You have died and the gods have decided for one reason or another to give you another chance. This chance is to start anew as you are with a special ability in a mystical world of monsters and adventure.

It is an Isekai game, a reference to a situation in which characters find themselves transported to an alternate dimension or universe.

There is two walls of webbing. One above her and one that seperates her from the group. She is only 20 feet away from you with only 20 feet of web between you. Yes you were suppose to make the save.

Web:
Anyone in the effect's area when the spell is cast must make a Reflex save. If this save succeeds, the creature is inside the web but is otherwise unaffected. If the save fails, the creature gains the grappled condition, but can break free by making a combat maneuver check or Escape Artist check as a standard action against the DC of this spell. The entire area of the web is considered difficult terrain. Anyone moving through the webs must make a combat maneuver check or Escape Artist check as part of their move action, with a DC equal to the spell's DC. Creatures that fail lose their movement and become grappled in the first square of webbing that they enter.

If you have at least 5 feet of web between you and an opponent, it provides cover. If you have at least 20 feet of web between you, it provides total cover.

So Artemis is in the webs but not grappled. Frank and Joe charge into the webs hoping to get to her. Joe gets stuck in the webs but Frank is able to continue his charge. As Artemis gets a shot off hurting her before becoming fascinated.

So I was able to charge in on the surprise so are they off the ground then or on the ground? I posted That I was going to grab her and deposition her pulling her out and dropping her to the ground I should have cleared that up meaning that was the plan if they are above us. So I need to make just an attack for the surprise round as it seems they are on the ground.

Yes Frank, they are on the ground. I rolled your CMB so you get through the webs. I ignored the repositioning since it was conditional that she was up above.

Any fire can set the webs alight and burn away one 5-foot square in 1 round. All creatures within flaming webs take 2d4 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 points of fire damage from the flames.

Frank charges in and brutalizes her. As expected... she is dead.The two skeletons seem to shift and look at Frank. Then the horror of what they are comes to light. As skeletons begin to shift out of the host into each adjacent square but some command is activated and they explode in necrotic blasts. Will Save DC 18, two times. 5d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 6, 6) = 25 for the first and 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 3, 2, 5) = 19 for the second. It is a 30 foot blast so it affects Ryada, Artemis, and Joe as well. Jellena is on the fringe of it and can do a Reflex DC 18 first to see if she avoids the blast.

On the fried naga body you find a magical scroll case and some jewelry.
Brass rings, bracelets, and earrings; set with tiny red gems. In total the jewelry would be worth about 300 gp.

Stuck in the webs she shakes her head just enough to feel the wave of negative energy wash over her. She screams in pain and then is silent, hanging still in the webs as blood and bruises cover her body.

She is in the thick of it flanking the naga with Frank... Activating her dual nature she absorbs the negative energy and heals instead of taking damage. She thinks to herself, 'If only I could have done that for everyone!'

She then channels herself trying to negate some of the damage that was just poured over her allies. "Mistress, grant me the power to heal!" channel: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3will save DC 15: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

As her whole team is stable at this moment she focuses on her ring and sees who needs healing most. Who has fast healing?

She would go to Ryada and anyone else that is not healing on their own and first do a healing hex. 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Then she uses her 6 spells of cure light wounds. Please keep track: 1/6, 2/6, etc.

Once that healing is done she begins to loot, not finding much on the naga, and even less on the rest she begins to try to clean the area using prestidigitation.

Joe watches as the draconic warlord ends the naga's life. I thought she was a lamia? Brandon caws that he is free when the massive wave of negative energy washes over both godling and celestial from the snake woman's evil trap.

Artemis, were you hurt before she healed you here? I think this also might help Brandon. It persists for 3 rounds. So 7 temperary HP if you were at max HP.

She would have used the clear line to get to Ryada that Brandon had made. Easily scooping up the helmet and merely shaking her head. Still holding the helmet as she heals Ryada.

