Made a slight tweak to the campaign info tab. Now Character names familiar to you are bold, and those not from the book are in blue. ... I may be overdoing it a bit...

Glad to know it's appreciated, but I was talking about how many NPC's I've created vs how many the book has given. I suppose technically I could add Barzillai and Nox. This is my way of making Kintargo worth fighting for, though. You know people here. This isn't a map someone drew, or even a nondescript town like any other. If Thrune wins, what's gonna happen to Trazil or Harris or Scrap? What about all these people in your backgrounds? That tends to drive strong characters imo.

Also, side quests are nice during the draggy parts of the AP. I just started reading book 2 and man does it start slow.

Oh yes I defiantly agree. I did the same with Sepents skull because the base NPCs where SOOOOO BOOOORING. I had to spice them up. Even made the captain more likeable so when he betrays the group it's more wrenching then just when some jerk does. Or when they confront said captain it's more awful that he was a nice guy and is now basically a thrall, it's better story telling in the end.

I wasn't getting notifications. I am now. And I finished my first run quickly, minus some cleanup, precisely so it wouldn't be a distraction. ^_^

I'll wait to post until I see where the dogs actually are after their surprise round. I mean I know butter cup is gonna be in the same spot and bubbles is biting Amara, but still good to wait until I know exactly where I'm need to aim and such.

Also this is a suggestion, but in the future to save time, I'd be okay with GMSpaceduck rolling initiative for everyone so that we don't need a round of posting for just a die roll.

oh my god that sounds Awsome. I could actuall7 start the game as a silly as hell whip trip fighter, tripping people from 15 feat away! (it literally takes like 12 feats before the class can even work properly.)

Also Septima will post tonight probably. She has been swamped with work it's probably has not even realized combat has advanced, gonna remind her now while I'm waiting in the DMV

Story Time: When I was in Carrion Crown, the Hunter had a megasloth for an animal companion. Somehow the stats changed to where it had enough intelligence to barely understand Common. The GM decided it could speak in one word or very simple sentences. Thus was born, Seth, the talking sloth. He addressed my drunk Pirate character as "Rum" and the noisy Paladin as "Oaf". We even had a set of custom noble clothes made for him and he hobbled around on two legs saying "Fancy". When He, the paladin, and the Magus died, we brought back the paladin and the sloth. Screw the magus we couldn't afford another spell and dammit we loved that sloth.

That's great. It pretty common to put an animal companion's first ability score increase into Not to at least be able to issue more complex commands, but a talking sloth is amazing. ^_^

I love it. Amara and I designed a Gnome summoner named Pai foddyhonks. She had an magical platipus that could fly, swim, and climb. She was set to ride him around and be annoying, summoning a bunch of annoying b@*~~@@# for enemies to deal with.....I really wish I was able to run her lol. She is one of two cute characters that I have made that Amara is fond of :3. (that I also have been unable to run in any actual games) Also how does a platypus fly? I imagine he flaps his tail gently and just magically hovers away, slowly and derpily.

Well first she would have to calm it down enough to get close. It seemed still wary after Amaras intimidate and was probably not wanting to be rough without more coaxing.

Fun fact: Buttercup was actually at 0hp and staggered, unable to take a full action. I had decided that whatever you assumed would be true. Had you approached her without first making diplomacy or charisma check, she would've bitten you, and had you assumed the blood on her was not hers, there would've been a mauled person in the back room. Just to give you an idea of how I tweak boring encounters sometimes. There is rarely a wrong answer if you roleplay your characters well.

Wow that's neat. I like it. See from my angle the two other dogs actually attacked so yeah, probably not take. However all the Dire corgi did was bark a lot, not exactly something worth killing over.....plus I like the Idea of having a giant bean with little legs be our party pet >v<


so I read about appraise, and normally any mundane item that isn't super rare or exotic requires a DC20 check for price. With the significance of Nobility and signets in Kintargo, I'm making Signet rings only DC15. Successful Knowledge Nobility checks will further decrease this.

Also anyone with ties to nobility may attempt to identify the crest untrained. I believe that just means Amara and Septima.

wish I misread the crap out of that. Also I find it amusing keeping tabs on the cheat codes thread you have. I mean The builds look cool but some are pretty outlandish.....though I guess that's me calling the kettle black at this stage considering Mira and I's character combo lol
