"In these lands it is best to call me Queen Adora. It is good to meet you now that you are clothed, Frank. Same to you Princess Bridget," she says simply and nods at each of you.
"Yes it is the power sword of Grayskull. Yes I am from Earth, I fell in '89. But think, for you to weild the sword of omens you would have to be a catfolk or of the like. Hahaha." She laughs now in a better mood thinking on better times.
"No worries Frank, I did tell you to feel at home. Thank you, I will take but a few minutes. I did not have the power until I brought Joe here. The one who brings a true king to Avalon will be blessed with a miracle or a wish. I need champions, there are dark forces that control Eternia. I am here to help King Joeseph and once I find champions I can trust I will return home." True to her words she emerges in a simple blue flowing robe, sandals, and the bare power sword in her right hand.
Then she continues, "One of the Dark Souls is my Skeletor. One of the strongest ones. So if the Night Hawks plan on eliminating the Dark Souls, I will gladly have you as champions."
"You are welcome to hire or take the men here. I just cut off the head of the snake and those too stupid to not know when to stop, the ogres." She offers.
She then adds, "Just finished with a bit of cleaning but before that I took out the ogres and the leader of this little camp. I got bored and thought I could do it on my own. The cleaning only involved their blood."
Joe activated his ring. "Your majesty, as much as I appreciate your assistance in Avalon matters, you must understand you are a guest in my kingdom and your safety is paramount. That being said you allowed my soldiers not to lose their lives in this venture, and for that I am thankful. I'm ordering the army to rendezvous with you to secure the site, unless there are any other obstacles I don't know about."
"It should be fine, they were told to stand down." She relays.
Soon enough the Night Hawks and the two groups of soldiers hold the bandit camp. Though in the mean time Princess Bridget goes around and starts recruiting.
"Alright. The next step is see how much of Filderson stands and see what aid they will need from Camelot", King Joseph decides.
The captain of thw Grwen Dragons pulls Joe to the side and whispers, "Sire, Filderson is the village behind the wall. I know many might not know but I have been there before."
Leaning into the Green dragon captain, Joe adds, "I wish to check any outlying areas, and the general health of any surviving villagers. I wish to be thorough, knowing I didn't miss any detail."
He nods, whispering back, "Sounds good!" Then he announces, "Green Dragons we will be heading South West. We will check any outlying areas, and the general health of any surviving villagers."
As the Green Dragons march to the south, the paladin king looks around the area for a place to sit and looks around. "I found out today that Filderson was without support for weeks while the vampire regent ruled Camelot", Joe said to then others. "These poor people. Here on Avalon's outskirt..it's wilderness, with no help in sight. Who knows. There might be enough people to keep Filderson functioning. Being a concerned monarch and a Dark Soul-destroying Night Hawk may be the hardest thing I've ever had to do."
Artemis just blinks a bit, not quite expecting that and being a bit deflated as it turns out that his assistance as a sniper and the bringer of lead onto foes isn't needed. As the Night Hawks begin to secure the bandit camp, Artemis looks towards Delman, "Guess my services were not needed."

"No problem Queen Adora. Skeletor huh. I'm guessing not a funny or foolish as the cartoon one. If he is one of the dark souls you will have my aid at least when the time comes. I can not speak for the others, you will have to ask them yourself." He then looks to the princess.
"Well do you wish to recruit the rabble that is left here?"
Frank laughs as Joe shows concern for the queen.
"Joe she has the power sword. Did you never watch HeMan. I don't believe she was in any danger here. Maybe you have a crush on her huh buddy? She does need champions to go beat down skeletor. I told her I would help. I'm pretty excited if there is an Evil-Lyn, Beastman, Trapjaw, MerMan. This crazy place always keeps amazing me."
She left your side once Adora gave her permission and has been recruiting.
"Uh, Delman", King Joseph spoke up quickly. "May I please have a drink from your grail?"
Using both hands, the paladin godling still had some trouble holding Delman's grail, but was successful in bring the cup to the young king's lips and taking a quick but extremely refreshing sip.
"So that's it?" Joe asked his grinning colleague. "Eternal youth?" The holy warrior began to grin. "To be in my physical prime, for the rest of my life. Wow."

"Oh uh, Joe... you need to kill an undead soon or you are not going to like the consequences. My drawback has been activated now that you are king. You need to destroy and undead each day or you will start suffusing of positive energy. Its kinda like radiation on Earth. Little bits of it and you should be fine but if the leak is too big, well. Sorry. Using your smite evils would work too just not effectively."
Artemis just nods, waiting for Delman to finish up with Joe as he pales just a little as he just silently hopes that Joe doesn't become the next Chernobyl while he is anywhere close to the Half-Fiend. "Well, I... I'm sure we can find an undead everyday... Anyways, Delman you said you wanted to look around?" Once the duo gets a move on, Artemis would just silently stick beside Delman on his right humming a little tune to himself.