Frank takes 21 damage from the blast of negative energy. Jellena heals him for 3. As he hears Joe cry out he makes his way to Brandon freeing him and bringing him to Joe. He offers no words just extends his hand an places it on Joe's shoulder. He then takes note looking over to Artemis laying on the ground.

"Jellena is Artemis breathing? He doesn't seem to be breathing. I'm fine heal me last. I don't think any of us have fast healing."

He pulls away from Joe and roars and screams.

"F*&&ING DELMAN!!! YOU WILL DIE FOR THIS!"


The liquid and gore from the giant creature seems to be draining into the floor. Some of the boards slightly move to make drains. As invisible forces begin to slowly clean up the mess, it will obviously take a long time but you can see obvious work done.

Somehow my post was eaten up.
Once she is done helping Ryada she goes to Artemis to help mend his wounds with her healing magic, she tells Frank, "He is alive, just barely. It looks like our only loss was Brandon." With that said she focused on healing the group. Using up her channels and healing hexes she is able to max out everyone's HP. She has cure light spells still as they were not needed.

She identifies the scroll as being warded from magic and opening it she finds a map. Pointing it out to the group she sees lots of markings on it.

Eventually she finds her lightsaber.

Artemis just groans, coughing a little and groaning from the ground as he curls up a little, as he loudly sighs, "F*ck... why... why did I think it was a good idea to stick close to the action..." he says, lifting his torso up and rubbing the back of his head, briefly stopping to look at his hand before continuing, "Such an idiotic move..."

Once Frank uses his mighty talons to free Joe, the paladin thanks the warlord in a weird tone. Joe then frantically looks around, searching for Brandon.

Frank just sits in silence not really knowing what to say. He let's Joe work through his process. He is happy Artemis is alive and Ryada seems to be safe and back to normal, but unhappy with the loss of Brandon. He awaits the others to be ready before they continue their search for Delman.

She offers the remains to Joe. Realizing that he is still deaf she sees if there is something she can do for him. Shaking her head she pulls out her holy text to look up spells.

Joe gives a small smile of thanks as Jellena carefully hands him Brandon's remain. Eyes watering once more, the paladin carefully walks over to the resting Ryada. Talking a little bit more loudly than normal, Joe enunciates, "Are you okay?!"

She nods but doesn't speak. You can tell there is a lot of thoughts going through her watching her face. Then she realizes what is in Joe's arms and hugs him, crying.

She walks off to help the cleaning process, find her lightsaber and any loot. Soon she returns to the group motioning for them to follow as well as saying, "Come along we should return to the core library."

Moving back to the core library with trepidation... you quietly move and find very few obstacles in your path. Most are easily avoided, unless you want to whack a zombie goblin or medium sized skeleton.

Either way you get to the Emerald room with ease.

As the Night Hawks return to the Emerald room she keeps her eyes out looking for loot they had left behind.

She collected the jewelry and scrollcase from the naga. Then seeing coins and the shimering armor she gets them and puts them in the folds of her cloak. Grabbing the master craft weapons and if more than 2 hands them to the others. Everyone gets one MC weapon. It does need to be made of metal.

after the blinding light fades you can see coins falling to the ground with a few helmets, the shimmering armor, and a few master craft weapons made only of metal.

At the Emerald room door she looks at Joe, then thinks better about it. Looking at Frank she asks, "Would you please put your emerald up to the door to unlock it."

"Jellena can you identify this? If it is Mjölnir I need to know what it can do. I should be able to throw and have it return. Possible even call it and have it fly to me. It should amplify my lighting possibly as well but as we are in a world based on RPG games I'm not sure what it can do."

He holds it out for her to examine.

She nods to Frank at his question. She goes to hold it, if you do, it falls heavily to the ground.

