Only PF2 scenarios I've played have been with this group, so nope. Haven't played it.
Unfortunately I'm not eligible for Combat Mentor. On the bright side, I'll be leveling so I can grab Assurance for Medicine. I'll never fail a heal check again!

Does Mara need to do anything about that failed Fort save, or is it simply assumed she's successfully treated during the downtime?

Interpreting how Battle Medicine works has been a headache for anyone who reads the Rules Forum, but on this podcast the speaker relays from Mark Seifter that you do need Healer's Tools, but only one hand to use them.
I had generally been of the mindset that it requires two hands, because using Healer's Tools requires two hands, but in the podcast he explains as long as you have a Bandolier you just need the one hand to use the feat.

GM, I just realized something. I technically would have taken damage from my 3 action harm spell in 2e as you don't get to automatically exclude yourself the way you did in 1e.
So wouldn't I just need a DC 11 Flat check to break the confusion since I took damage? And a will save to half the damage?
Flat Check DC 11: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Will DC 18: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
So 4 more damage from harm
If it was errata'd and I missed it or I'm misreading something, no worries. I am not asking for a retcon.

How can you reroll a save?
Hero Points let you reroll a check. In 2e we're given one at the start of each adventure, so everyone except Bair and Mara should currently have one. I don't see anything in the rules that would indicate they can't be used on saves.

Huh. It was explained to me a while back that Hero Points only worked on checks, like skill checks and ability checks, but sure enough I just found this on page 443:
"Pathfinder has many types of checks, from skill checks to attack rolls to saving throws"
So I guess I'll go back to hoarding them for saving throws ^_^

@Deshacerla: Technically true, but the Confusion effect is *also* from an ongoing poison effect, that you continue to have to save against... so taking damage from your own action would knock you out of the Confusion until the start of your turn, at which point, you have to save against the poison again...

Alright, I need to head off to bed now, but since the new scenarios are supposed to drop in the next few hours, I will be happy to start with them tomorrow (my time) :-)
I figure we will do the 1-4, the quest, and then the 3-6 (since everyone should be level 3 by that point), so that Thorax can rejoin us.
