Konstantyná nods. "Well said, Laenid."

She smiles and nods, "Yep, she's right. We're all in this together, nothing else matters."

Gashka gives him the gold and starts putting everything in her bag, "Thank you so much Mr. Halfpocket, I'm sure we'll be seeing you again later. Have a nice day."

After getting everything in her bag, and bidding the business man farewell, she leads them to Barclay's home and office while pointing out all the shops, the park, aznd other places if interest along the way.

Getting to his door she knocks.

Barclay opens the door. "Good morning."

He smiles at Gashka's family. "Welcome to Valwick."

"Thank you," Thrainn responds.

Gashka introduces her family, "Would it be alright if we came in? We've been running all over town all morning and I needed to ask you a question too...you know...about the mines?"

"Of course," Barclay says, leading the way into his office.

She follows him inside with her family, "You could probably talk to Sir Barclay about employment Papa, he might know who in the town is looking for someone with carpentry or hunting and skinning skills."

"I'll ask," Thrainn says, following after the old paladin. "As long as it's not as a soldier or something like that."

She shakes her head, "Don't worry Papa, there are plenty of things in this town to do other than that."

Hadrinn approaches the Summoners' table with a jug of juice, a carafe of water and a pot of coffee. "I figure I'd bring a variety of drinks rather than wait for you all to decide on what you wanted to drink."

"Great, I'll have some juice and water please."

"I have some eggs, biscuits, ham, oatmeal and fruit," Hadrinn says, passing out tankards and setting the drinks on the table. "Help yourselves."

"Might as well just bring out eight peoples' worth of food," Toni laughs. "Might be easier than waiting for orders."

She nods, "Yeah, everything sounds good...but I think I'll pass on the oatmeal." She takes two tankards and fills one with juice and one with water.

"I'll bring a bit of everything then," Hadrinn says.

She gives him a smile, "Thanks, we'll make sure not to waste it. It's sooo tasty." She says, feeling a little giddy about the possibility of a trip and adventure.

Barclay gestures for everyone to sit. "So what did you need?"

Laenid smiles at Jin's enthusiasm. "So, Toni...what are we going to do?"

Toni sighs. "I think we should just go ahead and go. There are plenty of skilled people who can defend this town, if necessary, but we are the only ones who can save the last Summoner. If we focus on what's going on here, we might lose our chance to unite the Houses."

She nods, "I think so too. Uniting the summoners is more important than getting distracted by things that are going on here and in the end will help us protect you and this town better from whoever is trying to find you. Plus, once we're all together we can see about dealing with that Blackcrown thing and that might deal with the issue anyways." She thinks for a moment, "Does that make sense? I'm pretty hungry so it's hard for me to think clearly sometimes."

Gashka takes a seat and waits for her family to sit before looking at her Papa, "You go ahead first Papa. We just wanted to stop by so I could introduce you to my family and so my Papa could talk you about possible employment...like if you know anyone looking for help." She closes her mouth for a minute, "Sorry...you can tell him Papa, about the farm, your hunting and skinning skills, and your carpentry abilities." She says before getting quiet, it was obvious that she had a lot of pride in her heart for her Papa, and her family in general.

"You make perfect sense," Laenid says, giving Jin a reassuring smile.

The tankard of juice she picks up doesn't quiet hide the blush that spreads across her cheeks, "Thanks Laenid."

"I'm not much of a fighter," Thrainn starts. "I can farm a bit, though Kealey has a better green thumb than I do."

He laughs at the inadvertent joke. "I'm pretty good at hunting, skinning and putting together houses and furniture. I'd like to keep doing something along those lines."

Konstantyná notes the familiarity between Jin and Laenid and smiles to herself.

"Anyway, even though I'm the Szef, this isn't a decision to be made by myself," Toni says, as they wait for food. "I know you're in agreement, Jin. How do the rest of you feel?"

"I have nothing against this town, but my loyalty to the Houses comes first," Gyrthr says. "I say we handle our business first."

Svanna nods in agreement with her husband.

"I'm with Jin on this one," Laenid says. "We should be at our best before dealing with other enemies."

"Yes," Konstantyná says. "Blackcrown has been in the hands of our enemies for far too long. It'll help the other heroes in their endeavors if we're at our full strength and dealing with some of these outlying problems."

Malyoxa waves her hand. "I'm not going to give one of these inspirational talks. The sooner we take Blackcrown back, the better."

"Unless you have any objections, Hitome, it seems we're all in agreement," Toni says.

"Not at all." Hitome says with a nod. "Objections I mean. I agree."

Anyka takes in her surroundings, quietly mulling over her thoughts as they get Gashka's family set up. It was good to see basic mundane things being taken care of, but she'd be lying if she said that a part of her wasn't eager to get to work heading into the mines to deal with whatever trouble lay ahead.

"That settles that," Toni says, as Hadrinn and Nyder approach with several trays. "Just in time too."

Jin's eyes get a little large as she watches the trays of food approaching.

"Well I still need to do my meditation and prepare my magic for the day, now is probably as good a time as after our bath." Vishanti replies.

She smiles and gives her love a kiss, "Okay, that sounds like a good idea. You go ahead and do that, and I'll just check our supplies, and make sure we have everything we need."

Having performed late the previous night, Kāma awakens to find Elena already out of bed. Slipping on a robe, the hijra heads out to the kitchen.

"Honestly, I'd suggest talking to Mr. Meacham, Rajni at the tailor shop, or Farber, our tanner," Barclay says. "Rajni hunts simply for the sake of the town, not for pay. But I'm sure Meacham or Farber would appreciate some extra help. You can find Farber's shop next to the fort."

Thrainn nods. "Alright."

"And I'm fine just taking care of the house for now," Kealey says.

"Good morning, Kama," Juhi says as the hijra walks into the kitchen.

Hadrinn sets out the large bowls of food, while Nyder puts out the plates, bowls and silverware for everyone. "If you need more, just let me know."

"Thank you, Hadrinn," Toni says. "This looks like more than enough, but I'll let you know."

Handing the map of the town that Rajni made for them to her Papa she says, "I'm sure you can find it Papa after we get your groceries and get your furniture taken to your new house. After we pick up the groceries, we can take them to the house, and then I can see if Derika can help us take the furniture back to the house. Then we can do what we need to do in the mines while you talk to some of these people in town and find out where you'd like to work." She says, thinking out loud again.

Jin nods, "Oh yes...this will do nicely."

Laenid chuckles again. "It all looks so good. I don't know what I want."

"That's fine," Thrainn says to Gashka.

"Okay, so then...why don't you head over to the market place to start your shopping and we'll join you just as soon as we're done talking to Barclay?" She asks innocently. "It's just...you know what kinds of things you like to eat, and it might make things a little quicker if you just go and start picking out some things and then Anyka and I can join you over there to pay for it and bag it up. Make sure you pick out enough stuff to last you at least for a few weeks until things are a little better settled okay?"

Jin doesn't waste any time helping herself to a large scoop of eggs, a biscuit, a couple pieces of ham and a decent serving of fruit, forgoing the oatmeal for the moment. Opening her biscuit she slathers it butter and honey before taking a bite and humming softly at the warm sweet goodness of it.
