A six scenario run based out of Nerosyan.
The intention is to start with the Siege of the Diamond City multi-table special being run for RetroCon, starting on January 14th 2019. So lots of time yet.
Okay so Vlazis is a pass if these aren't Hellknight enemy-of-my-enemy type Paladins (though he's perfectly willing to work with Paladins and has done so in the past, primarily focusing on their shared reverence for order).
But he does also ping to Detect Evil, so I get it.
Sangkip is small because he has a Vanara alternate racial ability that lets him Change Shape at will to a small size version of himself. Since (like most Change Shapes) it has no duration, he just walks around small by default.
I'd probably lean towards Sangkip or Theophilus for a worldwound focused mini-campaign (Sangkip would see it as too big a challenge to pass up, and Theophilus always manages to get stuck doing way more dangerous work than he wanted), so I'll defer to whether we'll get more use out of a melee or ranged combatant, since they bring similar other skills to the table.
I have a Monk frontliner, a Brawler frontliner, and a Wizard glass cannon available. I'm happy to play any of them if there's a role missing, but we're looking pretty well rounded so far it seems.
So I'll suggest I bring Kara Saint-Germain. What better Adventure! than fighting demons at the edge of the world?
Okay, so OG3 hasn't picked yet. Since I know Umberto is off on another adventure with Shabah, I'll assume he's bringing either Giovanni Stellaluce (A stabsy rogue) or Alessio Imeroni (A supportive bomber).
I figure if he goes with Giovanni, I'll bring Theophilus (my telekinetic thief), or if Alessio I'll bring Sangkip (my own stabsy rogue)

Ok so the actual game doesn’t start until the 14th of January if that’s the case I’m fine as most my games will be finished and my bandwidth will open ... however if we start sooner than that it’s best if I bow out before we begin so I’m not holding up the game with sporadic posting rate. I’m in 7 games right now an GMing 2 others and frankly I’ve already taken a bigger bite than I ought to have. Having said all that I’d love to play this arrogant jerk with mommy issues again. He’s a character made for play by post in that I get all my enjoyment out of fleshing out his character and not through combat, skills, or actually you know being good at anything!
He’s a misanthrope who whines when he doesn’t get his own way, but can be surprisingly sincere on those rare occasions he deems one worthy of praise. He’s entitled without a title and the only nonsense he bookers is that of his own devise. He’s a royal pain in the ass who chastises you for not keeping your guard up while channeling to heal the whole party. And if your unlucky enough to play with him he’ll almost certainly find out something rather droll about your character moments after they’ve met.
So who’s in for an adventure with.......

And what GM credits (and when)? Ran up against players doing that in a previous run, which I wasn't a big fan of. Am running them in all in sequence for a sense of verisimilitude.

I'm excited!
I'm bringing Floria, an earnest and honest Taldan noble with a touch of the fiendish that she hates but relies on. She's primarily an offensive psychic with good intelligence based skills. Against foes (other than undead) immune to mind effecting effects she can use magic missiles, and against foes immune to magic she can run away and hide.
She has one GM credit chronicle that will kick in at level 5. She's also entirely comprised of GM credit so technically eligible to being completely rebuilt, but I've been levelling her up and buying items as I go just as I would a normal PC and am rather attached to her. The only thing I would consider is tweaking her spell selection slightly as now I'm faced with actual adventuring I think a support spell or two would go a long way.
Oops, Tom pointed out (and was correct) that I miss-typed my final scenario name! (I had the right number, but the wrong name).
The last one is supposed to be 5.24, Assault on the Wound.
(Though I've yet to sort out how I'll do the mass combat portion of it =))

Floria, I think we must know each other. Perhaps I saw you on the arm of Count Jeral at the Grand Prince's Spring Ball two years ago? Or do you summer in the Verduran with the druids and their dreadfully tendentious rules about every last twig and leaf? Is your great-aunt related to my great-uncle?

