No post from me today. Maybe even this weekend.

One of our newly adopted kittens, smeagol, contracted FIP. Its fatal. Today we woke to him sufferring. So my wife and i made the decosion to take him to the vet to end his sufferring.

Sorry to hear about the kitten Rizz, take all the time you need, we're not going anywhere.

It was what Rizz would sell to me, I'm not even sure it we can ride it or if it would pull a cart or what speed it goes.

Terribly sorry about yesterday and not posting. my home internet crashed just as i sat down to start typing. my son, home sick, was the one to first notice it.

This weekend is Christmas. I hope each one of you have a great weekend, and extended holiday season.

ive been on this board for a good long time now, and i know that xmas and new years next week are the slowest times for posting. that being said, i am not expecting any postings to happen between today, 12-22-23, thru 1-2-2024. However, if everyone does post, i will hop on and make a post to keep the game going. Please do not feel pressured to post, the game isnt going anywhere. im curious to see what kind of shenanigans having a Rothe as an animal companion will do =D.

My posting may be slow for a couple of days, I still intend to check the boards a couple of times a day, but I'm not living at the computer. Don't wait for me to make the decisions and if we get in combat bot me if needed.

Both my wife and mom have come down with covid. My mom (86) was almost unresponsive so we called the squad, she's at the hospital. I'll end up being there a bit and taking care of my wife, thus not at the computer as much as usual and I hate posting on my phone.

apologies for the delay. since last week the wife and i decided to buy a new truck, my son had a wrestling tournament, my daughter hit a deer with her car, and i had a few doctor appointments to attend to.

just seems to have been a week of running about, doing stuff.

yeah, there was some funky upgrades done on saturday. my ROTR group on discord thinks there may have been an issue with old cookies not being immediately recognized and allowing for the saving of posts.

thats what the handle animal check was for. basically, the rope slips out of your hand, butttt, you manage to not get rope burn from it.

Well i dont want my players thinking im being a dick or favoring my dmpc vs their characters. Thats a horrible idea.

And youre not being a jerk. You saw something sus and said something. Im glad to see it. I always encourage all the players to say something. Id rather they say something so i can fix an issue rather than them suddenly blowing up.

It's cool, the idea was to Thistel in front to turn them. I thought having a growling wolf in the front would slow them down. But I don't think 'go scare them back to us' is actually something Thistle is trained to do, so I went with 'flank.'

I think we should just burn the whole wagon and cremate the remains. But I am a fire sorcerer. Fire is usually my answer to so many problems.

pity to waste the wagon, the short-legged people could ride in it..

edit: actually we could all ride in it, since 'Sparklefoot' has magic shoes we should be able to go much faster.

I do like the odea of burning the remains, but save the wagon. And we can sell one horse, or eat it.
