Hello Friends! I hope I have not kept you too long. I didn't want to delay any longer in putting this together, even though I still have a few tough days ahead. Please be patient, and I promise we will pick up steam down the road.
I have a small Questionnaire for you so that I can adjust my style to fit the people in my game. Just answer based on what YOUR perfect game would be.
First, What are your preferences on
Adult Language?
I don't swear that much but I may when it fits. If you have issue with it at all it will be no problem to reduce or censor myself, I just wanna ****ing know.
Graphic Content?
Sometimes combat animations get gory and bloody, and sometimes I may embellish a particularly gruesome sight too much for those not in to that sort of thing. Again just your preference. "Well, yes you said he was hanged by a noose made from his own intestines, but it couldn't have been THAT painful, right?
Sensitive (Or insensitive) Topics?
feel free to pm me if there's any line you have that I should know about. Just don't want to turn a thread into a big blow uppy argument. I personally will hunt you down for quoting Frozen.
Off Book Material?
How far from the book are you comfortable going? Are you a purist? Are you as kooky as me? I have a few fun ideas I'd like to chase with you all to make it personal. The fourth wall mime is watching you...
Second, How familiar are you with...
This Website?
Does everyone know the formatting more or less? Also, if we can agree on a formatting convention it'd be nice for my ocd. Bold for speech, italics for thoughts and spell names, etc.
Pathfinder in General?
I'm ok with helping people learn, but it'd be nice to know where we're coming from. I use all the 1st party material on d20pfsrd.com "I play Skyrim, so close enough right?"
And lastly, do we, have we, or can we play any other games together?
I don't think I recognized any of you but I can't remember that well, so lemme know if you know me or my characters haha.
We'll get rolling (pun intended) soon!

            Adult Language
Mira curses like a sailor herself when the mood strikes her, and the paizo autofilters take care of basically everything anyways.
Graphic Content
The wife and I watch Bones together, I'm ok as far as this goes.
Sensitive Topics
Don't have any that I'm aware of myself. Mira prefers ladies, if that matters to anyone.
Off Book Material?
I've never looked through the books, so I'm fine with it! It's worth noting that our Kingmaker group wound up going well outside of the books with one of the characters's child being kidnapped by the bad guys and made into an antipaladin so. YOLO-strats are the best strats.
This Website
I know how to format and all that, and bold speech/italicized thoughtws or spell names seems fine to me.
Pathfinder in General
I get most of my info from the same SRD you did, and I sort of one time accidentally won the caster-martial disparity argument for the martial while talking in allcaps with grammar that would make a five year old go 'wow that's baaaad' and simultaneously started a meme. I'm a rules lawyer to the extreme. :D
We've never played in any games before, but I wouldn't mind playing in other ones possibly! I mostly just liked the cut of your jib. :P

            Adult Language?
Septima may not, but I swear. A lot. Whatever the group is most comfortable with as a whole is the standard I'll try to keep.
Graphic Content?
Not too bothered by it, honestly. Creepypasta has desensitized my ability to be disturbed by graphic content, for the most part.
Sensitive (Or insensitive) Topics?
I have some lines I don't like to cross, but I've roleplayed long enough to know that playing with people requires me to go out of my comfort zone. As long as it's not dark for the sake of being an edge Lord, I suppose.
To be blunt, as long as you're not like one of the GMs I had years ago that was determined to have someone in the party raped by a succubus, so you could fight your own demonic offspring...I'll be good.
Off Book Material?
If it's fun, I don't care. Homebrew stuff is fine with me.
Second, How familiar are you with...
This Website?
I've had experience with forum based RP before, but I've never used this site specifically before. I know bbcode fairly well, but when I'm on my phone (like right now), I may wait until I get home to neaten the post with better formating.
Pathfinder in General?
Fairly well? I've played it for as long as Alexis so...About five years? However, I don't play it very often, so the rules have yet to stick. Luckily google and the d20srd exist.
And lastly, do we, have we, or can we play any other games together?
I've never used this forum before so...I doubt it lol. But I'd love to play more games! I have passing knowledge of other systems, but Pathfinder is really the only game I've played.

            Adult language.
I don't mind it at all, though it is a character to character thing to me. Alexis herself would only curse if extremely stressed. She otherwise tries using more, colorful and less vulgar insults.
"GODDA-....God donkey...." Or "Crapbaskets" Instead of s%@!.
Graphic content.
Two of my most liked characters by our fried the Baroness are a Grumpy inquisitor playfully nicknamed the torturer for his cold method of getting information if Intimidation doesn't work. The one of my Chaotic Evil characters who literally lives for evisceration, dehumanization, and sadistic violence. Hell he has hung someone from someone ELSE'S entrails. Needless to say as long as it isn't used just for the explicit purposes of insulting or hurting the feelings of an individual player I am good. (read Septimas post about the succubus.)
Sensitive Material.
As said above as long as they aren't used to bully a player and purely for the story then I am good lol.
Off book
I am guilty of frequently going off script in Pathfinders book out of irritation at how bland some scenes ended up. (I am looking at you serpents skull.)
Are you Familiar with the website?
Nope, I have literally just made an account on the behest of my friends here, nor am I honestly familiar with formatting though im sure I can learn quick by asking Septima. However...
Are you Familiar with pathfinder?
Yes, I have learned a lot about it and can play pretty well....In my own opinion.
Do we, have we, or can we play other games.
I can play other games but I would have to learn them since I have mostly only played Pathfinder.

