Joe quietly closes his eyes holding on to Lady Kol, and sends his mind into the golden sword on his back.
Excalibur! Can any of this be true? Is Avalon here on Arcanium? The paladin breathes as he asks the question he is hesitant to ask.
Do you know Avalon was on Arcanium?
Frank Steel

"How about that a Princess." He smiles "I wasn't aware there was a monarchy here. No matter I'm going to sleep with a princess."
He remains stoic and composed as she leads him to the room.
His instincts are to bite and rip the not asunder but he moves in softly running the tips of his claw along her exposed back as he pulls undoing the not with his other hand. He kisses the back of her neck where the knot was as he embraces her.
Frank pays close attention as she reacts to his touch. He is a selfless lover but can be aggressive and dominant. He is quite careful not to break her with his strength, but as she is a lycanthrope she is likely quite tough herself.
I think we can fade to black and fast forward to the morning when the others are ready.

"It is entirely possible, especially if this woman believes in it so much to practically abduct you. Though this is amusing so I didn't say anything before. Though you might want to ask her or even yourself some questions. Why is she helping you? Why is there such urgency? How long will this trip take? Is it really wise to run off with her on your own? Then again you have a crystal of homing right?"
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
Joe nodded to himself, taking in the magical sword's reason. "Hey!" the paladin shouted over the wind. "How far is Avalon from here, and why do I have to be there tonight?"
GM Wolf
"There is no royalty, that presides over New Faces. They are a neutral town with purpose and protected by the surrounding countries. I am from a country far from this town, that needs help." She explains a little.
As the tips of your claws run along her skin she shudders and pleasantly releases a sigh. Sounds good, do a str, dex, and con check. Dc 10, every five higher you perform better in that area.
GM Wolf
First she commands the carpet, "Slowest." She turns around to face you as the carpet slows down to 10 feet per round. Then explains, "I was... caught up in the moment. It has been the first time I got to do that in years. I also got away from my chaperones and overbearing goddess. Sorry about that but now we are so close! Look! The arches will send us to Avolon. Once we are through there at top speed we might get there in a few hours."
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
"You still didn't answer my question: Why do we need to get there tonight!" Joe pressed the swordwoman. "And who are you really? You say you were born Seelie. And who is your goddess that you want to get away from, if such a thing was possible?"
Artemis Eule
Artemis would think a little, before taking a deep breath as he slowly walks up towards Sven as Delman, "Excuse me, do you have a minute to spare or should I come back later?"
----
Artemis pauses before shaking his head, "No, no, its not like that, I'm just not physically inclined... nor have I really flown with someone else. That and I didn't really start off the ball in the best way possible."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
----
Artemis just would look at Jellena with an eyebrow raised before looking towards where Joe flew off too, giving a shrug as the Oracle leaves, "I'm gonna assume that Jellena has further knowledge about Joe that we don't and that is why she isn't as worried about him flying off as she seemingly was a few minutes ago." he says to Ryada. "I will bid you adieu, and I hope you have a wonderful evening and hope you will enjoy the rest of the ball." he says, giving a small bow before putting back on his cape as he reenters the mansion.
As Delman is... incapacitated at the moment, Artemis will put his faith in the sorcerer that he was able to mend his ties with the two ladies he inadvertently offended and before doing anything else, would look for the half-elf from earlier.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
If Artemis does find her, he will quickly say, "Look, before you walk off, when I walked up to you at the bar, I had no intention to make fun of you, or woo you, or anything like that. I just wanted to get a drink, make some small talk, learn a thing or two and have a productive evening talking to a fellow alchemist such as yourself. I'm not the best with words, and should have made my intent a bit clearer. If you don't want to talk, that's fine, but if you do, I only request that I take up a few minutes of your night."
GM Wolf
