About the free Profession and Craft skills, we got a rank every level, or just the first? I'm revising Hugo sheet and updating him to a new format I've devised, and was wondering why id taken a skill point for favoured class and hadn't spent it.


It was just to start the character. All ranks from 2nd on are from your class/Int mod limit. And the skil checks to start were for a profession and any skill that was related to that profession (although your Craft is an excellent choice!).

Back in the day, we used to have a house rule called the 20-20-dead rule. If you rolled a 20, and then confirmed with a 20, then you rolled a third time. If you at least confirm the third roll, it was instakill.

Abi is getting a bit closer to her god. 2nd level spells* and Selective Channel-- since all she's done really is channel a lot, and I don't pre-req for other things yet!

*Aid, sound burst and bull's strength is what I'm rolling with for now.

I put some ranks into Spellcraft and Knowledge (arcana)-- Grizelda is rubbing off on me. Otherwise, +10 Diplomacy and +10 Sense Motive. Oh yeah!

Oh, I already have that written up and ready for you (after your level ups are completed) =) I even managed to throw in a new plot hook with it! I'm quite proud of myself! Too bad John Keel never came back - he had some plot elements he was supposed to introduce...not to worry, though. I've already got a back-up plan!

So either tonite or tomorrow I'll post your goodies. Then I'll give you all a few days in case you want to write any story-line posts for your characters. Feel free to provide dreams/goals that may help me continue to design adventures for you all. Are you going to continue at your day jobs and be part-time adventurers, or are you leaning more toward full-time (like Hugo) with a little work at your old job to fill the time between?

So in case you were wondering...your 'goodies' came from here. Your first d100 told me which slot (head, eyes, hands, etc.) and the second roll told me which item from that slot =) The power of randomness!

Im kinda torn on whether to actually go with the Exploration subdomain or just keep the regular Travel domain. This mostly concerns the level 1 Granted Powers. Door Sight seems fun, but im wondering if Agile Feet will be more useful. I dont often run into difficult terrain in the games I play, but maybe its a bit more prevalent in PFS modules?


Griz - Duvik's Pass is a smaller town than Daggermark, so no joy. I do have an idea for your training - it would involve...

Plus I now have a potential plot hook to the Daggermark governing council for potential higher level adventures!!

Hey, on another note, I know most, if not all, of us are playing in the online game day event through Warhorn. What do you think of taking a one week hiatus from this game to let us get the event games up and running? It seems the beginning of a new game is the most post-intensive because everyone is trying to establish their characters and the feel for the group... Thoughts?

I personally have the time to keep up with both, so it would have to be because you dont, I guess. End of the day, its the GMs choice to pause things as needed.

If we need to delay, I'm good with that as well. But most of my games are grinding along pretty slowly, so I'm already back to refreshing my campaign page and pouting over no updates multiple times a day. But we could always just work on our interim roleplaying stuff. Some downtime interacting in Daggermark, perhaps?


Like Griz and Tomid - I have more time on my hands now (and for at least another week, I bet...) so I'm good to press on. Just wanted to get a feel from the group =) Let's see what the rest have to say.
