She nods, "Even in Nicae the food wasn't that bad. Especially when Anselina cooked for us. I guess I should have learned some cooking skills myself." She sighs.

"Not everyone has the talent for it," Eldan says. "Though I do respect those that have it."

She nods, "Maybe with enough practice I can get the hang of it. I don't want to start a fire or anything every time I try to cook something. At least I can still make sandwiches though, so that's okay I guess...I just don't want to eat them for every meal. Maybe between missions I need to take some cooking lessons."

"Maybe Chris can teach you," Eldan suggests.

She smiles, "Yeah...maybe he can. When he's not too busy trying to woo my sister that is." She says with a laugh.

"It must not be good 'wooing' if he's still sleeping on the couch."

She chuckles, "Some things take time. Who knows what will happen really. Gashka has....been through some stuff and it might take her time to let anyone that close again." She says thoughtfully while taking a bite of her eggs, "Mmmm...these really are good though."

"Who doesn't like a man who can cook?" Eldan asks, sipping his coffee. "Anyway, I'm sure Chris will find someone even if it's not Gashka."

She nods, "It's definitely a bonus. I'm sure everyone will find what they need, when they need it."

Vishanti smiles at the banter, as they enjoy breakfast. After hearing Eldan's story, it was interesting to see how well adjusted he seemed to be at life in a kobold's body.

Anyka enjoys her breakfast, her mood gradually improving as the coffee works its magic.

As they sit around talking and enjoying breakfast, Derika reaches out and gives Vishanti's hand a gentle squeeze.

Gashka smiles, happy to see Anyka's mood improving.

Getting downstairs, Rajni looks to see if there's any coffee.

The kitchen is empty as Rajni enters.

Not seeing anyone around, she starts making some coffee. Not trusting her cooking skills much beyond that, she gets some meat and cheese out of the cold box and piles it on a couple pieces of bread. After making her sandwich she cuts up an apple and puts it on her plate. This would be enough to keep her until after the wedding.

Once her coffee is ready she pours herself a cup and sweetens it before sipping on it with her sandwich and fruit.

After drinking about half the cup of coffee she goes back upstairs and knocks on Hitome's door, "Hitome? Are you awake? We need to meet the other summoners and Toni at Hadrinn's soon. I have some coffee downstairs if you want some." She says before taking another sip from her cup.

Asha and Priya walk into the kitchen, looking a little tired. "Good morning, Rajni."

Thrainn and the rest finish their food. "That was good."

Looking up she gets a concerned look on her face, "Mama...Auntie...you look so tired. Did you stay up all night? Come and sit down, I'll make you some tea."

Having finished her food as well as her second cup of coffee she nods and rubs her tummy, "Oh yeah...I told you the food here was great. Now we can work it off a little while I walk you around and get you the rest of the stuff you need and take you to see Sir Barclay."

"We had to finish with Cyna and Sienna's wedding dresses," Priya says.

She sighs while putting the kettle on for some tea, "Well...with the wedding and everything, no one should be coming in here to buy anything. Maybe you both can just take it easy for the rest of the day? Would you like anything to eat? I can try to make something..." She says, trailing off as she looks in the cold box to see what they have that she can possibly make without burning down the house.

Asha shakes her head. "I'm not really hungry right now."

"Me either," Priya says. "I think I just need a nap."

"So, would you just like to lie down for a little while instead of having the tea then? I could wake you up when it's time to get ready for the wedding." She says, a note of concern in her voice. She had never seen them look so tired and it worried her.

Both Asha and Priya nod. "Just turn any customers away if they should show up."

Taking the tea kettle off the stove she nods. Going to her mama and Auntie she gives them a hug, "Okay, I'll take care of it. Just get some rest and I'll wake you up later."

Pulling out her coin pouch she puts a couple of gold on the table, "Are you ready to go see the town with us now?" She asks before finishing her water.

After drinking about half the cup of coffee she goes back upstairs and knocks on Hitome's door, "Hitome? Are you awake? We need to meet the other summoners and Toni at Hadrinn's soon. I have some coffee downstairs if you want some." She says before taking another sip from her cup.

Coming out already dressed and ready for the day, Hitome smiles. "Thanks. Sorry I was focused on my morning meditation. Preparing for the possibility of just about anything today."

Dressed in the warmer clothes she got from Ms. Asha she nods while holding onto her cup, "That's probably a good idea. Did you want any coffee before we go? I got kind of distracted myself, listening to the sounds of the ocean and the birds outside."