"I was excited... there is no reason we need to get there tonight. I am Morgan Le Fay." She waits for dramatic response then laughs. "Morgana is my chosen name, I always loved that character. Oh its nice to just talk with someone. Morgana Locke Kol of the Amazons, heir apparent of Hera. The stronger and more plentiful a God's familia is the weaker the God is as they must allocate resources to them. Though never becoming mortal they may appear mortal and do retain a body during the peak of their familia." She explains looking at you a bit confused. Then she vlurts out, "You haven't even been here a month have you!?!"
---
Sven looks at 'Delman' and says, "Sure, how can I help you?" If you indicate to go with you he does.
---
The girl in the blue hair says to Artemis, "I would have remember if you talked to me. Okay shoot, I couldn't care about most of these pretty boys anyway. I am Mercy, what is your name?" She offers her hand and the smile on her face seems genuine. Your blue scaled arm comes forward to hold her hand. You still don't have a description for me to work with.
Ryada
She looks at Artemis and simply says, "Its okay."
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
"I was excited... there is no reason we need to get there tonight. I am Morgan Le Fay." She waits for dramatic response then laughs. "Morgana is my chosen name, I always loved that character."
Ever so subtly, the paladin's stance changes to be more battle ready at the name Morgana La Fay, until she laughs.
"Oh its nice to just talk with someone. Morgana Locke Kol of the Amazons, heir apparent of Hera. The stronger and more plentiful a God's familia is the weaker the God is as they must allocate resources to them. Though never becoming mortal they may appear mortal and do retain a body during the peak of their familia."
Joe's eyes widen slightly. "That's a lot to unpack, Morgana La Fay. I imagine anyone wielding Excalibur would be a little jumpy around someone with that name. So you are an seelie amazon attached to Hera's familia. I can't imagine your views on men aren't very good."
"Well, since we are making full introductions", the paladin made a small courtly bow, "my name is Joseph Waskalis, human godling, minor officer of The Seelie Court, and soul paladin for The Mistress, Goddess of Life and Death. But my friends call me Joe."She explains looking at you a bit confused. Then she blurts out, "You haven't even been here a month have you!?!"
"It depends which time dilation you are referring to. Although I've only been on Arcanium for a little while, I've spent considerable time defending and researching it. And that's all I'm prepared to say on the matter."
"Listen, Morgana. Since we are so close, let's continue on to Avalon", the holy warrior suggested. "It's too late to go dancing at the ball, and if what you say is true, Avalon is a great place to get some answers."Joe steps back momentarily to motion the amazon to continue on their journey.
GM Wolf
"Well I was hoping you would get the irony of that name!" She laughs a little.
"Are you a Chosen too? My views on all people aren't very good. Though becoming an amazon was a requirement before becoming part of the familia." She simply explains.
"Time dilation?! Okay keep your secrets." She replies in shock and then mysteriously.
"Excellent choice Joe, though Avalon has been without a king for about a decade." She quickly throws out her arm to catch him just in case he lost his balance. Then once sitting again she commands the rug again, Fast!
Within minutes you are through the portal that has the feeling of teleportation, like your stomach was left behind and then quickly catching back up to you. A more intense feeling of when an elevator.
Its still night time but you can tell you are in a different land. Small lights show where houses are located. Which are far and few between but a lot more than New Faces. The outer reaches of New Faces had no lights for the last hour. In another hour of flight you see collections of lights, likely groups of houses and in the far distance you can see towns and cities. Then there is a dark patch and you can tell there are really tall tress here, as the rug flies higher to not need to swerve around them. About a half hour of that before it opens up and you can see the stars and moon below you in a perfectly still lake. Morgana points out, "Supposedly that is the lake that holds the lady Ninewe, who threw the sword Excalibur to Arthur." Another half hour to pass over the lake. Then you see the tall spires and the lights of a city. "I present Camelot!" She says with glee and continues, "Straight to the stone or to the castle proper?"

