[PFS 2E, Campaign Mode] Sundered Waves by Sedoriku Table 1

Hey guys, welcome to my table of the Sundered Waves.

First a few orders of business. I was prepping this scenario and am realizing it really would work best with 4 players, but it's not an extremely complicated scenario so I think I can run two tables of it instead. One of you has expressed strong interest in playing with the pregens and another might be interested in making their own character.

So I propose that we have one table with exclusively the pregens and then a second table where people can create their own characters if they so wish (thought using a pregen there would be okay as well.) To that end, as you were first to sign up, so please let me know if you want to be on the pregen exclusive table or the open table. I'll fill openings as they may appear tomorrow (Thursday Japan time.)

Second, I sadly had plans for most of Sunday in Japan, so my plan currently is to start the game early Friday (in the US, Late Friday Japan/Australia time) to introduce the premise and let you roleplay and get settled into character. I might check in later and possibly move along, but I'm not planning on starting in earnest until Monday Japan/Australia time (late Sunday US time.) I hope this is acceptable for everyone.

Otherwise, this looks like a fun scenario to play and I hope you enjoy playing it!

As for character creation there's a few limitations:
1-We'll use the basic character creations rules in the CRB, you'll be level 5
2-You should have a pirate/sea theme or reason to be a pirate as the scenario assumes you worked on the same ship
3-given the pregens also have these options, you can all choose one uncommon or rare character option. For example, a sprite race is okay but all other options should be of common availability.
4- For wealth you can either pick permanent items (4th: 1, 3rd: 2, 2nd: 1, 1st: 2 and 50 gp) or a lump sum (270 gp) *I will also need to message you about a specific limitation.

I haven't rolled up many characters in 2e yet, but it wouldn't be a bad idea idea learn how to scratch up another. What type of character should I make it as, 2e society or something else?
As for items I'm guessing that means 1 4th level item, 2 3rds, 1 2nd, 2 1sts, and 50gold on the side?
Do uncommon/rare feats count as the one uncommon/rare option, or just ancestry/heritage choices? Are all official books open for use or are we sticking to society sanctioned content alone, my guess is sanctioned only but want to make sure lol.

Oh definitely stick to sanctioned content. I should have stated that earlier. But if you aren't comfortable with making a character you can readily use one of the pregenerated characters for the scenario they have a direct tie in to the scenario as well.

Kaako does a sly, dextrous dance around Lavanna while thrusting his rapier in mock combat. The bird caws and clacks in laughter at Lavanna's remarks.

Kaako continues his dance as he practices his swordplay.
He dances closer to Lavanna then comes to a quick halt with his beak against Lavanna's nose. He holds his rapier behind him so as not to cause any harm to his friend.

I will be playing Kaako as a male (he/him). I have a Myers parrot who is now 28 years old and he's a real jerk. Lol. He would be considered Chaotic Neutral and he's a bitey-bite. I'm playing this PC how I think my parrot, Kirby, would act.

I would prefer to make a character as Massee wanted Elsir and a fighter does not sound to interesting since I have one but I can take the last one if needed.

I would like to build a Beastkin (Shark) type of swashbuckler.

Maps are ready! I took the liberty of making tokens for the pregens, but if you want to make a different one, there's a link at the bottom of slide 2. While there, please feel free to add some details about your character on slide 2, then figure out your marching order position on slide 3 and add yourselves to the map on slide 4.

Also I have a skill macros page that should help me run things a bit faster. It might take a little time to fill out but it can be a life saver for the GM.

I'll add links to both in my tagline once I have a moment to mess around with a URL shortener. The Witchwar Legacy table has finished, but I still don't have room for 6 Google Drive links.

Otherwise I'm thinking we are good to go for a start in 5 1/2 to 6 hours. If you don't have a finished character sheet yet that is okay, we won't be starting in earnest for a little bit yet. Also I will GMPC Jayden if needed, but I'm hoping we will get an interested party by Monday or so.

Also in other notes, the pregens had some problems with their numbers and the pdf was supposed to be updated but I can't seem to download an updated version. If someone does find one please let me know.

Good news is the pregen link on the product page is updated. It lists all of the things that Elsir is missing I believe as those were the only ones that we couldn't fix ourselves.

Hey, I hope my reading abilities will improve after my coffee, but right now I'm confused and don't want to go off the rails with my first post immediately.

I'm reading this as if we crashed a second time while trying to get to the rendezvous point or is this meant as a flashback for the first crash? The boat name sort of threw me off a little. Sorry.

Yep seems this is another crashed boat. The first boat was just abandoned as Captain Renlock told you to stand down and let the Andoren Navy catch you instead of risking a fight and losing people. The ship has just started to sink after five years on its own (and maybe some combat damage or was intentionally made inoperable by the Andorens?)
The ship on the map is the Brass Bird, the ship you guys took here is, uhh, tiny bits in the waves?