"It is as you say simply scrumptious to be out in the world, getting our hands dirty and doing important work, but it also jolly nice to find a good travelling companion to share a tea with and a spot of civilized conversation. Kara Saint-Germaine, I believe we shall be fast friends."

Oh NP GM in this case it's easy to track because I included a link to a Google Doc folder with all of Eamon's chronicles and boons on his avatar portfolio page. Also Eamon has been used exclusively as a PbP character and the 2 GM credits he has assigned were also PbP games so everything is very easy to verify. This also gives the GM and players what kinda PC Eamon is by clicking on any of the four games he's played in PbP .... here's a taste unseen inclusion, The cost of enlightenment, and one more (Eamon's introduction to the members of his first mission)! Portents Peril..
As for the 2 GM credits I know I get full PP and XP but do I also get to use the boons (on the chronicle sheet) that the players earned? If not I've been playing my 6th lv Shaman wrong (though thankfully I've never used any of those boons)

But of course! It was my pleasure, if only to get the Earl's wife to notice how much he was flirting with you. That was great fun. But of course, you always pay the price later, don't you? My mother had to pull quite a few strings to get our House re-invited to the Emerald Cotillion that year. Oh, she was not happy with me!
And of course, since we're... Kara's voice drops to a conspiratorial whisper ...allies and all, I'm going to forget who I saw you kissing in the stairwell later that night. Scandalous!
Kara's giggle is surprisingly girlish for someone who has seen more deadly combat than most professional soldiers.

Floria covers a rather unladylike snort with her hand. You saw that? A lady never kisses and tells of course, but how did you see us? I was certain we were alone. Did you use magic? I do so envy those who are permitted to practice openly. My father says magic is just another way of cheating and forbade my "little tricks" at events. Of course he still asked me to peer into the thoughts of our rivals for the uniform contract...
Floria takes a deep breath to centre herself.
Of course that's all behind me now. In the Pathfinder society magic is encouraged. Kara I'm right about your magic aren't I, I'm guessing illusion magic and you were invisible, ooh or divination and you were spying on us remotely? Do tell.

Well, you don't get to be First Maiden of the Winterfrost Brigade without learning a few tricks, you know. But you're right about the magic. Mother didn't understand but was supportive of my career choice, but of course Father thinks it's "not Ladylike" and "dangerous" and he "fears for my safety". So dreadfully boring, what they assumed I wanted to do. I just couldn't take it.
But what about you? I heard you were sent away for "issues". Surely that's not true?

Floria stiffens at the mention of "issues". Can I trust her? I'm going to have to trust her with my life soon enough, there's no use hiding an embarrassing secret.
"Well if you'll agree that not go spreading it around Taldan high society, the Yanmass Avernathus' have been having some money troubles. Oh nothing too serious, but my father is a devout worshipper of Kurgess, for better or worse. He likes to express his piety by watching competitions of strength or skill wherever he can, and if he has a little bet to spice things up, where's the harm?"
"The harm as it turns out, is when you lose a great deal of gold, and then go on to accuse the powerful people to whom you owe money of cheating and dishonesty. When the political tide turns against you, and you find even your most steadfast businesses failing to turn a profit because their customers decided to go elsewhere"
She tries a disarming smile having realised that the conversation has turned rather serious.
"My parents came to me and suggested that it was high time I stopped pottering around with my studies and found a husband, preferably from a rich and powerful family. I calmly informed them that my studies would be far more lucrative than any marriage, that I was leaving to become an adventurer and earn my fortune, and that I would only return when I could buy the whole malodorous town!"
Her voice having risen to an angry crescendo, Floria collects herself and adjusts her hair.
"Perhaps calmly isn't the right word, but nevertheless I left and here I am. I discovered in the Grand Lodge a library much more extensive than that of my Uncle, and no shortage of field work. I do hope you won't think less of me know that you know the truth."