Joe stares down in awe at the many famous places both familia members soared over. Then the one thing the wielder of Excalibur thought he would never see. Camelot. Here. My God!
"Um..to the stone, please", Joe stammered in surprise.| GM Wolf |
She veered to the right and down. At your approach the water receded. A good 10 feet of water receded back into the lake, revealing a massive rock with armor, shields, and weapons secured to it. Though at the top it remained empty. There was a stirring up above. A good 50 feet above the sea level was a simple rope fence to allow viewing of the fabled Stone. A few people had already gathered and had called to others. A few fires were lit and with mirrors they reflected the light to see the duo ontop of a flying carpet.
Excalibur bane of Undead
|
Joe, stop! JOE STOP!Joe, I have to tell you something before you do it! I didn't think it was possible that Avolon or Camelot was possible here. That's not what I have to say...
I am not excaliber, I am Es-kal-a-ver. Though I am a mere intelligent sword in the shape and form of Excaliber, I don't know what will happen if you put me in there! I know, I know what I told you but every intelligent sword wishes they could be Excaliber.
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
Shocked to his core, Joe just stands there, admiring the famous stone. I can't believe you lied to me! After everything we've been though!
Joe motions to the amazon to speak away from the crowds. "Let's go", Joe whispered to Morgana. "I just found out I don't wield the actual Excalibur. We don't belong here. Can we please go back. I'm sorry to have run you all over Arcanium. I'll have to return here someday, but..let's go, please."
Artemis Eule
Sven looks at 'Delman' and says, "Sure, how can I help you?" If you indicate to go with you he does.
'Delman' would gesture and after making sure he is a bit out of earshot, would ask the Halfling, "I was doing some research regarding elementals, and ways to combat their elemental damage in a fight. I haven't been able to find any realistic option for gaining resistance to elemental damage, so I am wondering if you knew of a way - through alchemy - that one might be able to have full resistance to a specific element, say fire. Also, if there is a way to achieve such a feat through alchemy, would you say its possible for... Artemis to brew such a concoction?" 'Delman' asks as he looks at Sven.
---
The girl in the blue hair says to Artemis, "I would have remember if you talked to me. Okay shoot, I couldn't care about most of these pretty boys anyway. I am Mercy, what is your name?" She offers her hand and the smile on her face seems genuine. Your blue scaled arm comes forward to hold her hand.
Artemis just blinks a bit, not quite as sure what was the deal with Delman and his illusion, but now is not the time to dwell on such questions. Realizing she is done, Artemis shakes her hand a little before gently withdrawing his hand as he continues, "Well, the name is Artemis Eule, but I think we can forgo the use of my last name, everyone just calls me Artemis anyways."
GM Wolf
"How do you know? The waters retreated for you, do you think that happens for every Tom, Dick, and Harry? No! Aren't you a paladin. The one and only Soul Paladin of the Mistress. Dude, you hold a Holy Avenger in your hands and it sounds like Excaliber!" She says doing her best to hype you up!
---
Sven looks at 'Delman' with a look of almost befuddlement, wipes his face and then plays with his beard. "I suppose it is possible but why ask me about this now?"
"Well it is stragne to meet you Artemis, do your hooves feel like a foot or do you not feel much?" Mercy asks, not sure what to talk about and seeing your hooves goes with that.
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
Joe looks down at Excal..Eskalaver. "You've been there for me. I will be there for you. No matter what", the paladin spoke to the sword. With his back straight, the godling walked up to the stone, and drew Eskalaver, raising it above his head.
"I invoke the name of Alethia, Goddess of Those who Die Young, and The Mistress, Goddess of Life in Death. Alethia who gave me this sword to destroy the force of evil, and The Mistress who gave my new life a purpose. May this sword I yield always fight for the oppressed, the downhearted, and the abused! Bahamat! Heiroeneous! Cayden Cailean! All the Gods of Good, be with me here in this turning point!
FOR ARTHUR! FOR CAMELOT! FOR AVALON!!"
The soul paladin then jabs the golden sword into the stone.
Artemis Eule
Sven looks at 'Delman' with a look of almost befuddlement, wipes his face and then plays with his beard. "I suppose it is possible but why ask me about this now?"
'Delman' thinks briefly about his answer, "Well, to put it simply it has to do with the Dark Souls, 'Delman' whispers before continuing as normal, "My research has revealed some potential leads regarding that subject and I was wondering if enlisting Artemis to assist in my efforts would yield results should I be unable to follow up on my other potential leads. So... I figured that it would be better to ask now instead of further down the road." 'Delman' says, giving a small, tentative smile.
----
"Well it is stragne to meet you Artemis, do your hooves feel like a foot or do you not feel much?" Mercy asks, not sure what to talk about and seeing your hooves goes with that.
Artemis just takes the time to think that through, "A bit of both... I haven't really thought about that question too much...." with the main part of his reason coming over to talk to her a bit pointless, Artemis would follow through on his line of questioning from the bar, "Well, uh, tell me about this tablet that turns drinks into foam?"