She looks upon the warhammer and all the runes upon it. Cautiously she touches it and relays, "This is Mjölnir. Apparently you are worthy. Only said if she held it for a split second. It is a legacy artifact. You will need to unlock it by doing quests and such. Right now it was completely open for your heroic show. Now it is just a +1 Warhammer. The next quest you must undertake is..."What was Thor's first burden? I will look it up. She knows though and tells you.

Despite his grief, Joe looks on at Mjölnir with wonder. I wonder if I'm worthy? The paladin takes a handsome MW dagger as his weapon of choice.

You are in a black hall, with black marble floors and black drapes. You don't see any light source and yet you can see. Then you turn around and she is sitting in a white stone throne. She whispers to you, "the spirit you know as Brandon will return to you. Your oracle is very faithful to you. To make him stronger you will have to accomplish a feat and burn the corpses of the plague cultists to the South of the Red Salt Mountains within the eye of the drinking wheel of Cithaeron."

Frank's dream:
Your first labor is to kill the Lion of Cithaeron. You see a tall mountain of blood red stone. Each step you take leaves a trail of bloody steps. With its death its pelt can be traded to an oracle for the unlocking of your warhammer's first ability.

Jellena's dream:
The lion shall fall by acid and lightning. Glowing amethysts mark the resting place of the true reward.

Delman's dream:
The naga Kristelle again smiles at you from across a chasm. You feel her caress again. You hold a bone vial, you take off the cork and within is a glowing blue gem. Looking up you see her face turn to horror.

Artemis's dream:
The Fire Rainstorm cultists are looking for you. The key will be found and used to open the vault. Beyond the doors lie a Dark Soul. You need to find fire resistance by then or your hide will be the Devil's.

Joseph's Dream:
Joe immediately bows before The Mistress. "Thank you for a chance to bring Brandon back, even though I'm not worthy of it. The unconscious Delman was placed inside the emerald cauldron by Jellena and Joe before the battle heated up.

Joe your deafness was fixed with her first spell of the day.

She appears to have roused before anyone else. She was reading in her massive holy text. You wake up to a muted smell of breakfast burritos, as they are wrapped in a blanket. Opening the food maker you find your preferred coffee, one for each of us.

She puts the book to one side. Looks at Joe with a smile. Then pulls out the treasure map. "Yes there is a Cithaeron on the map. Here see." she says as she points it out."Lion you say? We might want to focus using lightning and acid on it."

Once everyone is awake and coherent, likely after breakfast and jo, she makes a suggestion, "We should stay here for about a week. We all have lots of research and training we need to do. I want to make sure the naga doesn't rear her ugly head again. Make sure the library is secure. Finally most importantly that we are all healthy and ready to fight again."

He offers new towels and amenities to help anyone freshen up. The door is wide open and any questions to it he mentions, "All is safe in the core library for now. The pool is ready if you want to freshen up." He is acting like a humble servant.

He didn't want to wake up. Too much to do. But Joe, Godling Paladin of The Mistress, didn't want to wake up. It took several minutes for then holy warrior to realize he could hear movement around him. That startled him into consciousness. His eyes focused are looked upon the sleeping shoulder of the elven bard, Ryada; hearing her sleep. Even unconscious, Ryada breathing was more lithe and agile. Joe then heard a different sound of another being breathing inbetween the paladin and bard. Joe looked down by his waist and smiled so hard the godling thought his face would split.
"B-Brandon!" There he was, just as The Mistress said, but the cassassian angel was in his black pug form. Joe shot upright and grabbed the small celestial and hugged him, scratching his back and belly like it was a real dog.
Joe looked around and saw Jellena and Frank were awake. The paladin held up the black pug. "Hey guys! The Mistress brought Brandon back!"

"Well I'm good for two lightning blasts a day. I need to kill the lion to awaken powers in Mjölnir. I'm wondering about Megingjörð? It's the belt of power Thor wielded to double his strength. It's what I asked the mistress for when we came here. It currently is enhancing my strength a bit like a strength belt. It let me harness lightning once in one of our fights. I wonder how to awaken more of its power? Jellena can you pray or commune on it maybe?" He then looks to Delman.

