Same.

Working on the updates.
Are there spells that:
* Will purify water, like the fountain we found that was befowled
* Will take care of Sickened condition
Also would Cleanse Air help against xulguth for one battle?

Since it seems we are going to be pulled away from the circus, new characters could include other people than just those with the circus. I could easily see us picking up someone with the guards or recommended by the town guards. Plenty of other options that could easily work.
I don’t want to derail anyone’s ideas, just wanted to point out new characters probably do not need to fit the circus.

I think I've got my new character built, except for equipment. How much gold/whatever - mindful that we've got ABP rules going - do we have to work with?
Ah, that's a question in ABP that I wasn't prepared for.
Let's say double Currency, so 250 gp for Level 7 to spend on mundane equipment and consumables. You do still technically have all the previous unclaimed treasure and whatever claimed treasure relinquished back--I'm sure Leaf would hand over the gloves to those still venturing into the dangerous wild.

Rulean is updated.
Replace Communal Healing with Warpriest’s Armor
Replace Selective Healing with Restorative Strike
Will need to replace my armor with Full Plate.
Will change around spells prepared a little still, but would like answers on these questions.

Cleanse air is a great find, happy to prep it. Leveled but picking couiple new 4th-level spells… should buy some gear too.
GM Blake |
Sorry, Rulean, I got distracted.
While I like the 1e lore that troglodyte stench is a psychic effect, that hasn't been codified in 2e. I'll rule that Cleanse Air can suppress the xulgath stench within the area. Keep in mind that xulgath stench extends 30 ft out from the xulgath.
Restoration (2nd rank) reduces a condition's value by 2.
Sound Body (2nd rank) allows you to counteract an effect inflicting several physical negative conditions including sickened.
Long story short, there's a ritual that you need to perform to cleanse the pool. It's hidden under the layers of gore that need to be washed away. The clue was in a spoiler for Ephie.
I don't know of a spell that would cleanse water of that volume.
I'll bring you back into the action tomorrow with the cleaning of the walls in the pool room.

I'll get a post in over my lunch break and pass on the ritual info too.
Feeling weirdly uninspired by L4 spells… maybe heighten invis and a blast blast spell.

Cinder Swarm looks interesting but suffers from doing fire damage. Seems to me that if we are going against demons and such, need to keep their resistances in mind.
Life Draining Roots is a little creepy but interesting.
Seal Fate looks like the type of thing Mr. Splinters would do.
Vampiric Maiden is one that my Summoner really likes. They usually reflavor it as Draconic jaws closing on the victim.

If hero points reset I may reroll that feel free to bot. I don't like failing at my master skill.

Not entirely sure how to run Scrounger. Hoping that what I have posted makes sense. At least for building a weapon.
Now, the other thing is that the weapons fall apart too. Rules say 1d4 hours. I'm not entirely sure how to adapt that to a PbP setting or if it even needs adaptation. Since the GM rolls it, I'll leave it up to Blake to decide when it is no longer usable. Though getting some warning about it so that I can build a new one prior to adventuring further into unknown hostile territory with no weapon would be appreciated.
I'm also open to adjustments such as: weapon always breaks down right after a battle and needs to be replaced then. This archetype is mostly for fun and flavor. I think that no matter how it is run it won't be better in combat than just carrying around an actual weapon.

Did I not make a Hero Point tracker for this campaign..? Must not have.
Yes. This is essentially--you were one room short of finishing the upper level--the next chapter.
All Hero Points reset to 1.
EDIT: I am considering your suggestion, Tikomel.
