games created from scratch by my DM)
so.....
either way, feel free to run ANY adventure. And let's have FUN!
:)

This was something I missed on my first pass of the PFS rules too. It's not that each PFS character can't replay a scenario. It's that (with the exception of replayable level 1 scenarios only), none of your characters can have credit for the same scenario. You as a player can only play each scenario for credit once.
So for your PFS character #1, if you play Silent Tide scenario, then that scenario is unavailable for play for any of your future PFS characters. So, it's a bit of a disincentive to have tons and tons of PFS characters, since you'll just be limited the pool of scenarios each one can play.

Though, again, you CAN play it ... you just won't get any credit for any character (he will not advance.) I presume in that case death is also not permanent as it's not recorded in any way?
I think he's saying he hasn't played ANY so it's all good, but ...

For the record, at present, the current rules are as follows:
Each person may receive credit for a scenario *once* as a player, and *once* as a GM (in addition to re-play credit for GM stars).
Players are allowed to replay a scenario for zero xp/prestige/gold, but *only* to make a legal table of four players (so, instead of having to run a pregen). Any resources (e.g. potions) that they expend are expended, and if they die, they are dead (well, unless they pay to be raised).
There is a big thread over on the PFS boards about this - a number of vocal people are trying to get 'unlimited' no credit replay...
