I've been corrupted by the power of the GM. Because I just had an incredibly awful idea for something that I could do right now in the game.

On the one hand, it would be awesome and entirely appropriate to this exact circumstance, and would actually only be possible at all in this exact circumstance.

On the other hand, it'll almost certainly be a TPK if I do it.

And the worst thing is, I can't even really get your thoughts on the matter because it'll be (probably minor) spoilers for some stuff if I do explain the details.

Grasz:
| HP 14/14 | AC 16 | F+5 R+5 W+4 | Perc+4, low-light vision

I mean, if you ask the person who's about to exit the campaign, I would endorse going out with a bang!

But I think the continuing characters' thoughts are what matter.

Sorry to see you go, Rik'tik! Good luck to you and it has been a pleasure.

GM: Ohhhh, I must admit that my curiosity is piqued, though I don't imagine that Eser would enjoy what would come, whatever that may be. Maybe fill us in after the fact of what your plans were?

Can buildings make reflex saves? Otherwise it might be better to try with the boomerang :p

It doesn't cost Hellewen anything to try. Other that perhaps, at this point, dignity...

Oh, silly Hellewen. You're an adventurer snuffing out monsters for loose change and random valuables. You don't have any dignity to lose :D.

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

Dignity? In this economy?

We'll go with the well-earning murder-hobo over the dignity-less wage slave, then.
Go with that virtual Chad Rizz over the edgy loser that still has no dignity but sits on a high horse.

Status: | HP 17/17 | AC 18 | Fort +8 Ref +8 Will +3 | Perception 3; Low-light & Darkvision

<.<

Would still prefer to not think about it :p

---

So, going some napkin math.

1/6 attacks do 1 point of damage (need to roll that 6). 15 successful attacks needed. A round is still uh 6 seconds I hope? 6*15*6 -> about 10m per pillar.

Assuming generously that all attacks hit. If not it'll take about x3 the time. For one pillar.

So... We down for this? Anyone got a bigger cantrip or something to help with? Or perhaps just risk the biscuit.

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

Technically my other cantrip, telekinetic projectile, would be 1d6+4, so 1 damage better than you, which would actually add up significantly.
(because 1/6 attacks would do 2 points and 1/6 would do 1 damage, so 3 damage over 6 attacks, or 1 every 2. Making it 6*15*2 = 180, or 3 minutes per pillar.

So within 10 minutes, we could deconstruct 4 pillars between us.
But she HAD to pewpew first, not quite understanding what it is you are trying to do.

Not relevant to the game, but I had to share this somewhere because it's just too weird to keep to myself.

Last night, I dreamt that I was playing a turn-based squad combat game, set in WW2 and featuring the characters from "Welcome Back, Kotter."

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

I suppose you could mod Silent Storm to that effect with little effort - like, make more than the main character custom and give them portraits from that series?
If you wanted it to be real, I mean?

Otari Map|Otari Level 2 Map| Party Info|Campaign Rules

Nah, I don't want to go that far with it, it was just a really surreal dream. What's really funny is that if you counted up all of the minutes of footage I've seen in my life from that show, it wouldn't even equal a single episode's worth of runtime.

So I have no idea how or why those characters featured so vividly in the dream.

Holiday weekend here was much busier than I'd thought it would be. Working through some work now and intend to post tomorrow. Please bot if needed.

Status: | HP 17/17 | AC 18 | Fort +8 Ref +8 Will +3 | Perception 3; Low-light & Darkvision

Dreams are strange. Supposedly they use bits of things saved on the good old harddrive, so maybe a few minutes was all that was needed :p

Status: | HP 17/17 | AC 18 | Fort +8 Ref +8 Will +3 | Perception 3; Low-light & Darkvision

@Trap/Team - do we actually care enough about this to spend say an hour breaking it remotely?

Or should we just advance and hope the trap is less deadly/likely to trigger then whatever shenanigans the kobolds can cook up.

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

I think we spend the 10 minutes to disassemble it.
My main worry is a clean exit strategy - same as with the spider or the undead.

It's good and nice if you can sneak by something, cautiously avoid a trap or attention.
But if you step into some deep shit on the other side and have to get out in a hurry, anything of that sort you leave behind you turns into a death trap.