"Thanks man. I'm going to have a dip then." Frank strips down and heads over to the pool.

"I can spend a week here. Should we set the times to make it only a few hours on the outside?" Joe calls out excited.

"Awesome Joe. Dogs are awesome. If I could look like a celestial I would choose Hound Archon. I really dig some of the art on them from our books back in our old world."

Megingjörð spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 2 = 29 Only researching for 2 hours a day.
Mjölnir spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 2 = 11
Mjölnir spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 4 = 13
Mjölnir spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 6 = 30

Megingjörð. Legacy Artifact. There are two quests associated with it. When a quest is done the reward is unlocked.

Quest: Thunder Lord: You must ascend to the top of a mountain or be among the clouds and stay there a week. Learning the currents of electricity.
Reward: You can cast lightning bolt 1/day more than usual and gain other minor electrical powers. Look up several options of 2nd and lower spell like abilities.

Quest: Double Down: You must clash with an Earth Elemental at least two sizes larger than yourself. You must hold it still for 10 rounds as it opposes you in a grapple. If it 'moves' more than 5 feet in that time then the time restarts. I am also open to other suggestions.
Reward: You lose the +4 to strength but instead your strength score is doubled. Enhancing your strength to a maximum of 50.

Mjölnir. Legacy artifact. Now it is just a +1 Warhammer.
Quest/Labor: To kill the Lion of Cithaeron. Its pelt can be traded to an oracle for the unlocking of your warhammer's first ability.
Reward: Returning ability.
Quest: 2
Reward: +2 Warhammer of returning, +10 feet of range
Quest: 3
Reward: +3 Warhammer of returning, +20 feet of range
Quest: 4
Reward: +3 Warhammer of returning, +30 feet of range, When the bearer hits with the hammer as a thrown attack, it emits a powerful clap of thunder, causing all creatures within 90 feet to be stunned for 1 round (DC 15 Fort negates); the wielder is not immune to this effect.

Synergy bonuses: Mjölnir gains giant bane ability if you wear Megingjörð. Then Mjölnir gains Thundering when Megingjörð's quests are accomplished.
Megingjörð. gains E Resist 10 for each level Mjölnir gains with you; 4th level you become immune to E; 2nd level you also gain fly for 10 minutes per level as the spell.

She spends most of the first day researching the library and getting the time fixed. The second day she lets in the servants and Castria into the library.
On the third night at dinner she offer to the group, "It looks like everything is repairing. Any books damaged in the fight have been appearing on the shelves where they should have been before the fight. Thus no knowledge was technically lost."

Here are some points, Joe wished to accomplish during the week of research and training:

* After the busy morning of the first day, the paladin was cleaning his magical sword. "Excalibur, how have you been? Looks like inbetween helping Jellena research topic about the library, we can concentrate on some sword drills or any other regiment we'd like to try."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30

* During the week, Joe asks Delman and Jellena to sit down with them so he can tell them the tale of the dream he had in The Seelie Court and all the details he found out in the dream about both the oracle Jedi and the paladin warlock.

Excalibur:
The paladin considers the offer and understands. "Yes, more Smite Undead would be best, since the majority of our enemies have been undead. Now I forget, are the Smite Undead abilities separate from my own Smite Evil abilities?" I'm adding this abilitiy to Joe's character sheet for better reference.

Here is the original posting of the Fey Dream, but I'm having a difficult time finding what you added to it; mainly that Jellena an Delman are also considered members of the Seelie Court as well, by Queen Titania.

And do you remember that the Night Hawks left to guard and supply The Library a week ago, game time. And that the Adventure's Ball was to start in one week. So we missed the ball, and our chance as an adventuring party to go up in rank, because the Night Hawks researched and secured the Library after the attack. Something I came across while researching the Fey Dream.