After releasing her from her dress, Frank spins her around and sits her on the bed. Before jumping in bed with her he performs a little dance/striptease to heighten her mood even more.

GM Wolf
The sword goes into the rock and a spotlight from above appears... from the sky. All of the items in the rock begin to hum and you hear a strong bellowing male voice, perhaps even coming from the Stone or a god, "As the new King of Avolon, Joeseph, select one artifact to aid you in your rule. For selflessly bringing Joeseph here you may have one wish Morgana."
The crook is an 18-inch-long cane with a hooked head made of gold reinforced with blue copper bands. The flail is a 2-foot-long rod of gold, ending with three beaded strands of semi-precious stones. If you pick one, you get the other. They will help with direct ruling and leadership.
A solid gold crown upon a helmet. This crown will protect and make you a more aware ruler.
A golden simple chalice. This chalice will provide happiness and youth.
A silver almost mirror like shield. This shield will protect you from all threats.
A silvery wooden bow. Your people will not know starvation.
"I wish to have the power of Grayskull returned to me, BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL... I HAVE THE POWER!" As she transforms from the kinda scrawny woman before you into a super powered woman as a lightning strike hits her upraised sword. "Yes, that is much better, thank you Joeseph, shall I stick around?"
Wow! Frank is going to perform WELL!
Sven looks at you and shrugs, It would take a lot of research.
Ah yes, you must have saw it earlier, she says handing you a tablet. Then continues, It actually is making ice from the liquid.
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
Listening to the voice upon high, Joe knows he could use them all. In his sight, the paladin finally sees a shield worthy to be twinned with Eskalaver. The crown would show all he met of his station, purpose, and worth. Despite how different it is to see the egyptian crook and flail looks in a medieval fantasy setting, anything Joe could use to help direct his rule from a distance would be ideal. The chalice would have the least effect on his new rule, thanks to The Mistress's Youthful Draught.
"All these artifacts I desire greatly and would all enhance my ability to rule..", King Joseph began, "but I've have none of my subjects go hungry if I can help it! I choose the bow!"
He chooses the bow, but would like them all. Maybe as a reward for his first act as King of Avalon being his most benevolent, King Joseph would get them all?!!?!!
"You look much different from your cartoon, Princess Adora", King Joseph smiled. "If you don't mind, I'd like you to stick around until I get situated at the castle. But seriously" the paladin king looks down at the mousy woman before him, "what shall I call you?"
Also, Joe would try to pull his magical sword from the stone before he leaves.| GM Wolf |
"I should I am a real woman! Queen Adora works fine but so does Morgana, now that I have regained my power, my next move is to find a strong partner," she stops looking you up and down, giving you a tantalizing look."Then returning to my lands."
The bow comes free as pieces of the rock around it break apart easily. The sword slides out with no resistance. The crowd cheers as you pull Excalibur free.
She gets back on her rug and offers you a hand. Within moments you are above the cheering crowds. You can see that they look dirty, hungry, and without much pride or with need. To the castle gates she flies you. The draw bridge has been pulled up and you can see several gators in the water below. She lands and says, "Trust me flying over those walls is not a good idea. Even birds are fried. Assert your AUTHORITY!" She even makes the voice like major PAIN.
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
The new king steps off the carpet, and draws Eskalaver (now Excalibur?), pointing it high in the sky.
"Guardsmen of Camelot! Lower the drawbridge and allow your new king entrance to his new home!"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33 YESS!
GM Wolf
Morgana follows to your left but 5 feet back.
You walk over the drawbridge, under the porcullis and enter the courtyard with the guards. They stand at attention but a small ganglely weasel of a man comes up from the side. Sword still in its sheath and at his side, his hands are empty but wringling in nervousness. He quickly says, "Ah sire, you did get picked but by order of the regent we were told to bring up the drawbridge. We do hope you will keep on the management and support staff until you get settled into state affairs."
Being led by the weasel of a man or a guard, you pass through a garden, an inner wall gate house, another courtyard, another gatehouse, an even bigger courtyard with several gardens in it which leads up to the palace after 50 or more stairs. The palace staff and royal guards stand in lines obviously leading to the throne room. But first you go through the entry room, a large parlor, a massive banquet hall with a modest amount of dishes, some 20 dishes that each could easily feed a family of four, a courtroom of some sort, then into the proper throneroom.
Here you find royal guards with bo staffs, knights in armor but no weapons, nobles with empty sheaths and no weapons, men in furs and straps with daggers or clubs, women in silks and veils with no obvious weapons, a man in white monk garb on his left, three men in black monk garb on his right, then the regent on the throne. The regent throws up his arms saying, "See here comes another... imposter with likely magic as the last one."
The nobles murmur amongst themselves on the right side of the room as the knights on the left side of the room. The vikings or barbarians are spread out among the knights watching them wearily. The women in silks and veils are over with the nobles, some dancing, some sitting, as others serve. It is a massive throne room, bigger than the ball room of the mayor's in New Faces. Those in monk garb don't move.
An obvious knight steps forward to address the regent not get in your way, "Then have him prove it again with the stone here!" Pointing to a boulder on the knight's side. "Our magicians should see through any illusion and most of us should too, most of us are not commoners."
The regent agrees and waves his hand towards the stone.
Jellena Darkling
|
The night has petered off for the dance, as Jellena collects what is left of the Night Hawks at the mansion. Then walking back to the Temple of Death. With it in sight she stops rigid in her step, then in a few moments begins to breathe again. Ryada likey asks, "A vision?"
Jellena nods yes, after a few minutes to collect herself and writing things down in her journal on the side of the street she tells you after activating her ring, "Quickly, collect your gear and be ready for a fight. Meet at the teleportation room in the Temple of Death. I will catch up, go!"
She stops by the temple stock room before going down to the waypoint, teleportation room. As you get there she asks if you are fatigued, Fort DC 15 not to be fatigued especially since it has been a long night. Once everyone is there, awake, and armed she says, Joe needs us, or at least we will be there for him if he needs it. When the magic washes over you don't fight it.
You all brought your normal gear and dance gear to the temple beforehand, as a precaution.
Excalibur bane of Undead

