"Hey, I was just in a very dangerous and sexy situation. I've got the body of a 20 years old. Things..occur under the right circumstances. Anyway.." Joe explains to Escalavar before touching the mirror.

The sword mentally asks you if you are in a temple or brothel once you are in the room. Not before touching the mirror.

He remains quiet until you begin to act.

Silver Crusade

"Touch the mirror, and get us out of here!" the sword yells.

Joe you realize you should have been more specific as you see the same mirror before you but then looking around you see you are in a large room with a dozen mostly naked women.

The sword mentally tells you, 'A temple or brothel of Calistra?!'

Silver Crusade

Joe's Will save vs. Ego check DC 24: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17

'Kill her with a smite Joe!' the sword commands you. As he screams, "Now for all your fowl treachery you die!"

Silver Crusade

The sword seems to hear your interactions and gets excited, "Joe! JOE! Can you hear me... get away from her, she is Morgana La Fey!"

Silver Crusade

"Why.... why... why... Brandon... Joe..." You hear weakly come from the sword in the darkness almost as if speaking in despair.

Silver Crusade

Joe, Fort DC 12 or be sickened. LOL, only if you roll a 1...

"Oh uh, Joe... you need to kill an undead soon or you are not going to like the consequences. My drawback has been activated now that you are king. You need to destroy and undead each day or you will start suffusing of positive energy. Its kinda like radiation on Earth. Little bits of it and you should be fine but if the leak is too big, well. Sorry. Using your smite evils would work too just not effectively."

Silver Crusade

"These are your men, I trust them. I can feel their loyalty to the crown! Let them know power!" He belts out in pride.

Silver Crusade

"Ah yes sir. It is very nice! Sleep, yeah it was good being home. Ready and willing when you are ready Joe!" It says excitedly, not what you are used to at all.

Silver Crusade

"Smite them all!" It pronounces.

Silver Crusade

Round 1
With the vampire grappled to Joe it expends a Cure Moderate wounds against it. 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 8) + 5 = 14 DC 15 for half

Round 3
Again!

Silver Crusade

"I am Eskalaver Bane of Undead. There is no way you can block my divine detection. Let alone in my own country! By Merlin's beard you should have done your homework! Excaliber is probably my cousin. We were all created by the same divine and given different gifts. I have shown you my purpose but not his, Joe shall smite you now!"

Silver Crusade

Joe:
But before anything else can be said you get within 60 feet of the regent and your sword goes berserk! "How dare an undead sit upon the throne of Camelot! YOU SHALL BE SMITTEN, JOE ATTACK!!! SUPER CHARGE OMEGA!

Joe did I miss any allies?

There is a flash of blinding then your allies are around you. Jellena and Frank are before. Morgana still stands back 5 feet to your left. On your right is Midnight, the huge blue black tiger. Artemis, Delman, and then Ryada stand behind you, your artillery squad. Then the positive energy bursts forth as the sword you all know in Joe's hands screams, "DESTROY THE UNDEAD! LIVING THROW DOWN YOUR WEAPONS OR BE COUNTED AS AN ENEMY OF ESKALAVER! THE KING HAS RISEN AND YOU HAVE ALL BEEN FOUND WANTING!!!" OH YES THE SWORD HAS GONE BERSERK!

greater positive pulse :

3d6 + 15 ⇒ (4, 5, 5) + 15 = 29

This spell causes a wave of positive energy to spread from you, damaging foes vulnerable to positive energy and bolstering living creatures. Each creature damaged by positive energy in the area (such as undead) must succeed at a Will save or take 3d6 points of damage, plus your caster level (+15). Haunts manifesting in the spell’s area also take this damage.

This spell does not heal creatures healed by positive energy; such creatures instead gain a +8 bonus on saving throws against death effects, energy drain, negative energy, and effects directly caused by haunts. This bonus lasts for 1 round.

Silver Crusade

Joe, stop! JOE STOP!Joe, I have to tell you something before you do it! I didn't think it was possible that Avolon or Camelot was possible here. That's not what I have to say...

