What exactly the possessor is, is unknown. It has apparently resurrected dead humans in the past and "followed them back", possessing their bodies at night. Symptoms of the creature possessing someone include amnesia, catatonia, suicidal depression, twitching, seizures, loss of muscle control, and occasional fits of violent behavior. They often speak or scream in an unnatural voice, and lights will often flicker and go out when the creature is in control. It will use the body until it dies, resurrecting it when necessary. With each resurrection, the creatures hold on the body increases, eventually pushing the original occupant out, and controlling it even during the day. It uses the possessed to feed on the living, grabbing them by the head and howling. Black smoke pours from the victims mouth, and they see the screaming faces of the monsters previous victims. When it lets them go, they have black lines running from their mouths, and are generally unresponsive. They have great difficulty walking and breathing, and within the day usually expire due to being unable to breathe. It is possible this is how the creature feeds, as it seems to use this ability to go on mass killing sprees, at one point claiming it wants "all of you" (referring to humans). It may use this to switch to a new body as well, as there are hints that it can bring back those who have died incidentally, or by their own hand, but when one of it's bodies is deliberately slain, it stays dead.

The Possessor is never seen. It is often represented by a spiral, usually a cloud of spiraling darkness. A current victim in the film has various newspaper clippings about mass deaths, with the victims having open mouths with black lines radiating from them. There are also pages from an old book in Sanskrit that discusses a dark being, shown as a towering, gaunt, clawed figure with a spiral instead of a face. It can sense the thoughts of it's host, and communicate with it, and sometimes it's host can read it's thoughts as well. It seems to understand the languages spoken by it's host as well/

Devour (Su): When it has possessed a body, and is Grappling a creature, the Possessor can try to devour it's life. As long as it succeeds in Grappling it's opponent, the opponent must make a DC 20 Willpower Save (Save DC is Charisma based) or lose 1d4 points of Dexterity, Constitution and Charisma. If any of these scores drops to 0, the target dies. If it is let go, or manages to escape, and has an ability score at half or less it's normal value, the target must make another Save each hour, or die, unable to breathe. If it survives long enough to heal one point of ability damage, it will slowly recover. The Possessor may be able to use this to switch bodies, when it's current one is wearing out. If such is the case, if the target dies, the Possessor may opt to inhabit it's former body.Targets who die have their souls eaten, and to use Raise Dead, or any of the Resurrection spells, Wish or Miracle must first be cast.

Possession (Su): Once per round, a Possessor can merge its body with a creature on the Ethereal or Astral Plane. This ability is similar to a magic jar spell (caster level 10th or the Possessor's Hit Dice, whichever is higher), except that it does not require a receptacle. To use this ability, the Possessor must try move into the target's space; moving into the target's space to use this ability does not provoke attacks of opportunity. The target can resist the attack with a successful 22 Will save (save DC is Cha based). A creature that successfully saves is immune to the Possessor for 24 hours, and the Possessor cannot enter the target's space. If the save fails, the Possessor vanishes into the target's form, and may then reach across to the Material Plane to Resurrect it's targets body. Initially it is only in control from dusk till dawn, but every time it Resurrects the body, it permanently gains an extra 1d4 hours per day it can control the host body. Once it has 24 hour control, the original hosts spirit is devoured. To use Raise Dead, or any of the Resurrection spells, Wish or Miracle must first be cast. When the host is in control the Possessor can still cause it problems if it fails a DC 22 Will Save (Save DC is Charisma based). If the host fails, roll 1d6.

1: Dissociation. The host feels emotionally numb, confused and disoriented. The host has a -4 Morale Penalty on all attack rolls, ability or skill checks or saving throws.
2: Seizures. The host begins shaking, sometimes even going into violent convulsions. If the host experiences duress or stress, it must make a DC 15 Willpower Save, or fall to the ground and be Stunned for 2d6 Minutes.
3: Amnesia. The host cannot remember it's name or any information about itself. To recall any information about it's past it must make a DC 20 Willpower Save.
4: Catatonia. The host doesn't move or communicate. The host cannot speak, and will not move unless ordered to (and it makes a DC 15 Willpower Save).
5: Depression. The host is too depressed to do much of anything but weep. The host has a -4 Morale Penalty on all attack rolls, ability or skill checks or saving throws.
6: Fits of Violence. The host randomly attacks people. Anytime someone angers the host, or makes loud noise, sudden movements, or there are bright, flashing lights, the host must make a DC 15 Willpower Save or attack the source of their anger/fear.

Painful Scream (Su): When it possesses a body, the Possessor can unleash a hellish scream for 5 rounds (a number of rounds equal to it's Constitution modifier) as a Standard Action. Any creature within 60 feet of it that can hear it must make a DC 20 Fortitude Save (Save DC is Charisma based), or be Dazed and Deafened as long as the scream continues. Once the scream ends, it must wait 1d4 rounds before screaming again.

