I don't think Juriya is going to take UMD, I already diverted her skills so she can identify everything with 2*INT knowledges at level 7.

In unrelated news, I found this bard archetype and this fits Saryo (Ano's aunt) perfectly. Might even see one day of playing her in another campaign in a Varisian setting (like Curse of the Crimson Throne or Jade Regent)

A couple of suggestions on how to meet Ethan and introduce him to the group:
If you're going back to Sandpoint immediately: he could be found returning from a delivery, or maybe tending to the bruises and abrasions of some youngsters who were playing a bit too rough and tumble.
If you're going to be in the woods/out of town for a bit: you could encounter Ethan out in the woods, hunting, practicing his archery, or the like.
Ethan's not a local, and he arrived after the Swallowtail Festivals fracas, but it's possible you recognize him from seeing him around.
Anyway, there's a few thoughts to get the ball rolling!

Twice, the GMs just ghosted the PCs, and left us hanging.

I was just curious around the circumstances. A couple of my friends tried to play this AP in-person - twice. I don't know where/what things went south but the first time it was a TPK.
They decided to try a second time, built the PCs better based on their experience the 1st time, and it ended in half the PCs dead and one more bleeding out and they decided to play 'Winter's Reign' instead.

I have a character I've wanted to play Reign of Winter for a while now. One of the last of the Frozen Shadows who, after Ameiko Kaijitsu's friends basically massacred their family and ninja clan during the events of Jade Regent, fled the Lands of the Linnorm Kings and became a mercenary, battling for coin and against his depression until his wanderings lead him to Taldor, where he stumbles on the events of Reign of Winter and as he becomes involved, finds himself becoming a hero in spite of himself!

...If there's a new player actively waiting to reunite with the rest of the party, shouldn't we be working towards getting back to Sandpoint, rather than getting sidetracked on yet another tangent?
We can deal with Nualia later, if she even comes up at all - frankly, I'd prefer to face the main threat of this section of the adventure with the aid of a divine healer, not to mention that it seems downright rude to keep our new player waiting forever while we go through weeks of combat against a spellcaster, arguments, interrogations, et cetera.

I was assuming Nualia was going to GM ex machina us to there, to be honest. We chase after her, end up in some random neck of Sandpoint where our new player is, and then have a full team again.
So new player is doing some interesting RP. This chase can have some interesting moments and it has the clearer implication that Nualia escaped instead of holing up in Thistletop.

Wouldn't the alignment-based spells be extraordinarily weak if they only targeted the [evil]-tag creatures?
Chaos Hammer has separate wording and effects for lawful creatures and lawful outsiders. Pretty sure all [Lawful] creatures are outsiders.
Then again, I admit I could be entirely f@$#ing wrong. I thought D20 just linked to the words, but https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75ivn8b/gameplay says otherwise. It might only auto-link the capitalized version? There is a relevant FAQ here , but that COULD be because evil is capitalized due to beginning a sentence.
So, everything I read that compares Burst of Radiance with other spells consider that it does damage creatures that have evil alignment.
So, Ethan, go ahead and roll your damage.

Out-of-character clarification, Donimah was trying to negotiate with Gogmurt because there's still more dungeon in Thistletop that we haven't cleared yet, and I worried that if we just finish Nualia off outside and leave we won't be allowed back in.