I am not excaliber, I am Es-kal-a-ver. Though I am a mere intelligent sword in the shape and form of Excaliber, I don't know what will happen if you put me in there! I know, I know what I told you but every intelligent sword wishes they could be Excaliber.

Silver Crusade

"It is entirely possible, especially if this woman believes in it so much to practically abduct you. Though this is amusing so I didn't say anything before. Though you might want to ask her or even yourself some questions. Why is she helping you? Why is there such urgency? How long will this trip take? Is it really wise to run off with her on your own? Then again you have a crystal of homing right?"

Silver Crusade

Joe:
"Oh yes!" the sword exclaims. Then reinforces with, "You would have your own smite from your class, this would be in addition to what you already have. Though it would function just like your own, except only versus undead. Three additional times per day."

Silver Crusade

Joe:
"My dear friend, I have been wonderful. Slaying undead has been so enjoyable and now I get this luxurious cleaning. Aaaaahhhhh! That would be suitable. I see you haven't used my dedicated power and was wondering if you would like to change it so you can smite undead 3/day instead?"

Silver Crusade

"Sing the words of power my paladin, though it is not undead we shall smite this evil abberation!" the sword practically sings the words in a proclamation to all. We are going to say you have 1 smite evil left. Though I don't think you have used any since the morgh and it is a new day since then. Hint:I have the power.

Once Joe strikes the leg the sword quickly relays telepathically,
'Leave the sword biting into its flesh until after the storm!'

Silver Crusade

"Smite the undead creatures here!" The sword rings out as Joe and Brandon cast detect evil.

Silver Crusade

Detect Evil:
First round = there are a lot of evil here.
Second round = not many strong essences of evil but 23 little ones.
Third round = do you wait that long?

"I sense no undead within 60 feet of me!" the blade announces.

The fighting continues in the fog, you also hear screams of pain.

Silver Crusade

He sighs and points out, "Another pool hunt and likely no undead to smite."

Silver Crusade

"Oh wow, this is different! I have never been treated as... yes this is weird. It feels... ehh. Nope, don't do that again. Thank you for including me but... eh. It's all good you will clean me later, Brandon drink mine as well!" The sword says as mixed emotions can be heard from his voice.

Silver Crusade

"That's right Brandon, drink, drink until you are full!" he says encouraging the dog in a pirate voice.

Silver Crusade

Once the group is outside of the guild he pipes up, "Good job team, it is great to be truthful, reliable, trustworthy and good!"

Silver Crusade

Joe sorry if that was confusing but you were saving versus me, excalibur to not do what the manual asked. You may act normally just not go South of town.

The sword blurts out, "Nope you are clean enough my paladin and you will not follow that book's edicts. Plus if you were dirty there is a fine pool in the Library."

Silver Crusade

"Oh it is the book, it wants you to go bathe in the pool... obviously you must stink. Ehhh." the blade calls out.

Sense Motive DC 3:
He is being very sarcastic.
bluff: 1 + 2 = 3 Auto fail

Joe:
Will Save DC 24, if you fail you stop and can go into the city but not South. Curse of Intelligent items!

Silver Crusade

"Yup it is undead, though if you strike it with me, we would both be destroyed. That is the staff and I. If anyone can pick it up and be unaffected, I would say is Jellena or Joeseph, though my weilder has me."

Silver Crusade

After the cat leaves the sword pipes up, "What a weird creature, almost feline in so many ways but then so big... at least it isnt undead, I would hate to fight it then."

Silver Crusade

'Destroy the undead first,' comes from the sword, though this time perhaps only Joe hears it. He only hears it.

Silver Crusade

Round 1
The sword glows a bit more before bursting, light emits from the sword then fades quickly. The three undead are covered in a sort of white dust or more accurately light dust.

+1 to hit the undead now.

Silver Crusade

Then the blade begins to hum and glow.

