I feels like we've come to an impass as to whether or not to use the wagon as transportation or kindling for the fire. Ceirn seems to be for using it as kindling, Naomi for transportation. Can we get any other opinions? There are five players, so we shouldn't need Helna to break the tie.
Information to keep in mind:
Pros: With the bovine pulling the wagon, we'll move much faster. We have a weak halfling to transport.
Cons: the wagon is bloody and needs cleaned up (I don't think anyone has the magic to do that) the wagon belongs to gangsters that we may have to deal with and any officials will be very interested in why we're in a bloody wagon owned by gangsters.
And please no abstaining, the quicker we get this done the quicker we move on. Let's not make Rizz decide for us just to keep the game moving along.
Edit: It feels like Aggghhh and Hellig are for using the wagon as transportation, but I just want to verify. I apologize if it sounds like I'm being pushy

In theory, this could be cleaned with magic, specifically Prestidigitation, but it would take a while.
You can clean a 1 ft cube each round with Prestidigitation. So depending on the size of this wagon it could take a while to accomplish. And I am not sure it would actually get rid of the viscera. It's not disintegrate.
If we took the time to get all the chunks out and then spent whatever time necessary we could do it. But if this cart was big enough for all of us we would be here awhile. On the other hand, it may be worth it in the long run considering how far we are traveling. Ceirn is just being prissy about it and would rather avoid the bloody mess. If the group really wants him to clean it, he will do what he can. But this is such a mess it might just be beyond the power of a cantrip to handle.

LOL, I didn't think anyone had prestidigitation, obviously I didn't check your spell list :)
My bigger concern is it feels like we're getting bogged down dealing with the wagon instead of moving on, that's why I asked for a vote, so we could get the game moving. At least folks are talking about it, so we know they're keeping some interest.

Ceirn uses it to perfume himself and cool or heat the around him. Its a great spell for pampering oneself.

Ok, just to clarify. Prestidigitation lasts for 1 hour. Is this going to take 6 hours to clean the cart?
If so, we need to set up camp, and since I need to sleep at some point, this could take into midmorning or later to complete. That is assuming we still want to spend the time to do it.
Since we are 3-4 days out, its probably still worth it for our small folk. But it's worth discussing.

nope
nope
nevermind.
i was going from memory with prestidigitation. thought it could only clean 1cubic foot of space and would have to be cast again. sorry.
no, based on the rules, it should take you about an hour to properly clean the back of the wagon.

Is that why Mickey's spell in Fantasia was so wonderful, it got that whole basement done in much less time than that?

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

sparklefoot is going way, way faster than the horse at walking speed. your basically attempting to get sparklefoot to move at like a slow walk than a normal walk. the party still hasnt figured out why sparklefoot moves so damn fast for an overgrown cow...