Resurrection (Su): When it's host body dies via any means other than being slain, the Possessor can cast Resurrection to bring the body back to life. Unlike normal, it can Resurrect someone unwilling, and generally needs the body to be fairly intact. It can also Resurrect the body if old age takes it. The DM will need to decide if it can fix a body if it has been murdered, as there is a possibility it cannot. The host body still loses a level, eventually burning out, requiring the Possessor to find another one.

Combat: For all it's guile, once it goes on a killing spree the Possessor isn't subtle. It just walks up to whoever is available, grabs them, and inhales their soul, before repeating the process. If it's body is killed, it just possesses one of it's victims, who 'somehow miraculously survived'.

Clyde looks up at the huge man before him and strokes his chin. Looking for me? I must say that is a question that many people have asked themselves. Looking for oneself is debated by philosophers all across the land. He looks at the lady on his arm. Do such questions keep you awake at night? Who am I, where am I going? Ah...a fine glass of wine and a cool night would be an excellent place to engage in such debate.

So elves (and orcs) are some kind of alpha species that can interbreed with anything, including automatons, poppets and skeletons? Are they now some kind of supercharged fantasy versions of asari from Mass Effect?
Your GM is free to rule in favour of restricting mixed heritages to humanoids only, but I'm gonna be honest, putting a mixed heritage on a former-Humanoid ancestry like Skeleton or Automaton mostly seems like a fun way to flavour having originally been an elf or orc, without having to futz about with Adopted Ancestry. As for poppets, maybe you were made by and in the image of whichever ancestry you take?

Check out 'Horny Bard' on TVTropes for examples you might be interested in. even rocks get in on the action.

I think this is P2 compatible .

THE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER (Warlock Patron)
Once upon a time, you were arguing with your good buddy Jethro. Jethro was a "Warlock" of an "Archfey". He was arguing with Jethro, because only Jethro had supposedly seen his Mistress, and she was otherwise unseen, unfelt, and her existence was impossible to prove. Any test you could imagine he had an excuse for. "She doesn't like being seen." "She won't appear in front of non-believers." "I'm not an academic or a Priest, where else would my magic come from?"

The gist of your argument becomes "Anyone could declare themselves a Warlock and gain magical powers then. I could say "I'm a Warlock of the Flying Spaghetti Monster." and, boom, supernatural powers." Jethro wasn't exactly happy with this state of affairs and dared you to try it. So you wrote up an entire description of your "Master" and it's intentions, and what powers it granted you. Everyone thought it was funny until it worked.

Suddenly, people who called themselves "Pastafarians" had access to magic granted by an invisible, immaterial and un-provable being(s), with no apparent oversight. This led to some concerns. If any one could declare they had a set of powers granted by a mystic being for agreeing to follow it's particular ethos, and then it never appears to intervene, even for violations of that ethos, then something was severely bad with reality. So you plunked a pasta strainer down on your head and set out to find the truth.

EXPANDED SPELL LIST
At 1st Level you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a Warlock spell. The following spells are added to the Warlock spell list for you.

Spell Level Spells
1st: Ceremony, Magnify Gravity
2nd: Blindness/Deafness, Blur
3rd: Nondetection, Pulse Wave
4th: Evard's Black Tentacles, Greater Invisibility
5th: Mislead, Modify Memory

HEADGEAR
At 1st Level, you may opt to adopt a pasta strainer, or similar metal dish, as a helmet. This headgear increases your AC by +1. Not only that but you may gift it to another, who can gain the same benefits once it is attuned by them (you must attune as well if you are keeping the headgear). You create a maximum number of helmets equal to your Warlock Level divided by 4 (round down, minimum of 1).

PIRATES ARE COOL
At 1st level, you learn the Message and Vicious Mockery cantrips while hanging out with pirates. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don’t count against your number of cantrips known.

WALK UNSEEN
At 6th Level you can now cast Invisibility as an Action, Bonus Action, or a Reaction to being attacked. You must cast it with a spell slot to be able to use this ability. At 10th Level you may also do this for Greater Invisibility.

YOU CAN'T PROVE THAT
At 6th Level you are such an obstinate debater that you become immune to being Charmed.

GRAVITY ARCANUM
At 10th Level, you may switch you may exchange any spell you have taken from Mystic Arcanum for a spell of the same Level from the following list: Gravity Fissure (6th), Etherealness or Reverse Gravity (7th), Dark Star (8th), or Ravenous Void (9th). As you gain each new Mystic Arcanum, you may opt to choose from this list as well. Additionally, all spells you cast with spell slots that do Force damage have their Save DC (if any) increased by +1.

TRUTH BOMB
At 14th Level, you may, as an Action, argue that a particular creature within 60 ft. of you doesn't exist, and if it fails an Intelligence Saving Throw against your spell save DC, the target ceases to exist for 1 Minute. Creatures must be able to hear and understand you, so they must share a language you speak. No one can see the target creature, touch it, or affect it in any way, nor may it affect them in any way. For all intents and purposes, it ceases to exist for 1 Minute, and it reappears in the same square it occupied when it disappeared when the minute has run it's course. this can be used a number of times per Long Rest equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
