Sorry for my delay had an impromptu 24+hr shift and apparently I've gotten old...it took me an 18hr nap to regain consciousness....

In other news, personally, I feel this encounter at high tier is a little unfair.
It works (and makes sense) at low tier, when the birds are smaller, do less damage, and have fewer hit points, but at high tier, it doesn't work...
Also, to be clear, Blue *is* still on the map - you just have to scroll down to see it.

Fun!

What would you give me as advice for gear's investment after this game? For now I haven't modified anything. The battleaxe is a possibility. But is there something better for a druid? I ask this in advance to prepare.

Question on Forbidden Ward (link) spell.
With the 30ft range, both the friend and the enemy have to be within 30ft of me for it to work, right?

I'll be out of state for a family funeral Tomorrow through Saturday with very light posting availability. Bot as necessary, instructions at the top of my profile.

Quick question: Are the bushes difficult terrain? I'm hoping to have Mara move 4 squares south/1 square east to get into a flanking position.

![]() |

Well, That's over slightly faster than I had expected!
I will be without printer/scanner access until the end of the week (local time), so I can't make-up chronicle sheets just yet.
In the interim, I am happy to move on to the quest that Thorax requested.
There is the standard 4XP / 14gp (64gp for Thorax) / 4 Reputation for this scenario.

Dran'Tor will be lvl 2 for the next one.
Downtime:
Earn income: Craft: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15
Well 4 sp.

Upload the scenario to Google Drive.
Choose "Open With" and select "DocHub".
You then have an option to download the scenario; when you do, you can select a page range. Simply select the last page.
You can then upload just that page to Google Drive, open with DocHub, and fill in the necessary data.
Repeat for each player.
THIS is one of the Chronicles you issued earlier, for example. I filled in my information in green.

In Adobe Acrobat you can also usually extract the chronicle page into its own file and then use the 'fill and sign' option to do the chronicles digitally. It locks stuff in so once it is saved nothing can be edited when you hand them out to us. I use that in conjunction with google docs to manage and hand chronicles out.
FYI, thanks for the session! Bair is up for a quest, this is a great group.

![]() |

Thanks for running GM.
I'd be up for a quest. The only quest I've played so far is the one you ran prior to the session.

![]() |

@Bair: How do you do that?
I am basically a Luddite - I mean, I still use a non-smart phone.
EDIT: Ah, I see the problem - I have Adobe Reader, not Adobe Acrobat, so I can't do that.
@Thorax: I see how it is done, but that involves granting a third-party app my details, which I am disinclined to do.

![]() |

Okay, so I guess it starts with a few questions.
How do you currently view the scenario? In google docs? In a pdf via adobe acrobat already? In some other program? Hardcopy?
Edit: Ah... I have acrobat at work and do most of my stuff there. I think I have reader at home, I'll take a look to see if I can do it there and put up some steps.

I have just found that you can use google docs to extract them.
Open the scenario in google docs and chose to Print it. This should open a new page with just the file to be printed. You will need to chose to print it again, but change a few settings before you print it. Change the destination for the printing to be 'save to pdf.' Then limit the range to 'Custom' and pick the page with the chronicle sheet on it. Then click print and it should give you a 'save to' box where you can select your destination to save it. It should create a pdf of only the chronicle.
From there, I don't know if Reader gives you the option to use Fill and Sign, but if it does I love to use it for chronicles.

It was resolved. I'll have to look for the link, but those two days can be used for Earn Income.

Whelp dats my first job fired from! Stupid forklift was already broken when I started using it, I swear. Yeah, that's what it was.
Does that crit fail actually effect anything in society play or just ruin that specific downtime session?

I'm game, but will start having Thorax go Slow Track if we do.
Initially I thought PbP would take a lot longer, but these games have been pleasantly speeding along.
The fact that PFS2 rolled out with Slow Track at the onset, and SFS hasn't still in Season 2, makes me wonder if SFS ever will.