Init: 1d20 ⇒ 7 Joe
Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Frank
Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Artemis
Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Jellena
Init: 1d20 ⇒ 10 Sword
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 Ryada
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Delman
Init: 1d20 ⇒ 18 zombies
Init: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 snakes

Silver Crusade

The sword first thinks a thought to Joe, 'Say I have the POWER!'

The sword announces, "Undead scourge, we are here to destroy you!"

Silver Crusade

"Searching, searching... nope. No undead within 60 feet." emanates the firm male voice from the sword.

As Brandon checks, and finds a few auras in the rubble next to the library 30 feet away and about 20 feet down, somehow...

Silver Crusade

The voice resonates from the blade, "Yes, we have all been introduced. It's true not many have responded to me. But I have spoken before... many times, only recently have I begun to think to you. It takes more of a connection to do that..."

Silver Crusade

A loud Male voice comes from Joe, "And you thought I had secrets!!! Wait, the light saber. It could slice me in half! Joeseph!!!" The voice becomes hysterical with the last sentence said.

Silver Crusade

The sword sounds like it wakes up from a sleep with a loud yawn, then states in a bored voice, "Yes, still no threats, at least that I can see."

Silver Crusade

Responding back to Joe the voice staying even, "Well I suppose that is what it is."

Silver Crusade

Towards the end of Joe's training the sword pipes up, though not issuing orders he begins to instruct, "Now hold me just a bit higher. Hold your back foot to the right two more inches..." At the end of the lesson the sword relents, "I am sorry, I should not have said those words about your oath or her. I do want to make our relationship better so you can be the best paladin you can be. I realize I have not been the best example and need to work on expressing better, after all you can only hear our communication, not see it like most mortals do."

Silver Crusade

In an even quieter tone than Joe the sword replies civilily, "I had a hunch, this time I did not know, I was trusting the Mistress. Normally that won't happen."

Then in an almost astonished voice it spouts out, "You were forced?! No I think the shoe is on the other foot, you asked for me. If and when I bark orders you should listen, you are just lucky the blessing worked. If you can't take orders perhaps I don't need YOU! perhaps it would be better if you ravage her and throw your vows to the side." The last sentence said with a good deal of vehemence.

Silver Crusade

The sword pleasantly oohs and aahs as Joe polishes the sword. Once done it brings up the earlier conflict, "Joe I know your abilities better than yourself, please follow my direction in the future. How did your smite ability work out for you today?"

Silver Crusade

A bit startled the sword stops humming and responds, "De dum dum de... oh! Yeah... fine, just fine."

Silver Crusade

Over the din of your talking and any other noise you might hear... Perception DC 12... some light humming come from the sword and apparently not listening to the group.

Silver Crusade

"Yes sir." it simply responds.

Silver Crusade

A bit sharp but sincere the sword whispers, "Well thank you for your consideration. I would like a polish later."

Silver Crusade

Indignantly the sword relays, "I have done it before, my dedicated power to eliminate undead. Also as a side perk to rally his allies to his side before laying a boost on them."

Silver Crusade

"Time matters not. But the undead shall be SMITTEN!"

The sword's true power activates and calls all allies to its side then a greater positive pulse detonates turning the undead within 30 feet into dust.

3d6 + 15 ⇒ (1, 3, 5) + 15 = 24

Jellena, Delman, Frank, Ryada, and Artemis surround the paladin in a defensive formation as the holy energy dissipates.

greater positive pulse:

A grumbling can be heard coming from the blade, "Apologize, say you were wrong." It says simply.

Silver Crusade

Will Save DC 24, or activate smite on first attack.

The sword stops. Its light fades and stops making noise.

Silver Crusade

”Don’t be stingy with it man, use your smite on the first enemy that comes before you, or I will force you to use it!” the sword beligerently states.

Silver Crusade

"Hey wait! What!?" The sword blurts out obviously not fully focusing on the situation. Then to his creidt he yells, "OH YEAH, LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!! SMITING MODE ON! Joe smite the first one you see!"
