After being chosen, please fill out your info at RPG Chronicles HERE.
I like to do Day Job rolls during or after the game.
For example, if you have Profession (merchant) and there's a chance for you to interact with a caravan, or merchants in a marketplace, I'll let you do some role playing and do your day job roll. Got a bard with Perform (comedy)? Tell some jokes in the tavern while the group gathers information.
GM Roll4initiative
Post your introductions in gameplay. Once everyone has done that, we'll get rolling.

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the slides? I have it set to "anyone with the link". Not sure why it's limiting access.
Ah. My bad. I had to make everyone with the link an "editor".
Everyone should have access now.

Where do we go to access the slides?

Where do we go to access the slides?
Either in the upper left of the page in Gameplay where it says "SLIDES & STUFF", or in the tagline of my profile.

Shadow Dragon,
Please post introduction in gameplay.
GM Roll4initiative
Please use this thread for out of character discussion, comments, and the like.
I'll post the mission briefing on Saturday, then the official start will be Monday. That should be plenty of time for everyone to get their characters in order.

GM_Colin has a great list about Game Expectations and Play-by-Post Mechanics you can check out by clicking HERE. Which I, too, like to adhere to.
If you need to get in touch with me privately, my Discord handle is c.dragos, or just PM me here on Paizo.

Besides Bartok & Sombra, has anyone else completed #5-08: The Confirmation?
I have not.
GM Roll4initiative
I have never even heard of it.
It's another one of these tier 1-2 replayables where you do your "Confirmation" to become an official Pathfinder.

Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to buy thieves' tools with my starting gold. But you, @Cazithiel, have (according to your profile) more than enough gold to buy them, even the masterwork version with a price of 100 gold wouldn't hurt your purse much. And as you are still level 1 you can rebuild after this scenario and therefore sell back any item at full price, you wouldn't lose any money.
So, in the spirit of Cooperate: ;-)
Would you buy the masterwork version and let me use them for this scenario?

Huh. Somehow the polite part of my question got lost when I rearranged the post and hit Submit. Dr. Watson may have lower than average Charisma, but he isn't a jerk. ;-)
So, as it is too late to edit the original post, please find the corrected version of the question above here:
Would you buy the masterwork version and let me use them for this scenario, please?
GM Roll4initiative
Is there a way to format so only the GM sees the result, or is the way I did it above the way to do it, using the honor system that only the GM checks the spoiler result?
Just add "For GM Only" in the spoiler tag.
For example:

@Josheb: On the slides you can add pictures via the Insert option.
I saved a copy of your profile pic (and Bartok's) and added tokens to the map for both of you.
I moved us up to a table on the higher dining floor. Left room beside the doctor so that Heryn can walk up and sit down if she wants when she brings the bottle over.
@GM: As there were no NPCs on the map, I do not which tables were already occupied. Are the two tables I moved us to okay?
GM Roll4initiative
Something happens before you get to the tables. You're interrupted for a moment. I'll post after work tonight.
The iconic skald Hakon
You're welcome.
The iconic skald Hakon
Working with Heryn having told the three of us at the table by the bar first before walking over to tell the other three, I moved the three of us at the table walking over, and then waiting for Heryn and the other three.

Marching order preference for everyone?
I prefer Hakon bringing up the rear - as during the first round of combat he will typically use a standard action to start his Inspired Rage raging song, draw one of his axes (and take a step towards getting into melee); on the second round, continuing his raging song as a free action, drawing his other axe, step/stride to get into melee/closer to getting into melee; on subsequent rounds using a full attack while continuing his raging song.
GM Roll4initiative
I'll put up a marching order graphic on the slides.
Edit: New slide with marching order graphics is up.

@Cazithiel: I'm not sure if you read my question from last Monday (see above). Did you buy the thieves' tools? They would come in handy right now...

Oh, dang... But would Thieves' Tools really help you to secure a plank? In any case, I can get you the tools.
GM Roll4initiative
nope...i'm fine with climbing...
The reflex save was to avoid the fall; leap from plank before it snapped underneath you.

Single file from the front: Josheb, Bartok, Dr. Watson, Sombra, Cazithiel, Hakon.
Two abreast: left side from front: Josheb, Dr. Watson, Cazithiel. right side from front: Bartok, Sombra, HakonDoes the above work for everyone?
Works for me. Thanks!

GM: Are the ones in bold going specifically in the initiative order they rolled, or can we act in any order (of the ones in bold that beat the scorpions' initiative)?
If yes, reminder to the melee (and thrown weapon) users, that Hakon acting first will allow you to accept Hakon's raging song, which gives you a +1 bonus to melee attack rolls and melee/thrown weapon damage.

You pretty much act in any order as long as you beat the Scorpions initiative. I usually go with first who posts, then next, etc, until scorpions' turn.

Is Janira using a wand of CLW? If not, I wonder why she is casting the spell at CL 1...

Activating Door Sight: Touch a surface, see what's on the other side, as with clairvoyance, 7 inches maximum size, 6/day
Nice domain pick! ^_^
My -1 is a dwarven cleric of Desna who has this ability, too. It's very handy in buildings or wherever door and walls are - or in cases like this. ;-)

Don't know about anyone else but I found that second letter by Adophus horribly difficult to read so I decided to type it out so I could look it over more easily. I didn't type out the bottom because it did not seem pertinent to the investigation.
My mentor Selmius Foster, is dead - slain during our journey to the island of Bhopan. I have taken up his investigation into Eylysia's activities, though recent developments mean my time in Absalom is short.
My initial followup of Foster's investigation into Arkath involved hiring several diviners to discern the veracity of Selius's leads. It appears the stonemason was quite honest with my mentor; there is some key clue buried with him in his mausoleum.
I have watched Eylysia for many months since my return, and I have caught her making additionas to the Wall of Names = the memorial built in honor of my departed mentor. She has added three names, none of which are true Pathfinders and are likely worth investigating. Their names are:
Doulgonlir Caskmail
Hollis 'Evil Grin' Thorne
Karina Clamp
