Hello everyone, glad to play with you all in this laid back, totally not scary adventure!

Merasmos is an Arcane Witchwarper. He gets to Recall Knowledge or Seek while Sustaining or using an action with the Anchoring trait on creatures within his 20 foot burst. Said burst comes out as a free action as part of initiative and only goes away at the end of my next turn, if I don't Sustain or use an action with the Anchoring trait. There are some other things it can do too but those may or may not come up later.

I also have the ability to automatically recognise any Common spell cast by a creature within my quantum field and provide a +1 circumstance bonus to AC or Saves against said spell. Would the GM be willing to pause mid-creature turn so I can react?

Friendly fire is ok so long as he's not near death or dying.

Hello, everyone! Thank you for joining this game. I posted the links to the Sign-Up Sheet, Macros, and Slides above for you to fill out before the start of the game.

1. Sign up on the Sign-Up Sheet (linked above) and provide Player Name, Character Name, Organized Play Number, Character Number, etc. We'll use the RPG Chronicles website for this.

2. Fill in your character and minion tokens, and marching order on page 2 of Slides and Maps (linked above). Also, update your character’s basic information, core stats, and skill modifiers on Macros (linked above).

3. Ensure your character's stat block/header includes HP, AC, Saving Throws (Fortitude, Reflex, Will), Perception bonus, and Speed.

4. Area templates (burst, cone, emanation, line) are on pages 3-7 of the Slides and can be copied to the Encounter Map.

5. Post regularly, preferably at least once daily and once on weekends. Follow the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards: "Explore, Report, Cooperate." Non-consensual character conflict is prohibited and can result in Infamy points.

6. I will roll initiative checks and use a block initiative system. PCs in the active block can post their actions, resolved in posting order. I will roll secret checks; players roll saving throws.

7. Use these symbols in combat posts: ◆ for single action, ◆◆ for two actions, ◆◆◆ for three actions, ↺ for reaction, ◇ for free action.

8. We’ll use the X-Card for safety. If something makes you uncomfortable, include '[X-Card]' in your post or message me privately.

9. Regular posting keeps the game flowing. Kindly inform us of any absences. Provide botting instructions if you'll be away.

10. Remember, the goal is to have fun! :)

If you're looking for the PDF on the Paizo website, then here is the link. The rules for 2E aren't on Archives of Nethys yet.

https://2e.aonsrd.com/ is where the core rules are. You can use all options that come from the Player Core.

I don't know if you've chosen a class yet, but we do need a combat healer. Anything with battle medicine, divine, occult or primal magic would work. So a Through Hard Times Envoy, a Mystic or Gap Influenced/Precog Witchwarper.

Seeing our team composition, I re-arranged my token so that I'm in taking point ... though I'm more than happy if the soldier wants to move up in front of our single-file order. I just didn't think the mystic in front made sense.

Want to confirm on Merasmos' quantum field, because I'm not 100% sure how witchwarpers work ... but the difficult terrain only affects the movement of the enemies, right? Merasmos can exempt us from it?

I think the difficult terrain of Merasmos' quantum field only affects enemies, not sure.

The warp reality ability that triggers the quantum fields says
" Choose whether any given creature in the area is affected by your quantum field when you Warp Reality, each time you Sustain it, and when a creature enters your quantum field."

Reminder to the Witchwarpers: You get to use Quantum Pulse as a free action to Warp Reality when initiative is rolled. It will save you having to use an action later to Warp Reality to have the field up somewhere vaguely useful now. (And you can always move it later by using a Sustain action if you need to.)

Merasmos, I think the bursts are the ones on slide 3. It looks like you grabbed the 20-foot emanation from large creatures from slide 6. The quantum field is big ... but not that big.

Chk Chk - I think you were at full, took 6 from the breacher and then 10 from the acid ... so you would still be at 2 HP, wouldn't you? (And a full Vitality Pool.)

Thanks I see what hapened I didn't realise the first 6 damges was lreadin the round tracker and added it again when I did my save. so I'm ad 2 hp before I will heal my slef.

I am playing Chk Chk in another game, and don't forget his cool harmony (particularly given his decent Stealth).

No, that is the harmony. It's a side effect that happens anytime you use Transfer Vitality on someone (including yourself), not a separate action.
