Right, my name was only mentioned because I took damage. Doi.
And I can plainly see that Teja critically succeeded.
Maybe I should try to post less in the middle of the night.
"That is becoming... most irksome." Electricity is one thing he isn't protected against. Foolish!
Wincing, Liam sees that the others seem to be doing better than he is (except Zabu, but he can't approach without tending to himself first). He hasn't really accomplished anything in this battle save for drawing fire, which is a little embarrassing but taking hits isn't nothing either.
With his armor out of commission, his only healing option is alchemy. Which is troublesome as his hands are full. He lets his custom weapon fall to free up a hand, quickly mixing and consuming a concoction with a foul taste that at least does the job.

Oh, yes. So Zabu gets another 6 hp back. The god-ooze beat both Persistent damage earlier as well. Makai also gets 12 hp back from the miss due to RA.
Karando raises his shield and moves on the Gorum ooze. He delivers a mighty slash with his machete that causes the Gorum shape to revert back to its ooze form. However, the respite is short-lived as his second strike causes it to reform into its Gorum shape.
1st strike is a crit. The above sequence should make it clear that if the Gorum-form takes a critical hit it resets to ooze form, but damaging it in ooze form causes it to form into Gorum! :)
Makai's hammer does minimal damage to the Gorum-ooze but she then sends Zabu some much needed healing.
Teja moves up to disable Yellow. However, as she closes with it, it senses her presence and unleashes an electrical discharge that catches her and Manny.

Liam watches Teja work, a little embarrassed by how much more effective she's being at that.
But it seems Manny's earlier advice was incorrect, so the giant ooze probably isn't immune to fire. Probably. At least, he has no particular reason to think it is or isn't.
So it's time to smash something. That's generally less intellectually impressive, but, well, not how he does it. The first step is to get his armor and other combat gadgets working in concert, and then that will make the smashing more impressive. ...when he gets to that part.
Unfortunately he has to pause to pick up his fallen weapon, too.

Zabu renews his assault on the Gorum ooze, hitting with both tooth and claw. As his claws rip through the ooze, its body collapses into a steaming and rapidly evaporating puddle of goo.
COMBAT OVER
In addition to the warshard the party has come for, the oozeshard has absorbed several other items of value that the party can sift from its remains.
The smaller ooze just winks out, as if it never existed.
Within the oozeshard are the precious metal fragments of weapons and armor from previous groups’ attempts to slay the shard. While those groups failed in their task, the items they left behind can be safely retrieved.

Teja, somewhat disapointed that she didn't get to finish off the last of the little oozes takes a degree of pleasure in the teams success.
"I wonder if we could take a sample of it. I've only heard of a demonic ooze god before... this could have been a second!"

Liam moves to start examining the warshard, to determine how to safely transport it. "I've never actually seen one of these." He tries not to look embarrassed about how little he accomplished in that fight, focusing on the task at hand.

Zabu "Daggertooth" Creed

Zabu gives the god ooze a final kick for good measure. It's not as satisfying as it should be since his foot goes right through the gooey parts but then he stubs a toe on one of the pieces of metal inside.
He grins like a fox in a hen house and you just know he's going to be completely insufferable and talk about how he killed a god nonstop from now on.
Congrats on the 150th game! That is an impressive milestone! Alas, I am only a VA so I can't do any of your reviews.
