Turns out the key was to decrypt biologic data; one of the farmers was running a drug ring using a mutant strain; the specific complexities of the necessary genetic tweaks were on his computer, but he'd encrypted the only copy.
Farmer was supplying the Malthar, who were selling in all sorts of places, including the refugee fleet you're a part of. Without the key, he can't supply the Malthar, the Malthar get pissed, show up to threaten AgroCorp, at which point you kick their ass.
Garlus croaks of massive organ failure (a condition he had at the beginning of the adventure), but managed to pay the crew before his death.
Captain and the crew decide drugs are bad, bust the key so no more drugs can be made, and head back to the fleet with the enemy ship in tow as salvage.
2000 CR, level up to 4th.

I'm considering a level of soldier. Blitz or Wrathful Warrior could be quite fun. Does starfinder have retraining? I took Heavy Armor Prof but soldier also grants heavy armor. Wouldn't want to waste a tasty feat.

Okay there's a 500 credits item for retraining, so I'll do that to retrain feat from Heavy Amor Prof and take a level of Blitz Soldier. Do you guys think Coordinated Shot would be a good feat for this team?
I'm going to buy Speed Suspension, so Alzura's speed will go from 20 in armor to 40. Bery helpful.

How's this for a house rule: 10% of items found, but 50% re-selling your own gear. That way you can "trade up" at a more reasonable value but you guys won't get filthy rich pilfering every little blaster you find sitting around somewhere. Also you're always free to try and affect that rate with a Diplomacy check for haggling, but a low roll could actually end up getting you less money.

Selling value sounds good, with 50% if it's something we've purchased.
If it's unbalanced, can just do 20% or even leave it at 10%. Either way, just needed to get my math right.
Not being ungrateful, your rather generous. Also, keeping items Max Level same level (as characters) or character level +1 helps reign in any crazy.

I use HeroLab (classic/local)... not sure what you are using.
For upgrades, I just leveled up my armor. Have to update Paizo sheet... but the link is accurate.

Burlap has an automatic weapon. It can spray bullets in a cone. So, right now Clarissa and Alzura are in my direct line of fire. Cherry and Vael may also get hurt as they are close to the business end of the bullet hose. :)
If we want to go free-for-all on battles, that’s fine. I’ll simply adjust my tactics to ‘Rambo-mode’. I’m gonna post my action based on the map staying pretty close to what it is now.

For Clarissa, I was going to have her duck under the profile of the truck, out of your line of fire, for all intents and purposes. What Alzura does is up to the player. If you'd like to retcon your action based on that knowledge, I'll allow it. Basically Burlap shouts "Get down!" and waits for them to move.

Not today. Sometimes when I have issues in Chrome I can log in with Edge (or Firefox, if in Linux) just fine. But today has worked pretty well from my end.