"Only mid-morning yet. We have a lunch date back at new faces. Jellena can you send us back?"

The paladin let out a sigh of disappointment. "And here I was happy to revel in my Eternal Youth for less that 5 minutes. It's all the more reason to have a long chat with Merlin when he/she returns."

"I am aware of Queen Adora's request for aid, but I've yet to discuss Princess Bridgette's call for aid. Hopefully a little later today."
Looking to the Warlord of Thunder, King Joseph asks, "What plans did you make at the ball and with who? I'm not even halfway through my first day as King, so I cannot attend.""Frank, since you are returning to New Faces, I'd like to ask two small favors. If anyone asks what happened last night to me and Lady Kol, please relay the truth. And if you meet the Lord Mayor, please tell him he is the first person I wish to see when I can return to New Faces again."

"Look Joe, I'm not saying don't be king but our mission is to destroy the dark souls that plague the land. We are supposed to meet with Grand Master Thraddic. He said to bring all the Night Hawks as he has information and is willing to discuss the dark souls. Very few seem to speak of them so I took him up on the offer. Appoint a regent if you must but unless there is a dark soul burdening Avalon my business is done here. I came to make sure Jellena and the rest of you were safe. I will return for the meeting and see what I can find out. I will return here and see what your and the others plans are. Try not to go off to thwart any other revolutions while I'm gone." He smiles. Then calls out.
"Princess...Princess Bridgette... I'm returning to New Faces for lunch. You coming or staying here for now? I will return as soon as I can."
Joe face hardens and takes a step toward the half-dragon.
"Listen! I would have gladly gone with you to your meeting with Thraddic, but then , in case you didn't notice, my entire existence changed in one night! And Avalon is in such a state because of the last Regent. I'm trying to balance both my old responsibilities with the new! It sounds like the rest of the Night Hawks should go though, especially if Thraddic does have Dark Soul locations. I'm sure the wizard will understand the extraordinary circumstances; and if he doesn't, that sounds just about right from what I heard about him!"
The two friends stare at each other between the growing rift between them.

"What do you mean send you back?" She asks a bit confused.
"Joe are you sure you want me to go?" She offers obviously wanting your input but her face says she could care less either way.
"Princess...Princess Bridgette... I'm returning to New Faces for lunch. You coming or staying here for now? I will return as soon as I can."
She walks forward with two dozen individuals behind her, most of them men and likely bandits. Then she announces, "That would be great! Can I bring along some of my new minions?"
"Joe, are you sure you want me to go?" She offers obviously wanting your input but her face says she could care less either way.
The paladin smiled warmly. "Jellena, you've been a woman who always does as she pleases. So, it is ultimately your decision. Frank says Grand Master Thraddic wanted to meet all the Night Hawks, and you've been our 'den-mother' more times than I can could count. Plus, you seem to ask the right questions and 'acquire' the right answers. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for all of us and we can tackle this problem together."
Looking around to the others, Joe adds, "If the Green Dragons come back, and give us the 'all-clear', I have to return to Camelot and complete more head-of-state duties that I left to attend to Filderson."
Artemis just hums a little, "Sure, screw it why not." Artemis says beginning to try and open one of them, "Either way, its no matter if its Adora or Joe, the Night Hawks basically are in charge of the camp."

"King Joseph, you can head back to the capitol, with the help of the two companies, the guard of the wall, and those adventurers I will keep things under wraps here." She offers.
King Joseph nods at the warrior queen. "Adora, I shall wait for The Green Dragons to return with their report; so I can send whatever supplies this community needs. They have been under siege for weeks."
"I shall accept your offer to manage operation in Filderson. I will be sending the mayor back here as soon as I arrive. Please work with him to help the village ready for dusk. So far, I think the situation was been resolved..by you. Besides, do you intend on spending the rest of the day here, Queen Adora?"
"Thank you I will do my best to rule it as any benevolent ruler in your stead with the help of the mayor. Yes I plan on staying until all my new men have appropriate duties, or are handled appropriately. It sounds like many of them have already left and Princess Bridgett is taking a dozen or two with her. This camp seems almost too prepared, I will see exactly what they have in all these crates and chests. I am sure they will be used for the betterment of the village. I will send a list once I have taken stock of both camp and village." She offers.
Once people begin moving again she walks around looking for her men.
Artemis just frowns as he takes a bell out, mouthing out something before looking towards Delman, "Who the hell... needs thirty bells? Thats my question..."

