One of our newly adopted kittens, smeagol, contracted FIP. Its fatal. Today we woke to him sufferring. So my wife and i made the decosion to take him to the vet to end his sufferring.

ive been on this board for a good long time now, and i know that xmas and new years next week are the slowest times for posting. that being said, i am not expecting any postings to happen between today, 12-22-23, thru 1-2-2024. However, if everyone does post, i will hop on and make a post to keep the game going. My posting may be slow for a couple of days, I still intend to check the boards a couple of times a day, but I'm not living at the computer. Don't wait for me to make the decisions and if we get in combat bot me if needed.
Both my wife and mom have come down with covid. My mom (86) was almost unresponsive so we called the squad, she's at the hospital. I'll end up being there a bit and taking care of my wife, thus not at the computer as much as usual and I hate posting on my phone.

apologies for the delay. since last week the wife and i decided to buy a new truck, my son had a wrestling tournament, my daughter hit a deer with her car, and i had a few doctor appointments to attend to.

thats what the handle animal check was for. basically, the rope slips out of your hand, butttt, you manage to not get rope burn from it.

Well i dont want my players thinking im being a dick or favoring my dmpc vs their characters. Thats a horrible idea.
And youre not being a jerk. You saw something sus and said something. Im glad to see it. I always encourage all the players to say something. Id rather they say something so i can fix an issue rather than them suddenly blowing up.
Not sure why Thistle didn't move to the front of the horses, which was the opposite side she was on, Naomi moved beside the horse."side", and not "opposite the character, who currently stands 'behind' the horses. Sorry...sheesh im saying that a lot lately. ugg.
It's cool, the idea was to Thistel in front to turn them. I thought having a growling wolf in the front would slow them down. But I don't think 'go scare them back to us' is actually something Thistle is trained to do, so I went with 'flank.'

I think we should just burn the whole wagon and cremate the remains. But I am a fire sorcerer. Fire is usually my answer to so many problems.
pity to waste the wagon, the short-legged people could ride in it..
actually we could all ride in it, since 'Sparklefoot' has magic shoes we should be able to go much faster.
I do like the odea of burning the remains, but save the wagon. And we can sell one horse, or eat it.
