Checking in

Spell Templates by GM Tiger | Placeholder | Core The Silvermount Collection |

Welcome!

We are waiting to hear when Red Reverend will be free.

I will start working on the slides and prepping the scenario. I collect player and character info on those slides too, so I do not need anything else from anyone yet.

Spell Templates by GM Tiger | Placeholder | Core The Silvermount Collection |

I got a PM from RR. It may be a couple weeks, depending on how quickly his outpost game wraps up.

Which is sorta good because I am busy at home and work, so it will give me time to set everything up.

Spell Templates by GM Tiger | Placeholder | Core The Silvermount Collection |

We are still waiting for RR to finish up their outpost game, but everyone else can check into my spreadsheet.

Spreadsheet Linky

Please fill in your chronicle details on page one and your character info on page two. I will have a link to these slides in my profile header and at the top of the page. We will use these slides for maps and any handouts as well.

Thank you all for filling in your info.

I am keeping a loose eye on Red Reverend’s game and I believe they just started the final fight, so I’d guess a week or so and we will be starting. Hopefully!

Spell Templates by GM Tiger | Placeholder | Core The Silvermount Collection |

Alright, here we go! At least with the start-ish. Red Reverend is waiting on his chronicle but his scenario is done. I just need his and Miriel’s info on the slides. And everyone is welcome to start off in gameplay. Y’all are welcome to do introductions, make purchases as allowed in gameplay, and chat a bit about things if you wish.

We won’t approach the waystation until everyone is ready to go though.

Khellek is right. It will be up to you who is picked for the drivers and passengers.

So, Khellek has +2 to handle animal.
Bella +2
RR +2
Ezren +0 and
Miriel +2

Given there are five of us, only two won't be driving.

Ezren obviously has to be a rider.
I'm going to suggest that Miriel as our primary warrior probably should also be a rider rather than having her hands tied up driving.

That just leaves the questions of who will be driving each of them, and who will be driving alone.

Could we tie them up if they are calm? Is that a "hostile action"?

It is somewhat against the religious teachings to kill creatures that didn't show any aggression against the team. I'm not sure if you can drop the calm emotions from one target at a time, but that would give us the upper hand and the enemies had the choice to attack or flee after the calm is dropped.

We could take a ready action and then drop the calm, and if they attack, stop it with the readied action.

I like that approach.

Spell Templates by GM Tiger | Placeholder | Core The Silvermount Collection |

They aren’t helpless so to tie them up you would have to at minimum grapple them first which would break the spell. Dropping the spell would definitely have to be all of them, not just one of them.

Other than that, morally, it isn’t a bad plan to just ready actions and then drop it to see what happens.

No named texts? And I guess there are no scholars around to try and convert.
No planes or demi-planes involved today?
And I assume neither the ioun stone (or whatever) nor the bones count as a unique magic item to deliver safely to the society (although now I think about it, the bones are part of some magical ritual are they not? Would that count?)

Spell Templates by GM Tiger | Placeholder | Core The Silvermount Collection |

No luck on any of that (these bones aren’t magical) and the society isn’t going to need your help with the ritual, which will be done later. Yeah, they are jerks like that sometimes.