Joe did I miss any allies?
There is a flash of blinding then your allies are around you. Jellena and Frank are before. Morgana still stands back 5 feet to your left. On your right is Midnight, the huge blue black tiger. Artemis, Delman, and then Ryada stand behind you, your artillery squad. Then the positive energy bursts forth as the sword you all know in Joe's hands screams, "DESTROY THE UNDEAD! LIVING THROW DOWN YOUR WEAPONS OR BE COUNTED AS AN ENEMY OF ESKALAVER! THE KING HAS RISEN AND YOU HAVE ALL BEEN FOUND WANTING!!!" OH YES THE SWORD HAS GONE BERSERK!
3d6 + 15 ⇒ (4, 5, 5) + 15 = 29
This spell causes a wave of positive energy to spread from you, damaging foes vulnerable to positive energy and bolstering living creatures. Each creature damaged by positive energy in the area (such as undead) must succeed at a Will save or take 3d6 points of damage, plus your caster level (+15). Haunts manifesting in the spell’s area also take this damage.
This spell does not heal creatures healed by positive energy; such creatures instead gain a +8 bonus on saving throws against death effects, energy drain, negative energy, and effects directly caused by haunts. This bonus lasts for 1 round.
Joe "Joseph" Waskalis
King Joseph quick draws Eskalaver and charges the regent.
Eskalaver (charge): 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 12 + 2 = 16
Dmg.: 1d8 + 8 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 8 + (1, 2) = 12 A shoddy showing.
Artemis Eule
Sven looks at you and shrugs, It would take a lot of research.
'Delman' nods, "I... thank you, I will continue my research, taking this information into account, thank you very much and have a nice evening." Fake Delman says, before giving a small nod and departing back into the crowd.
----
Ah yes, you must have saw it earlier, she says handing you a tablet. Then continues, It actually is making ice from the liquid.
Artemis blinks a little, "Ice?" he says, taking the tablet, "Does the tablet cause the liquid to freeze by absorbing its heat or does the tablet affect the liquid and change the composition of it, leading to it freezing at room temperature?"
----
Fort Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Artemis would yawn, stretching a little before shaking his head as he heads towards the teleportation room, "I do wonder why we didn't use this portal to start..." he says to Delman and Ryada, before looking up as Jellena comes back, "I'm good here," Artemis says when Jellena asks if they are tired, soon giving the thumbs-up, allowing the magic to do its work.

fort: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Fail, need a charge!
He answers Artemis, "It only works from one waypoint to another, then only waypoints you have been to, so maybe Joe will be coming to get us first? Everyone has a portal stone right? If not you should take one, just in case. There are some special portal stones that are called hearth stones, which allow you to teleport back to the waypoint it is synced with. I had lots of time in the library to read."
---
Round 1
He appears behind Joe, takes note of undead and pulls the dark black wood bow that has silver etchings on it in celestial. Then he casts shield upon himself.
Round 2
He focuses on one of the barbarians to see if it is evil... yup. He says over the ring, "barbarian I am targeting is evil." Though the arrow just drops as he fumbles with his bow...