            Adult Language?
Blue language has never bothered me. Sometimes, the only way to describe a person is to say that she's a F*ing C!&!.
Graphic Content?
No issues. I was once a part of a group that crucified a peasant upside down and wrote in that peasant's blood "Went to kill more people. Be back soon." whilst I was in the shop buying boots and amulets for the party. Mira remembers those fools.
Sensitive (Or insensitive) Topics?
In the context of roleplaying, I have zero boundaries.
Off Book Material?
I ran the aforementioned Kingmaker campaign. That oversized owlbear? They captured and awakened it and made it their Warden. Highlord Fluffington was a barbarian and his son Peeps was training to be a monk. Also, the kingdom (Oakenforge) had it's very own superhero by the name of Roger Stevens, better known as Captain Oakenforge. Off-book is fine by me.
Second, How familiar are you with...
This Website?
I've been around. Written a guide or two. Bold for speech, italics for thoughts/spells, bold+italic for shouting, is my standard setup.
Pathfinder in General?
I've been playing 3rd ed/3.5/Pathfinder for 17 years. Sometimes I misremember rules that have changed between versions, but I'm pretty well-versed. Mira and I may argue about rules interpretation from time to time. ^_^
And lastly, do we, have we, or can we play any other games together?
To my knowledge, we've never played together. I don't tend to use the Paizo forums for PBPs. Mostly browsing the Homebrew forums. Fully willing to play more games. ^_^

And making a window in the hellscape they were banished to after that using a magic item from the very beginning of the game and going on a magical hell tour until their contract got rewritten so they could outmaneuver everyone and be The Best Evil Team Ever(tm).

Her response? Look around the room >The room is a giant block of flat material that seems to be floating and unbreakable.
Instant window on the floor. Fall through it.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, that'll make it less awkward going forward. Make sure everyone has perused the player's guide, and put your reason for attending the protest in a spoiler in your first post plz :)

Keep them up to date! I'll sometimes roll these things for you to save time.
Here's Tikkle, as an example of a header stat block. He may make a guest appearance in the campaign as well.

In the mean time I hope to introduce you to the closest thing I'll have to a GMPC. If you like him, he'll stay with the party, though he doesn't have much to add stat or combat wise. I like to have an in character voice, but dislike GMPC's.

So let me tell you about Amara's kingmaker campaign, and how the nobles did all their planning at the local bar one of them owned and operated on the side.
This drunk NPC kept chiming in so often that he was basically an unofficial council member.
What I am saying is that this is usually okay by us.

To be precise, the drunk eventually became an official council member because, as Queen Zaniah put it, "If HE can see a problem with our plan, we need to change it."
Of course, that drunk did turn out to be Cayden Cailean in disguise, hanging out and having fun watching these thirteen(?) idiots run a kingdom more successfully than should have been possible.

Cool I'll set it up soon.
Story time!
The serial killer in my live group for this campaign found a mark to eliminate. I flavored him as a fat guy. No big. Later, the bloodrager goes a little overboard and throws a bench, killing another guy that I accidentally flavored as fat. The group picks up on this, inciting the crowd to kill another, you guessed it, fat guy. By the end of the protest the running joke was started that my party kills fat guys, sometimes on purpose but usually "dammit we killed another one"...

And Mira is already party to a dirty little secret. NOW TO SEE HOW I MANAGE TO MAKE EVERYTHING TERRIBLE. :D
--mobile support doesn't matter much to me, since I mostly do my tacticsing on a computer. It may make me slower for worktags in battle, but that's not a huge issue to me.

As I see an ability check, I am reminded of a house rule that I like. I normally use these for roleplay alone and will tell you if I'd like a roll done my way. Here are lower variance ability checks:
Ability Skill Checks - Various tasks have different amounts of variability. It makes little sense that an Arm wrestling contest could vary as much as twenty points when the average Orc is only four points stronger than the average human. However, due to various experiences, a variance that high could be justified for a wisdom check.
Variance
Physical Abilities- Physical abilities are Low Variance by default, using the Ability score (not modifier) plus a D6.
(Ex. Open Door Str check DC 16. Doc has a STR of 8, so he can't open the door. Grumpy has a STR of 18, so he can open it with relative ease. Happy has a STR of 12, so he must roll 4 or better on the d6.)
Mental Abilities - Knowing or realizing things depends on a number of factors, therefore mental checks are Medium to high variance by default, using Ability Score plus a D10.
(I like to use these in Roleplay a lot, generally setting 15 as the Wisdom DC for a normal good decision, and 10 or less as time to be really stupid. Ex, Dopey gets bored on watch and rolls a D10+ his 7Wis. Landing a 2, he decides to play a prank on Grumpy. Grumpy rolls a D10+ his 8Wis to avoid being angry. He rolls a 1 and promptly knocks Dopey the fluff out. Doc is asleep, but the Player Rolls anyway, 1d10+16. He rolls a 9, totaling 25, so the GM allows him to happen to wake up in time to witness the occurrence and react.)
Feel free to try them if you like!
