Welcome all, and thanks for joining in. It's going to be an exciting ride, this one, and I suspect we're going to see a high concentration of aasimars and tieflings ;-)
Don't worry if your character isn't ready yet. We'll have some moment of character introduction, so just have your character concept ready, and take until ~tuesday to fill out the crunch. Could everyone that checks in at least have a
- Character name
- Race ;-)
- Class
- Some broad idea whether or not K(Local) and Diplomacy are class skills
It would her very helpful to have your gender/race/class line contains your essential character info:
Example:
Human Fighter [1] | HP 12 | AC 20 T 13 FF 17 | F +3 R +2 W +1 | CMB +3 CMD 16 | Init +4 Perc +1
AC 19, T 13, FF 16 // Fort +3, Ref +3, Will -2 // CMD 18 // Perception +2
DM Jelani checking in. I'm going to make a Tiefling (Qlippoth-Spawn) barbarian. Idea is he tries to be a diplomatic and gentlemanly scholar, but he's got a terrible darkness inside that sometimes he can't contain.
I'll probably drop a rank and trait towards diplomacy.

I *love* Paladins. Hopefully you will stick with that. If we wail on stuff hard enough we can kill all of it before we need any healing. Maybe. Hopefully.

After seeing all of the fighters I felt compelled to bring some healing so we can survive. I'll retrain him as a paly when we're done. I'm relatively new to PFS but the old-school gamer in me needed some balance in the party.

I'm traveling, but hopefully should have some time to stat up my guy tomorrow. Sorry for the delay! It won't take me very long as I've got software to help and have made plenty of barbarians before.

To DM Kludde: My intent with my last gameplay post was to buy an alchemist's fire, chaulk, and string and assumed I would be able to so I added it to my character sheet. Was I allowed to do this and should I have indicated it differently?
To everyone else: was anyone else buying any additional equipment?

I had the money to buy some flasks and intended to do so. I did not say so because I forgot we needed to keep the pace fast, and I figured I'd have another opportunity to do so before we hit the road. Whoops...

I'm not familiar with using a splash weapon. It appears that on my first round I can pull out the flask and move 5' (BAB 0). But then the rules state that "preparing to throw a splash weapon" is a full-round action. Does that mean I can't actually throw it until my 3rd round?
Well, yes, I moved quite quickly there and didn't note the chance to buy equipment. I'm putting you on the honour system: if you really intended to buy the stuff, go ahead.

I already acted and I'll stick with my action to avoid confusion, but I'll add some flasks of acid to my inventory.
A third flask will overburden me, but I will buy a flask of acid for someone else who can't afford any if they want some. Just let me know if you take it so I can adjust my gp.

Thanks. I look forward to more adventures through your recruiting thread.
The only question I have is that I thought the dhampir had a +1 longsword that I don't see on the sheet. I'm still fairly new to this so maybe that item isn't available for tier 1.