"Look Joe you think you're doing good and right now you probably are. How do you think all the Dark Souls came to power here. They were people from Earth just like us. Just saying remember why we were sent here. Not to play at being kings and such." He looks to Jellena.
"Send us back to New Faces with a waypoint thing. Are we not on a different plane of existence here?"

"Playing king?!" The godling paladin grabs Frank's shoulder and pulls it aside so the warlord is facing Joe once more. "PLAYING KING?!!"
"How fu<king DARE you think I've forgot my duty to my Goddess! Destroying Dark Souls has been at the foremost front of my mind since we got here to Arcanium! I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd be standing in Avalon, much less become a KING!! But I'm here! I WAS ASKED to serve! Who says you can't seek the destruction of Dark Souls, AND be king!"
Furious, the holy warrior grabs the collar of the half-dragon's armor and pulls the warlord closer. "Unless The Mistress comes down herself and tell me to abandon Camelot, I will continue to serve as it's king! But I'm also a Night Hawk. My duties are clear! I just now have more of them!"

"Whoa, whoa, WHOA! Joe you need to calm down! I am sure Frank didn't mean it like that. We are all here to help each other!" Yes she slams her self in-between the two of you,
Once the two of you are seperate and she takes a few calming breathes with her hands out to each of you she adds, "You know I speak for the Mistress and she is fine with Joseph being king. It should give us more weapons for our arsenal. Also if each of you wanted to claim some land or even a kingdom that is your choice. The Dark Souls are not going anywhere and are staying in their lands. We will get to them sooner than later but it will still take time, possibly years."

Frank laughs.
"Passionate I see. Good. Maybe being a paladin will help. Time will tell. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'm just saying the Dark Souls came here just like us. Maybe they were given gifts like us as well."
Frank backs up when Jellena steps in.
"Everything is fine Jellena. I'm not even mad. Just keeping things in perspective. I'm no king. I can barely take care of myself let alone the well being of others. I will however fight for those in need and continue to destroy the evil in these worlds Because that is what heroes do." He smiles knowing he is quoting Thor from the Thor Ragnarok.
"Alright so how do I get back to New Faces then? Can someone open up a waypoint? Don't I need a beacon to get back here? A class or something on how all this travel works would be helpful."

Jellena is glad one of you two is keeping calm and then answers Franks question, "The easiest way to get back is by using the waypoint you used coming here. Yes you will need a beacon but Delman and Ryada have beacons and they likely will be going back with you. Each beacon can take up to 8 people at once. Also I am not sure how the guards will respond to you bringing... Bridgett's men back with you. So make sure to go to the Temple of Death in New Faces. It is rather elementary once you begin using it more frequently."

Frank smiles at Jellena.
"Thank you. I will see you soon. You too Joe. See you soon. Alright anyone going back to New Faces. The bus is leaving. Let's go. Frank has a lunch date."
Frank will wait and help gather whatever Bridgette's men are brining. When ready he will lead everyone back to the waypoint he used to get here.

He continues searching the chests and crates with Artemis. We keep finding more exploring materials. "Artemis, don't you think it is strange to have such supplies here unless they plan to do some spelunking or something?"
Frank as you finish packing the men's stuff you notice that Artemis and Delman are still nowhere to be seen.
Artemis just looks at Delman, thinking a little and shrugging, "I mean... I'm not an expert at spelunking so... but I don't think you use bells to explore caves, do you?" he says, giving a big shrug. Stopping to listen to Frank, Artemis looks back towards Delman, "Got anything else you want to do real quick or should we head back?"
"Thank you. I will see you soon. You too Joe. See you soon. Alright anyone going back to New Faces. The bus is leaving. Let's go. Frank has a lunch date."
"I'll leave the light on for you", King Joseph said with a small smile. As the Night Hawks gather to leave, the godling paladin says goodbye and wishes them a safe journey back. Meanwhile, Joe keeps an eye out for the return of the Green Dragons.
The Green Dragons and the Crimson Griffons return about the same time they each left the bandit camp together then split to cover more ground. They return with reports of wilderness, there were a few farmsteads that were small and unaffected by the bandits. It seems their goal was Filderson. They did round up a few bandits that were still in the area.
This was several hours after Frank left.
Frank, Artemis, Delman, Ryada, Princess Bridget, and the sourly crew of about two dozen men leave for the mountain pass. There most of them get shuttled to New Faces, Bridget offers to collect the rest of them.
