"She'll be back," Juhi says. She understood what happened to her own parents, but Celine probably wouldn't so she says nothing more.

Celine looks back out the window one more time before climbing down from the couch. Going to Juhi she puts her little arms around her and tilts her head up slightly to look into her face, "Okay Juhi....hold you?" She asks as she points to some books on the floor, "Story?"

Juhi nods and picks up a book. She starts reading Celine a story about three bears going on a picnic.

"I don't think the students take me seriously. There's one in particular that's a bit combative."

"And how do you respond to this student?"

"You do need to eat something beloved. I know the smells have been getting to you, but even if it is something light or simple." Kāma says gently rubbing Elena's back.

"I try to remain calm, but he's so infuriating. Today as a matter of fact, I cast a minor spell in his face to try and make a point."

*thumps up* Honesty is very important. You can do this Elsa.

Elena sighs. "Yeah, I know."

"That doesn't sound like staying calm, Elsa," Michael says. "These children aren't being trained to be adventurers. They are here to learn how to harness their gifts. It's the nature of children to test the boundaries of authority and, by becoming flustered, you give them power over you. Discipline is out of the question, unfortunately. You must learn to keep on with your lesson despite what they may do. If they cannot faze you, then they will learn to respect you. Speaking of which...Niels informed me that your class left early."

I'm sorry...but he makes a very good point.

"The bell rang to let class out early. Unless that wasn't the bell." Elsa responded curiously. "About the lessons, I'm not sure what else to do at this point. They've already for the most part got a handle on their gifts."

Ummmm....weren't u the one giving them a lesson about "cantrips"? Hmmmm....I really really am New at this whole spellcasting thing too....but isn't 'ghost sound' one of those thingies? Just....thinkin'....bell....ghost sound....cantrip?

"No, the bell didn't ring early," Michael says.

A look crossed Elsa's face as she realized something. "Why those little......." She took a deep breath, "Maybe I shouldn't be teaching."

That magnificent bastard.

Michael gives Elsa a small smile. "How about you take tomorrow off and think about it? These children are ready to learn less esoteric subjects such as mathematics, literature and geography. If teaching those things interests you, then let me know."

"I went light on the spices," Asha says. "Hopefully, it won't upset your stomach."

"We'll see how it goes."

Celine laughs and claps her hands throughout the story, acting out some parts with Juhi and using her teddy she growls and makes other animal noises as well in between fits of laughter and giggles.

Rajni nods as she finishes chopping all the vegetables up and tossing them into where they needed to go, "It's alright Sis, as long as you're getting enough nourishment. Just take it slow and try things in small amounts. As long as you and the baby are okay, we're good with that. Right mama? Is there anything else I can help with, or need to do?"

"That's all for now. It needs to simmer a bit," Asha replies.

Nodding she turns down the fire under the pot and sets the lid on it while leaving it slightly askew so that steam would be allowed to escape and it wouldn't boil over, "There ya go mama." She says before going to the sink to wash her hands and getting a cloth to clean up where she was chopping.

Elsa was embarrassed. How could she miss that? Maybe she was better off not teaching. "Alright, perhaps I need the time off. I'll see you after tomorrow."

Standing, she quietly left.

"Thank you, Rajni," Asha says.

As Elsa departs the school, she sees a handsome man in crimson robes walking toward her, flanked by several attractive women. He stops in front of the sorceress. "Excusez moi mademoiselle. Is this Monsieur Andimus' school?"

She nods, "Of course mother. Thank you for letting me help so I can start learning how to do things in the kitchen. I should probably go check on the girls."

Celine crawls into Juhi's lap to look at the pictures in the book as Juhi reads to her.

"I think I'll wash up before we eat," Elena says.

Rajni enters the other room and smiles when she sees Celine sitting in Juhi's lap as Juhi reads a book to her. Looking over at Juhi she asks, "Everything going okay in here? Mama said it would be a little while before lunch was ready. I just thought I'd check on you and see what was going on."

"I'm just reading to Celine," Juhi replies.

She nods, "Okay, but when you get done with your book make sure you both wash up for lunch. Let me know if you want me to take her from you okay? You don't have to watch her the whole time if you don't want to. I can help if you get tired." She says as she goes to the where the girls sit on the floor and gives them a smile.

Thinking that she was about to be take away from Juhi in the middle of their story she wraps her arms around the girls neck and hides her face in her chest, "NO....want Juhi, no go. Pwease...I be good."

She looks kind of surprised at Celine's outburst and tries to comfort her, "Celine....I'm not taking you away from Juhi. It's okay, you're a good girl and you can stay with Juhi okay? It's alright Celine, everything is alright." She wasn't really sure how to react to the little girls outburst. Maybe she was just tired of being shuffled between people or something like that. Standing up she looks at Juhi, "Just let me know if you need anything, I'll just be over there on the couch." Going to the couch she picks up the book she had been reading earlier and sits down with it where she can keep an eye on the girls.

Juhi nods and keeps reading, unfazed by Celine's outburst.

Elsa felt a slight stir within her, Well isn't he a peacock. She thought.

"Yes it is. And whom might you be?"

"Stéphane Decaudin," the man answers in a heavy Valanian accent, gingerly seizing Elsa's hand and planting a tender kiss upon it. "Enchanté. Perhaps you could grace me with your name and a drink. Once my business with Monsieur Andimus is concluded, of course."

"A good idea," Kāma says with a nod. "I should as well, unless you need anything." she asks Asha.

Asha shakes her head. "It's pretty much done at this point. All we need to do is wait. I need to go see how Priya is doing with your dresses."

"Alrhight, we'll be upstairs." Kāma says with a smile, feeling a flutter of excitement at the mention of their dresses.

Elena takes Kāma's hand as they go upstairs. "I can't believe the dresses are almost done."

"I know jussst a little bit longer" Kāma says beaming.

Against her will, there was a slight shiver up her spine, and a familiar itch resurfaced. Unable to help herself, "Okay." She said with a nervous tremor in her voice. What the hells is wrong with me? I'm acting like these other girls.

Awwwww....that's so sweet. See....you really do have a heart. LOL

Stéphane gives Elsa a radiant smile. "Bien, where would you like to meet? I shouldn't be more than ten minutes."

"I can wait," She responded reflexively. What is happening to me?

Stéphane lets out a mischievous chuckle. "Even better. I shall return, mon cher."

He dismissively waves away the other women as he heads into the school. They women let out a collective sigh and go on their way.

Elsa waited outside the school with her thoughts. What in the Hells is wrong with me? How did he even..? Who does he think he is? I'll give him a piece of my mind when he comes back out here. The Half-Elf crossed her arms ready to let this Peacock have it.

You'll give him a piece of something :P
