meh, if she wants to, technically there is a 5% chance that she'll blow it. But it isn't critical.

It is a shame that GMV isn't freely available right now. Though I'm curious if we should do buff stuff this early or roll for initiative.

That is, assuming there is time for any buffs. And that this thing is hostile.

Sorry I haven't been posting. Being sick takes it out of me. Once I recover it just takes all desire to do anything else other than just laze around.

I was listening in on a different virtual game and it suddenly rekindled the desire to play again. Game on!

woohoo! I had no PC all weekend, so I'm sharing time at work until it gets fixed.

Good to see you're back, GMV.

Sorry to hear about the computer issues, Fnord. Hope it gets resolved soon, I'm anxious to see what'll happen next.

Can anyone bring the USO to the surface, or should I just have Jacob use Reverse Gravity to do away with the sand?

SO, how bad does this current plan seem? I feel like Jacob would be pretty shaken by the beast's attack, so that's why he's trying to assault it now. Still, seems like he may be taking the charge of bravery a bit too far...

You did note how Nagato fared on the small one?

And that one was a third the size of this one.

Oh, I thought it was all one monster.

Well then.

Not sure what I aught to do with that revelation/realization. Anybody wants to help out?

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I have a new job that has me working early mornings at 4am and it leaves me exhausted when I get home. I will try to get something up soon.

I know what you mean, GMV. I've got a similar position I was put into recently. Just glad to hear you're still interesting.

Ever get that feeling that you should have noticed something right in front of you?

Kinda like opening the fridge and not finding the can of soda, that's in front of everything else, and you probably moved it to the side to look behind it.

More and more, recently. I've been panicking a lot about how I couldn't find my car keys while I've been driving.

Okay, two suns. A cracked up mesa. And plans of divination. We've got plenty to work with at the moment, at least.

My apologies!

We had one of our foster kids displaced and that created quite a bit of havoc for us.

Onward ho!

I wonder if we can change ownership every time the GM changes. I wanted to post some info on the campaign page, but it hasn't been opened by tumblr and he is MIA.

So, here's a friendly recap.

After years of relative quiet, the current party plus a few friends just happened, purely by coincidence, end up in a position to deal with an awakened spawn of rovagug. The battle was surprisingly short. Building a cage actually took longer, but was completed, and the spawn Storm has been secured.

Recovering after that confrontation, the heroes received various messages of interests that all pointed to the deep desert of Rahadoum.

Shortly thereafter, the heroes were summoned to a convocation of heralds. A general theme of the attendees was that for the most part their gods preferred an orderly universe. The convocation discussed unknown assailants wrecking havoc on a planar scale, including the destruction of several planets. This disruption likely caused the awakening of Storm and it is feared that it may awaken and free Rovagug as well.

Each of the heroes was asked to undertake a quest to determine what was occurring. The heroes were each provided a token that imbued them with new abilities handed down from their gods.

Recognizing the significance that each of them had received a request for aid that was in Rahadoum, the heroes made their separate ways to Manaket.

They discovered that some conjuration and divination spells were being blocked and that a sandstorm of epic proportions was burying an empty Manaket.

Pushing through the storm the heroes discovered that the desert holds some unknown type of creature that can burrow through sand as readily as a fish swims through water. These creatures are of great size, large enough to potentially swallow entire buildings. The heroes have recently realized that the sandstorm was likely the border of two planes crossing into each other. It may be that whatever is affecting the planes has something to do with this event.

It is likely that the people they were sent to aid are either back on their own plane, behind the planar boundary, or they may have wandered into this plane and are lost.

While the over-riding quest is to find out who or what is behind the chaos, finding the lost expeditions is also personally important.

Any questions?

Not really any questions here, just curious what we should do from here.

I agree. The lack of divination and thus direction has left me confused.

sorry, been a rough couple weeks, I should be able to get some directions up soon, build a sign post, arrow in the sand...

:)

Thanks for hanging out!

Hey, I've been plenty interested. Just the scarcity in directions and posts have made it a bit frustrating. I look forward to what's in store, though!

Sorry, work has been killing me, with my studying.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I am still here. I have been extremely worn out due to the events of the last few months. My job has me working at 4am, and my employment is now fluctuating. I hope to have a full-time job worked out here in the next week or so. In addition, I will be moving in a month and a half.

I am still interested in playing, and if everyone is still up for it I will get things settled so I can get back into our campaign here.

Thoughts?

I'm here as well. Passed my SPHR exam last Thursday!

Give me a few days to get back in the swing and remember where my notes are and I'll see about handing out some direction and guidance.

Roll call and head count?

I'd like to see about getting this back up and running.

I'm in. Would we be picking up from where we left off?

Female Samsaran Monk (Qinggong MoMS) 2/Druid (Menhir Savant) 23/Hierophant-Champion 1

Present.

With the long hiatus, I'd like to do a few posts on recapping where we are, and what the party is hunting for.

One thing I am learning about running pbp's is that I need to be very clear about clues and hints than I would in a table top where the recall time is measured in minutes instead of weeks.

Probably need to make note of hints and clues on the campaign page along with group goals.

If the party isn't too happy with where we left off, I can short cut it and let someone else take the reigns.

Here. I am interested in where we left off.

I am in the process of setting up a new game tab for us. I've been mining the old stuff on this site to provide a player/DM friendly campaign page and I'm hoping to get enough in there to get us off the ground soon. It's great to know that we still have a solid core that wants to continue in the game.

If any of you have the time and inclination.

Feel free to go through the old game play posts and make a post for your own character that has any pertinent history for our current quest. Such as, notable NPC's the tie-in used to bring you to the desert, your mythic talisman, etc.

I'm working on updating the character requirement and some of the world history information.

Once I have the discussion and gameplay threads activated I'll drop a post here and get your individual posts incorporated as well.

I will be going through and making a post for the current quest. It will be a few days as I am starting a new job. I have not forgotten about the game. Just will take a bit of time.