Oh, Floria dear, what I heard was soooo much worse. I didn't believe it, of course, but I had to pretend to in order not to infuriate Countess Richalieu's daught...well, let's just say I didn't believe it.
You need not fear my spreading rumors about you. We Adventurers have a special bond, don't we? I think we're going to be fabulous together.
Also, I get the impression that I should not make her angry. What was that darkness that went over her face just now?
Would you believe I was to be betrothed to the Viscount of Saeron's Bridge? Such a tiny prefecture! I have half a head over him, and he has half a century over me! No, I'm afraid I can't go home any time soon. I fear he would be waiting at the doorstep...
Oh, look. There's that adorable potion-monger. I believe he's to be part of our team. Should we wave?

At the mention of Countess Richalieu's name, Floria's face screws up into a snarl, and for an instant her eyes take on a yellowish cat-like tinge. She blinks them away and softens as Kara explains about her betrothal, and her face softens again.
"Oh my dear, what a ghastly insult. I don't believe I've met the viscount, but I've heard tell of his toupee. They say it's so think it looks like a ferret crawled into his head and died!"
"But seriously I do understand your predicament. I'm sure your parents miss you though. If after our mission you wanted to return home I'd be glad to accompany you to keep the viscount at bay."
Floria squeezes Kara's arm.
For Heaven's sake Floria keep your head on. You almost transformed then, what would Kara think if she saw that? She might be an actual friend if you can just control yourself. Deep breaths.
She turns at the mention of Allesio and waves a greeting.

Alessio returns the wave. Seeing it as an invitation, he moseys over to have a chat. Not before a generous brushing of his mustache with his handy comb. Well met, fellow Pathfinders. I am Alessio Imeroni. He offers with a small bow in both of their directions. You two seem well-acquainted. Or at least run in similar circles. Pathfinder business?

Am I correct in presuming from your attire that you are our potion vendor? You wouldn't perchance have a concoction to add height and remove years from...never mind, it wouldn't matter anyway.
Kara switches, almost visibly, into "cocktail party chit-chat" mode.

The science for reversal of aging is a tricky one at that. I am a doctor by trade, combat medic. I'm afraid the concoctions I can offer stave off death, not age. Perhaps that'll be more useful. Alessio thinks about the early days in combat, so much death and injury. Those soldiers definitely thought my potions useful.

Floria goes as if to curtsey before remembering that she's dressed in the military uniform that her mother made her for adventuring, and turns it into an awkward bow.
"Pleased to meet you Allesio, I'm from Yanmass in Taldor, and judging by your accent and your fine mustache I'd guess you were a Taldan native too, Cassomir perhaps? What brought you to the society?
I must say it is a relief to have a medical man on the team, adventuring can be so dreadfully dangerous sometimes. Why on my last adventure I was almost bitten by a were-bat of all things!"

Ugh! Bats! Even the mundane ones are dangerous in a swarm. My last mission was supposed to be a simple retrieval of a lamp from a sacred crypt. They'd been sending teenagers to do it for years! But we found animated skeletons and bats and deadly traps, oh, my!
And I think you're mistaken, Floria. My keen ears find our companion's accent closer to the Tandak Plains. Good, stout folk. Tell us, good sir alchemist, which of us has the right of it?

Oh, I'm so sorry, I got carried away. To answer your question, good sir Alessio, there's not much to tell. Just your average girl who speaks six languages and shoots fire out of her fingertips occasionally. I've got some new tricks I just learned that I can't wait to try out.
She casually uses Mage Hand to fetch herself a fresh drink.

Although you guys are RPing up a storm here, technically, you don't actually meet officially until the scenario starts... at which point I don't think you'd have the time. =)

Bowing to pressure! (and all the RP) I have opened the Gameplay thread (and linked it from the Retrocon Special signup sheet for our table.)
(Eamon, you appear to have signed up to two tables for the same special... you might want to drop one while there's lots of time to get a replacement)
As for the RP side of things, no clue where you're coming from, as everyone is likely to be in different spots. But if want to, and are looking for ideas, just look at the last scenario you did, and where it occurred, then work out how to get from point A to point B ... and who you run into along the way.
It will be a month or so real time... and probably slightly longer than that game time, to make the trip!
