Knaxshi knows that there are always going to be bandits and thieves around. Trying to go eliminate them sometimes hits the common folk worse. but unchecked, they are going to be a problem. So Knaxshi visits a few places and lets them know that the Stag Lord was taken down because he became a problem. Should they keep control of the situation and prevent it from getting out of hand, there shouldn't be the need for big crackdowns like that like that.
clandestine business: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Woo hoo, critical success
RP: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 luxuries: 1d4 ⇒ 3
With the resources he's liberated in setting up the thieves' guild, he'll funnel though some of the artisans we have to give them more resources to trade.
craft luxuries: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 looks like a regular success
RP cost: 1d6 ⇒ 1 +1 luxury
net change +6 RP, +4 luxury goods

Okay, so first thing we have to do is install Ankra - I don't think I saw what position we're putting him in, but we're only good at one of the methods of installing new leadership anyways, so that's what we'll be using despite any possible circumstance bonuses.
New Leadership (Statecraft): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 +2 if this is to make him a Magister or Viceroy
Our Control DC is only 14 so that's a success! The people accept Ankra. He immediately provides the benefits tied to occupying the new role.
Unrest is fine, our one settlement (Safehaven) isn't overcrowded, and we're not at war.
We don't have Trade Trained, so I think we should forego Collecting Taxes from folk this round, especially while we're keeping Unrest at 0.
Ditto Improve Lifestyle. Without Politics Trained, it's a risky move.
We do have the Statecraft to Tap our Treasury, but that's generally an emergency move anyways.
After that comes trading away our Commodities, so I'll take that to Discord since there's more discussion to be had.

Vesi spends half a day performing a ritual aimed at divinating the most auspicious date and time for sending an envoy to Varnhold... nah, just kidding. They use precious spell components as cooking ingredients to make the ultimate trailmix bar as a gift to Maegar Varn.

Extra action from the Crit success for claiming the Tree Hex
Go Fish(Again): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
+1 food commodity
After a very easy process of claiming the ancient tree Russ and his group return to the calm peaceful waves of the young city and Fish away the day, bringing in quite the haul.
"How are the waters today Vesi?"

Vesi is sobbing over the side of the boat.
"I - *hic* can't do this! I got a big one, and h-he *sniff* begged me to put him back. He said he had three thousand children to take care of. T-Three thousand!"

Russ looks to any of the other fishers who all seem to shrug unknowingly. So he moves over to Vesi's side patting the druid on the back.
"There there Vesi, but we have to let nature take it's course otherwise we'll have too many fish and they'll all starve. Besides look at it the kobold way, we don't have singular parents we're communally raised. So while the little fishies lost one father they gained a whole community to make sure they stay safe."
He doesn't mention the fact that it's a community that's just as likely to eat them as their neighbors, but hey it's an honest attempt to comfort the ailing druid.
