Its the player, though there are certain exceptions. You can replay any tier 1 scenarios and tier 1-2 sanctioned modules with a first level character - you can also play the modules once with a 2nd level character - this is mostly introductory scenarios like The Confirmation. You can also earn replays by having GMed a lot, each GM star earns you the right to replay one scenario or module.
I will also note since many people seem not to know it that you cannot run the same character in two PBPs at the same time.

I've put up the thread for Night March here. I'll keep recruitment open to fill up the last two slots - if they don't, I'll run with four.

I would play Reign of Winter, especially if the first book is replayable (I think it would be since the chronicle is for level 1? I don't know about that). Of course, if we continued on after PbPGD to the other books that would be ideal.
If its not something you can replay I'd still play the first book for no credit just so I could continue with the rest of the AP.

Ack... How did I miss this call.. my internet's been screwy last couple of weeks, have been posting with my phone. I started Night March of Kalkamedes with Ser Willem, but the GM left, so he never finished it. He is currently signed up for PbP Game Day Bitter Bargain. I'm sure I missed the prior calling, so if you could put me back in the waiting list, that'd be awesome..

DM Kludde |

Okay, I'll give 'the snows of summer' a shot.
As far as I understood, running the sanctioned portion of an AP gives the same rewards as running a module (3 XP, 4PP). The first part is a tier 1-2 part, so should be replayable.
I'd love to try this as a pilot for an AP, so I'll do it like this
(1) I'll run the sanctioned part for Game day and hand out chronicles
(2) I'll treat the run as a pilot for running the full AP
(3) I'm going to give myself some freedom selecting players
For game day, this will be a pretty big module, so I do need somewhat frequent posters. To make everything PFS compatible and GameDay compatible, I think the best option is to create a PFS legal character for the AP (so you can decide after the module part whether you want to continue with the AP, or whether you want the character as a PFS character)
Does that make sense?
----
TL;DR: Starting recruitment for 'Snows of Summer (Reign of Winter part I)'. Please have a look at the Reign of Winter Player's Guide (a free download) and build a PFS legal character that could also be used for the full AP.
So: who is interested? I've got six spots, please give me a short character pitch...

I would run this guy through the AP. "Average Joe" is a Garundi that could never seem to find a permanent home, always having to move on due to raids, bad crops, war or worse. As he grew older he learned to defend himself as a basic fighter, joining the militia or other defending forces for wherever he lived. Eventually he ended up in the town that the AP starts in and gets involved in the hijinx that ensues.
My plan for this character is to multi-multiclass since he has such "average" stats for a PC, perhaps taking a dip into 2 or 3 other basic classes as he learns more about being a "hero" instead of just some guy. I may do something else as the AP goes along, we'll see. If you like this guy let me know as I tentatively had him tabbed for another scenario but I would MUCH rather run him in this.

I would be very interested in playing Snows of Summer, and posting frequency - which has admittedly suffered a little lately due to crushing hours - should be excellent as I am taking at least April and May off.
My initial thought is a primary healer with some sort of unusual schstick, either Oracle or Cleric - perhaps an Evangelist? I would not be able to put something concrete together until Monday.

This is Merck
I originally had made a scarred half orc witch doctor for this AP. He had some melee capabilities and was a runaway from the Hold of Belkzen. But unfortunatly that archetype is not legal.
By gameday I will have this druid avaible. He already have one xp, I hope its alright.
The youngest brother of a wealthy merchant clan from Qadira Buri grew up crossing the desert with his family's caravan. But while they lived for trade and coin what the young dwarf loved the most was the desert itself and its endless horizons. While his family pay its respects to Torag and Sarenrae Buri found a more primal form of spirituality, he would commune directly with the natural world.
Upon reaching adulthood he joined the pathfinders so he could continue his travels and still serve his people as a Qadira envoy.
Role: Jack of all trades / offhealer.

DMRaven |

Kludde, if you are still accepting characters for Reign of Winter for PFS, I would like to throw my hat in the ring.
I have never played a PFS game before, but have played a fair number of PbP. I've been consistently daily-posting in one game for over a year now. My PFS character, Kezia is a hexcrafter magus focusing on debuffing. Its a character concept (Witch-knight of Pharasma) I've been wanting to play a lot recently!

DM Kludde |

DMraven: Yes, we're still accepting. Sounds like a good character too.
We've got a table that is good to go, and one more spot open. Anyone that is interested, please give a shout!
RoW-SoS:
1. RyckyRych/Joesef Nice avatar
2. Magabeus - Hunter with a cat
3. Broken Prince
4. Merck - Buri Sunwalker
5. DMRaven - Kezla

I've set up a campaign for Snows of Summer here, so go ahead and dot in.

DM Kludde |

Great! Just dot in at the discussion thread. Can you confirm you can meet the posting requirements? I have to be somewhat stern on that, since it's a long module with a limited amount of time. It should be fine if we can stay north of 1 combat round per day.
With Celiaea joining, the current table is full. If there's more interest, just express it down here, and I'll see what I can do (as always).
Also: those still looking for games, have a look at some of the over 100 (!) Game Day games that still have spots open. GM Alice made a list here of games that still accept players.

Due to schedule conflicts preventing me from going to a local store to play pathfinder, I'm definitely hoping to get into an online game.
This would be my first online of course and I am a newbie but I've read the rules extensively... so much that it as if it's pouring out my ears.
I'm available for a game Monday through Saturdays but don't play Sundays and I'd like to take a character through the ropes via Pathfinder Society games.
Any recommendations on how best to accomplish this desire/goal?
