I almost always solo run PF2, so I could use that additional level. Technically I could use Level -3 creatures as well, but I think at that point I'd be fighting a housecat with a shotgun.
Pretty much, it'd have to be something weaker than an tiny crawling undead hand.

(if the book has rest of playtest bestiary monsters such as non mythic devastator, that means we get few more level 21-23 at least :3 )
Got inspired to check that and huh. Devastator, deh-nolo(from starfinder), Star-Spawn of Cthulhu, Valkyrie and Vargouille are only ones I spotted not being in release 2e yet <_<
So seems like they already covered most of playtest huh x'D

Vargouilles are actually found in a PF2 adventure path book, though curiously not in the adventure toolbox, but right in the middle of the adventure.

Ah crap, I realized I've completely forgotten to request azi and gigas in this book :'D
I really want both of those to come back (there are really cool monsters missing from early AP bestiaries!) :( I'm now probably asking for those too late and monsters are already decided...

Housecats are actually already statted-up as of the PFS-scenario
If memory serves, they are only level -1.

They were all decided before they announced the book, based on what we know of the Paizo pipeline. Many of the monsters were also probably already written (not edited/copy-fitted though). Actually, the book was sent to the printer some months ago.

I'm really crossing my finger for multiple types of monsters I hope are in this book x'D level 24 monsters, old favorites that never got adapted for 1e, some of really great but obscure ap entries, more categories missing from 2e... I know at this point I can't have them all but I'd really like to :'D

In honor of the imperial dragons coming in the Bestiary 3, what's everyone's favorite type of dragon? Mine are the Imperials and the Lincoln, both are so flavorful that I'm eager to worldbuild around them.
Yeah, those lanky, bearded dragons with the top hats are the best! They usually score four times as much damage on PCs. :)

Oh gawd. I'm suddenly picturing an entire Andoran-native family of dragons: the washington, jefferson, roosevelt, lincoln, and hamilton dragons. The last of which is extremely popular with bards.

Imperials for sure. I have so many questions about them I hope to see some answers for in this book. So excited for their inclusion.
Quick question, cause it is bothering me intensely: am I correct in recalling the Stheno, Medusa, and (the eventual) Euryale were given a family name in a stream recently? For some reason, I have this memory that they were, but I can't help but feel sorely mistaken. For some reason, I feel like the term Echidna was used at some point, since their proper name of Gorgon is taken.
Please, send help. My brain has been turned to stone.

Unless I'm mistaken the release date for every March sub item is now April 7. So I would expect that just means the March sub shipment window will be later.

I've seen the change in dates, but has a pushback in the order process been confirmed? It would be great to know if the order date is still set for March 11th or if that's been moved back to March 18th. And will this push back orders for future months? As far as I can tell April releases still carry an end-of-April release date.
I know you don't speak for the company but I'm wondering if perhaps I've missed an official announcement somewhere.

Hey folks. There has been no official announcement yet, but as you can see on our Release Date page (https://paizo.com/releasedate and the footer below) all the non-Org Play releases have been moved to Early April aka April 7. That is just a delay of a week. There is chatter about it on the Customer Service section of the Forums too. Shipments came in late; Chinese new year issues, I think. This does not delay the Late April products at this time. CS, the warehouse, the Paizo Store, and Marketing are getting our ducks in a row and will share more as needed, although I think it is (mostly) clear. I think most of you just want to know if the Auth date will change now. Cheers.

We are indeed waiting for the Bestiary 3 to arrive in our warehouse, among other items. So the next Release Date has been move to April 7 for all the month's print products. The payment Authorization date for subscribers will be March 18. Late April products are not affected at this time.

I can see the Singapore Strait from my window and everything's stuck.
The news says we're turning around ships in 7 days that we used to turn around in 2 days because there aren't enough containers. The period after CNY is usually a slump but it's been jam packed this year and it took everyone by surprise. The books probably went in the opposite direction, but the problem is global.

The main pendulum route should be normal by summer.
I don't know what this means for Paizo.
While I'm talking about this, it's really hard to buy Pathfinder books in Singapore. Tianxia probably isn't going to sell, but it would be nice to be able to buy scenarios and rulebooks without having them carried in by visiting expats.

Yep. Every mode of freight travel is screwed for pretty much the entire year at this point.
To bring this back on topic, have any new tidbits dropped anywhere?
We'll feature the Bestiary 3 on Paizo LIVE on March 25 with images and spoilers. It was also discussed on the first episode, now on YouTube.

With payment authorization happening on March 18th, it'll be a race to see who gets to show off the spoilers first! Either way, I'll be interested to see all the new art for the creatures over at Paizo LIVE. =D

Is Paizo Live on a regular schedule? I may start trying to catch it when I can and doing write ups for the sub, since a lot of people who want news don't watch the streams.

Once a month, but I can say the 3rd Friday or anything of the month yet. This month the street date fell back so we took advantage to fall back too. April will likely be the 16th. We have about 5 minutes for each topic and still can't talk about everything. But that it what cons are for. No May show dues to PaizoCon.

Fair enough, I'll keep an eye out and try to catch it anyway, I enjoyed the VOD of the first one.

Anyone got their pdf already? Can they comment if the Clockwork Assassin stayed as is from the Agents of Edgewatch adventure or there are changes to it? http://2e.aonprd.com/Monsters.aspx?ID=1004
I am hoping the latter in particular to the Thievery check. It works clunkily in combat, where it is either useless or you just inactivate the opponent completely. Was hoping for something like applying a Clumsy condition instead.

Authorizations started just a few hours ago. Don't think anyone will get their PDFs till Monday or Tuesday at the earliest, if I had to guess.

I would be surprised if anyone gets their PDFs before Tuesday. They usually spend Monday sorting out auth errors.

I know that I can wait until my book arrives, but I have a character build in mind for an Ifrit Dwarf. There's several references to Azers on the Elemental Plane of Fire, but I can't find any PF2 specific info on these creatures. *Burning* question is, are Azers included in the Bestiary 3?

I've already expressed this on the pawn page, but I'm a wee bit disappointed the Garuda and Peri weren't expanded on any and made into a family of Celestials; similar to how the Kyton/Velstrac were when PF1 was made. I personally don't feel the Celestials receive nearly enough love as say the Monitors and (especially) the Fiends. Making them a proper family of Celestials with similar a structure to the other Immortals would have been nice. Granted, the Peri mythology is a little more "constrained", for lack of a better word; but Garuda has so much lore to pull from to create a variety of different species. We have a total of 10 "true" Fiends, which is how I see any Immortal with various species as being "true" Immortals (similar to "true" Dragons). Currently there are 4 (5 if you count the Manasaputra) "true" Celestials by comparison (and 3 "true" Monitors; but, they are relatively new as far as kinds of Immortals, so I can understand this). Peri and Garuda should be expanded on, imo; and a new Celestial race should be made based around the Buddhist Ten as the Tian-Xia specific Celestials (since their technical aren't any). But, that is just my opinion; that, and I don't even have the book in hand yet. So, I suppose I'm jumping the gun here and may be throughly surprised by the implied lore in their entries. But, I'm pessimistic on that if I'm being honest.
