Okay, may be slow for a bit. Laptop adapter abruptly gave up the ghost and I'm on my last two hours of battery power at the moment. Hopefully I can get this fixed soon. GMPC as needed.

Woot. Level 4. Tomid take a level of Rogue.

His BAB goes up to 2. He was only at 1 BAB due to multi classing.

I think we are rolling hit points. If so, Hit Points: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Fort and Will save increase by 1.

Sneak attack increases to 2d6

He take a stat increase in Charisma, bringing it up to 14.

No new feat or Rogue talent, but his trap sense increases by 1.

Favored Class bonus goes to skill points so he gains 10 more skill points.

Skills are:

1 point into Swim - thinking about that water elemental
1 point into Spellcraft so he can help id items.
1 point Linguistics - Idea for a language?
1 point into Disable Devise to keep it maxed out
1 point into Perception
1 point into Bluff
2 points into Acrobatics for tumbling
1 point into fly, even though its not a class skill
1 point into Intimidate, so he is trained in it in case its needed.

I know this would be a good time to step in and GM the group, but my schedule is a little too hectic now. Summertime would probably work out better for me.

Well thats no fun! New HP = 41 (Zinny catching up, cant have that!!)

For his level 4 stat increase he takes Strength, going up to 18.

For his level 2 Fighter Feat he takes Bodyguard

Once again, his mighty solitary skill point goes to Perception.

Well, if so, our GM has the "2 traits" thing listed under Character Creation for our campaign, so he should change that. GET OFF OUR LAWN!

Seeing as our character creation process was different than that of the first campaign (and that the campaign info tabs are different for the 2) the 2 traits thing isn't for the 2nd campaign (although Hugo is right that we got to take 2 traits).

@Tomid, fly states that you can only invest ranks in it if you have one of the following :

  • A natural means of flight
  • A natural means of gliding
  • If you possess a reliable way of flying every day (i.e. through a spell or a special ability)

Personally think it's a bit silly as you apparantly need to be capable of actually flying before you can learn how to do it :)

We're currently about to start our 2nd "adventure". Curious how we will fare now that we got upgraded from NPC-classes to PC-classes :)

I think I changed the 2 trait thing when we started recruiting mid-term and I don't know why I had it at one, except that was probably what the original game had that started this mess in the first place =) At this point, if you don't have 2 traits, go ahead and pick another one so you DO have 2 =)

Now that you remind me, I seem to recall the fly skill rule. He is already at +7 without skill ranks and I was regretting that point anyway so I'll move it to Diplomacy, making his skill +11.

Tomid does indeed only have one trait. He will take Iiiuminator, which is a Sarenrae trait that gives him +2 diplomacy.

I don't think it was official, but I have indeed been busy with gameday stuff. Got my 3 tables mustered and finalized the two characters I'm playing myself, now. I needed a little break from Grizelda, frankly. I enjoy her character, but I think wizards wear me out!


Yeah - what Griz said. I am also in a new position at work and that has been pretty busy, and we're wrapping up an eight week confirmation course for 7-8th graders, so I've been swamped!

*flops in a tired pile over here* I have been working on a big work deadline that has eaten my life for the last 10 days. Not quite through yet, either, but at least the end is in sight.

Hugo: I kind of like Armor Expert for flavor stuff-- he might have worn armor around the smithy growing up, dreaming of the day he could wear it for real?

I also like Born Free (mostly because I've played a Dominated barbarian who TPKed her own party... twice...) but I think it fits with Hugo's desire and determination to be a big damn hero.

But there's nothing wrong with a +1 bonus to your will save, either.

Dude, you need to take one that lets you grant more help with aid another to milk that bodyguard feat. I loved playing it with the Adopted(Helpful halfling) trait.

It's probably too late to be adopted by halflings, (or is it? lol!) but maybe the GM would let you use one of these or a custom trait like them?

I had thought about the aid traits, but it seemed too much work to justify the ones available, especially since Hugo never planned to be a bodyguard initially.

Supportive might be require less rationalization, though it's a bonus on the skill check, not the aid granted.

Hey everyone...I apologize for my absence. I've had several things pile up at once and have only been able to make small character comments this past month or so. And with summer just around the corner, I'm not sure it's going to get easier! Plus, I'm losing my creative zest for the game and don't want this to become a dreary slugfest with no life!

So rather than keep you all hostage, I am hanging up my dice as GM for both Ordinary Hero games. If anyone wants to step up and take over let me know - other wise I will deactivate these games this weekend. =(

I've had a blast playing with you all, and look forward to continuing our adventures together elsewhere on the boards. Thank you for a really cool year (plus!)

Aw, well I'm sorry to hear you're over-stressed! But I get it, inspiration is rarely an infinite well from which to draw from. I definitely enjoy our PFS games together and I'm not slowing down on that front. I may even try an adventure path at some point.