Artemis just nods, grabbing a portal stone... just in case.
----
Round 1
Artemis just looks around, a little confused on who is actually evil/undead, just electing to wait and give those that are living time to throw down their weapons.
Round 2
Artemis just looks at Delman and as he fails to hit the barb, quickly represses the urge to laugh, soon aiming and firing at the same barbarian, "Bang, you're dead."
Alchemist Shot: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Round 1
She begins to sing in celestial to inspire the group.
An affected ally receives a +2 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +2 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.
Then she pulls the other bow from Delman's quiver.
Round 2
She does giggle a little at Delman's fumble but keeps the song going!

If my guard is down he probably wouldn't be aware of the magic. So I guess he wouldn't resist.
Round 1
Frank appears laying on the ground hands behind his head naked, fully let's say "aroused"...
"What the... Holy s! where? Joe, Jellena. Did I just teleport? G&&~it. I was with a princess. Some mother f'er is going to pay for this."
Frank gets up stretching.
"Any of you knights ever fought a half-dragon with a raging boner. Come get some."
Frank roars out.
Edit: Removed Round 2 actions until we see whats going on.
Wolf can we get a map on this one since there are so many possible enemies?
Jellena Darkling

She gets teleported into the room and releases the handle of Mjorinir.
Round 1
With her lightsaber in her other hand she turns it on as the black light comes crackling out. "Sorry to interrupt. I DIDNT know if you were coming... or not but I have presents!" She also moves her other arm around using her cloak to cover up the ground between them, then revealing his Padded Gambesson. "Just in case you need protection!" Then she winks at Frank before moving 30 feet up following Joe.
GM Wolf
Round 1
The regent screams out, HOW!? As his neck elongated by a few inches and his lower lip seperates in half and continues down to his Adam's apple. Opening to reveal a giant maw of teeth. He attempts to bite and attach to Joe. Two of the men in black monk wraps tear the masks off revealing similar massive mouths as the go after Joe.
All but one of the nobles drop to the ground. All but a dozen of the knights drop as well. The Vikings roar at the challenge. As the royal guard stand ready, in there positions, some move but only to cover the exits better.
Midnight growls and snarls, "Not much room to move, I will wait for them to come to me, and protect."
22 Vikings, a noble in red, the regent vampire, his two fellow vampires, and a dozen knights are obviously not standing down.
Map to be updated soon.

"I am Eskalaver Bane of Undead. There is no way you can block my divine detection. Let alone in my own country! By Merlin's beard you should have done your homework! Excaliber is probably my cousin. We were all created by the same divine and given different gifts. I have shown you my purpose but not his, Joe shall smite you now!"

Round 1
The Knights all raise their hands and say the prayer together, "In a Fearful Day, in Raging Night. With strong hearts full, our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the War of Light, look to the stars--For hope burns bright!" At that magical weapons of blue light manifest in their hands. Then they begin to slug it out with the Vikings.
The noble in red throws his left hand out as it holds his cloak. His right hand holding a glass of wine. With the dropping of his cape, some strange arcane words and a flourish a manacle appears next to one of the black vampire's leg, attached to it and the floor. The vampire falls hard face first into the ground.
The Vikings focus on the Knights. Two of them blow horns and soon you hear the rushing of footfalls.
Several of the nobles laying down begin to chant and cast spells, they appear to be directed at Jellena as four small red orbs fly towards her. They stop midair around her more-or-less and then explode. 4 Reflex saves DC 17, 17, 18, and 19,

When all seems lost in the War of Light, look to the stars--For hope burns bright!" At that magical weapons of blue light manifest in their hands. Then they begin to slug it out with the Vikings.

Joe winks quickly at the undead regent, as the target of his Undead Smite.Eskalaver (smite undead against regent): 1d20 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 12 + 5 = 23 I think that just hits.
Dmg.: 1d8 + 8 + 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 8 + (5, 3) + 4 = 23
Joe's AC does not include a shield, so it is currently 19, but Brandon has his Lesser Protective Aura (Su) cast on his paladin, so it's back up to AC 21. During the smite, Joe gets an additional +4 deflection bonus against the vampire regent.
