Scourge is a member of the crew. Unless someone wants the handaxe, I suggest we give back the ring (if he is married), and put the handaxe in armory until he earns it back for good behavior.

Also, we should distribute at least something to the crew as reward.

Reading the rules, there will be two skills needed.
In ship combat, the Captain needs to have a good sailor skill bonus. Tap hasn't any ranks in it. I could drop a bunch next level, +3class-2 Wis+4ranks=+5 Maybe it should be our best sailor?
In selling our plunder diplomacy checks are good. Jack or Tap can do that fairly well. Haven't looked at Rush's or Sunyata's

I currently have +4 sailor, if you want to make the cook a captain, i.e. Captain Jack.

Looks like Rush has the best sailor +6, and also the best diplomacy +9

Rush will happily take quarterrmaster, but would reject Captain if offered to him. Mr. GM Nayr, are you a stickler for stacking bonuses? Also, Sunyata's character maybe be able to use the bracers as well. Tap claimed Captain, the crew seems to have accepted him.

Also, I agree that we should distribute some gold to the crew. If there are 4 active players, 20% of our income to each player and 20% split amongst the crew. Opinions?

Our characters don't know who Sunyata is (yet) and our characters can't see the future like that. Jack will wear them, unless others object. Also, I expect GM Nayr will equip Sunyata to be roughly equivalent to what we got going now.

As for 20%, I don't disagree; but i hate to throw stuff away on stuff that isn't actually modeled in the game.

We can do a one time payment now for morale, etc.
But apparently there IS a way to pay crew within the plunder system. Look for commentary here:

i mean, i think it is a good plan, at least as far as money goes. special items can be given out to npcs, but i would see that as, like, rewarding a retainer for good service.

where is scourge's whip?

anyway, I think Rush should take over Scourge's chore of doling out discipline.

Sorry if this is really obvious.... I was reading through some of the latest gameplay... is the crew currently out to sea or on land somewhere? It sounded like they're on an island but then they're on the ship... Just trying to figure out how to post...