We KNOW the kobolds are aware of us now, and may likely organize defenses. Once we face them, we may get overwhelmingly unlucky with a first round of dice, and decide that we should better regroup.
Having a trap in our back just waiting to finish us off(or alternatively, slowly crawling over safe spots while kobolds pelt us with projectiles) does not sound so hot.

^This is a good point. I am in favor of dismantling it. Eser can rage and beat the DR pretty handily if we want to destroy them, but it would be loud.

Status: | HP 17/17 | AC 18 | Fort +8 Ref +8 Will +3 | Perception 3; Low-light & Darkvision

Only thing I'd add is that as I understood it there's three pillars total :p

But yeah, not having it murder us on the way out might be nice :)

Taking my small wins where I can get them against the veritable mountain of crap I've got to deal with, I managed to successfully use FB Marketplace to sell a non-working lawnmower and string trimmer (neither of which I had the skills or money to get fixed myself). Priced both just high enough to actually put a few bucks in my pocket, but low enough that the parts-hunters and DIY fixit types would be willing to drive out to my rural nowhere to just take a look. And if they came all that way to look, then maybe it's worth the gas to take them home too, right?

Well, they're gone, I'm up by $40, and the listings were only up for a day each as well (a pleasingly quick turn-around).

But on the other side, f%~* FB and some of their arcane policies. I'm trying to sell a powered wheelchair as well, but FB doesn't allow "medical devices" to be sold. Which is a crock of shit, because I go there right now and see the exact f!#+ing model of wheelchair that I want to sell being sold by other people. My reward for not playing stupid games with the nanny-bots and how I worded my ad. Now I have to haunt the hobo camp known as Craigslist and hope I can successfully dodge the scammers (already had one try) who'd waste my time.

I'm not on Facebook so my suggestion may be a bad one, but can you delete the ad and post an ad with similar wording to the folks that got theirs posted?

That is strange that a wheelchair is considered a medical device. I would consider it a transit device myself.

Unfortunately, no. Because I was stupid (and, again, trying to be honest) and appealed the initial removal (which was denied), I guess the system is now keeping a specific eye on my account. Because I tried to post something as you suggested, and it was immediately rejected :p.

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

Or you invest 15 of those 40 you made into the local art store, then decorate the powered wheelchair into some unholy amalgamation of some princess fairy tale and HR Gigers wet dreams, then sell it as an object of art, a throne of the bizarre, a fully functional piece of art creepy beyond what stable-diffusion can come up with.

Otari Map|Otari Level 2 Map| Party Info|Campaign Rules

There's something deeply wrong in your head if you can come up with ideas like that :D.

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

Touchê.

But I pride myself on being twisted and bent, rather than broken - so that "deeply wrong" is entirely functional in society.

However you intend to proceed, best of luck with your liquidation efforts.

Previously I said I intended to leave the campaign once we next returned to town. However, it's now been 3 months since that date, and I think I'm going to go ahead and drop the campaign at this point. Feel free to have my character return to the surface alone or bot her as needed. Save Pfil's HP from that next trap, granny's game! :P

It's been a fun time but I'm afraid I just don't think Pathfinder 2E is for me quite yet.

Otari Map|Otari Level 2 Map| Party Info|Campaign Rules

Alright. That's a shame, but thank you for sticking around as long as you have.

HP: 2/17 | AC: 17 | Fort: +6, Ref: +6, Will: +5 | SAR: 7, SDC: 17 | Perception: +3

Damn, our ploy to just extend the time until you changed your mind did not work.

It's been great to have you around a bit more, though. Have a good live, granny Stormcrow!

And happy holidays to one and all.

Otari Map|Otari Level 2 Map| Party Info|Campaign Rules

Was cleaning up the campaign by removing Surla from it, and noticed something that gave me a brief laugh.

MordredofFairy is playing a sprite (fairy-like) character, while Fighting Chicken is playing an avian melee character...

Pfil's apparently getting swamped by life at the moment, so I'm going to go ahead and bot to get things moving along.

Thinking I'll let the kobolds take some poor shots first rather then pincushion Hellewen. Plus maybe next turn she can pull the boomerang back in some fancy way ... :) (It's a single action to do that now, so move move then pull hopefully!)

Poked Phil on steam. Apparently they've been at the hospital. Planning to come back, not sure when though. But they seem alive at least :)