Vishanti, don't forget to add the 3,100 gp to your money that I gave you before we left Nicae. I didn't see it on your sheet and I wanted to make sure that you had it.

Priya and Asha nod and head to their rooms.

"Might as well jump in with both feet," Thrainn answers.

She nods while getting up from the table, "I think we should stop by the carpenter first to get you the rest of the furniture you'll be needing. I can point out the places as we passed, then I can take you to the general store and you can get any tools or anything else I forgot the other night there. He seems to have a little bit of everything, and if he doesn't have it, he can usually find it. I'll show you where the market place is as well as the Temple and everything. It's kind of easy to get around once you get used to it. Then after we get you your tools I'll take you by Ms. Yulia's Cafe so you can see how best to fix the holes in her wall, then I'll take you to see Barclay." She says as they make their way through the restaurant. Getting to the doors she waves to Hadrinn before opening up the doors for her family. While they're walking out she says, "I guess if you need sleepwear or changes of clothes I can take you by the tailor shop too. They have a large variety of clothing in all shapes, sizes, and colors."

Going back to the table she sits back down and eats her sandwich while sipping on her coffee and waiting for Juhi to wake up.

Thrainn and Kealey nod. "Lead on."

Groaning, Elena walks into the kitchen and mumbles some sort of greeting to Rajni.

She nods and leads them to the carpenters shop, pointing out all the other shops and places of interest along the way. Going inside she waves at the owner, "Good morning Mr. Meacham."

Looking at her sister she arches an eyebrow a little bit, "You okay Sis? Can I get you anything?" She asks while finishing up her sandwich and cup of coffee. She takes her dishes to the sink and rinses them off while waiting to see how Elena was feeling this morning.

"Tea...and crackers, if we have any," Elena groans. "Where's Mother and Auntie Priya?"

"Good morning," Meacham says, looking at the assembled group. "I take it you need more furniture?"

She nods, "I'm afraid so, but my Papa can tell you what they need. It's for them, they just got here yesterday and Sir Barclay was able to find a home for them, but it had nothing in it."

Rajni goes to put the water on for the tea and gets Elena some crackers out of the cupboard, "Well...mama and Auntie were up all night finishing the dresses for Cyna and Sienna's wedding today so they're exhausted. They went to sleep for a while before the wedding and I told them I'd deal with the shop for them. As long as no one needs alterations or anything I think I can handle it. I'll close it down before we go to the wedding though." She says in way of explanation.

Elena nods. "Sounds fine."

Rajni makes the tea for her sister and sets it in front of her along with the sugar and honey, "Can I get you anything else?"

Elena shakes her head. "Not right now."

Thrainn and Kealey rattle off all the furniture they need for their new home while Mr. Meacham writes it all down. "Alright, I think I can manage that."

Looking at Mr. Meacham she asks, "So, how much will all that be and how long do you think it'll take to get it to them?"

Sitting down next to her sister she puts a hand lightly on her back, "I'm sorry you're not feeling well today Sis."

"I have quite a few of those pieces already, but it should take a day to get the rest," Meacham answers. "That'll be three hundred gold for all of it."

"The baby isn't good at deciding when I should feel crappy," Elena says. "Today is not the best day for it."

Juhi walks into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes with Shamara behind her. "Good morning."

The avatar list on this particular site always loads really slowly for me, and sifting through the pages is a nightmare. I didn't feel like digging through dozens of pages to find some needle in a haystack, so I took something which looked - as a stretch - like the mask of Nethys.

Bummer.

Pickings actually are kind of slim. He's kind of angry looking but what do you think of this one?

@Aurelea: Don't worry. That's what I like about homebrew. The game can change dynamically and only I know the better ;)

Added a map of the current region you are in to the campaign tab (I made it in AutoREALM, and it turned out pretty close to what I have on graph paper. But it's still shoddy looking :P). It is by no means comprehensive, there is a group of islands off the coast of Brannum that I have yet to add and much, much more to the world of Vesaria than one continent and a couple islands. I may work on the map more if the campaign requires it, but that should be enough to give you an idea of where you are and where you are headed.

Not really, I hadn't thought that out. It may be too sloppy to accomodate a scale. Much like the actual map it's based on (which is kinda smooshed on one page of graph paper), its primary purpose is to let you know where stuff is.

I fully intended for the crew to be bunch of throwaway NPCs, but I'm glad I got to flesh them out a bit.

Hopefully Aurelia has some time to post tomorrow.
