Yay, I might not have to DM! :P
I need to remove the advanced template and spend the rest of my gold. I still don't know what to spend it on. Wonder if I could replicate the effects of the advanced template with my remaining 678,000 GP?
Edit: Uhp, there we go. +4 tomes for all stats, 660,000 GP. Perfect. Now all I have to do to remove the template is lower my natural armor by 2 and I only have 18,000 GP left to get rid of. It's like getting two birds stoned at once :P (a cookie for anyone who gets that reference)
Edit edit:Can someone double check the math on my flurry of blows attack boni? Sjulda has a BAB of 11, meaning three attacks normally. As a second level monk her flurry should give her one extra at -1 to all attacks right?

Grand Moff Vixen |

I should have made the distinction, I am still hammering out the details on the background.

I believe so. I checked the monk table and that is in line with what it says there.

What should I name the campaign? Anything that is descriptive of what the game is about or a title based on the power level is what I feel it should be.
And this is just until Herald thinks up a name.
Herald, when you are ready just PM me the details you want for the campaign and I will add
the info to the campaign tab.

Well, if we're still going with a 'green lantern' esque theme for a high level organization we're all members of, and our most recent group task is the infiltration and participation in a dangerous and prestigious tournament that is rumored to hide a nefarious secret, perhaps we should discuss a potential group name that we'd be known by. Either something simply epic in nature, descriptive of our goals or demeanor, and/or Golarion specific.
Then we could name the game "Masters of the Universe in the Ruby Phoenix" or "Defenders of Golarion take on Mortal Kombat" or something like that.
(while the above examples are intentionally tinged with humor, they still make good examples of how we might want to name the game... but perhaps without the RL/pop references)
EDIT: oh, and the reference/quote above from skulda is from the TV show Trailer Park Boys as a humorous and intentional mis-quote of "killing two birds with one stone".
EDIT AGAIN: an alternative source: Two Birds Stoned At Once

I'm still going with the demiplane and philanthropist founder of the Odysseus Foundation.
That's fine. The idea sounds pretty neat.

For my background, I am going for a residence in Absalom with connections to the Arcanamirium and Pathfinder Society. She is a member (associate) of the Arcanamirium and when not traveling she frequently spends time there.
She is well known as a powerful sorcerer who values goodness and freedom.

YaarrrryyyyyYEAH! *squeee* COOKIE!!!

^_^
*ahem*
Personally, I've always liked the name Odysseus (even had a character named that way back when. I know a guy who named his cat that as well, which I thought was awesome).
In Golarion lore - with regards to ancient myths in Tian Xia and the isle of Minata - there is mention of a now extinct people called "The Taumata", who were once the guardians of an ancient land-bridge that connected the southern parts of Tian Xia to the rest of the world (since destroyed and is now reduced to the isles of Minata). Perhaps we, as an organization of protection and intergalactic guardians have taken on the ancient title again?
(I'm just throwing out random ideas for the purpose of brainstorming. I'm cool with Odysseus as an organization name as well)

What about "Taumata" then? It is the name of an ancient people from Tian Xia (Golarion) known for, in their time, being guardians and protectors (though who also fell from grace and were punished by the gods, or so the story goes)...
Something closer to the Inner Sea region may be borrowed from the Starstone, like the "Stone Wardens", or the "Seekers of the Star's Favor".
Or, like "The Green Lantern's", we could borrow from an artifact of power from Thuvia/Garund, the Sun Orchid Elixir, and be an organization named for it's similarities or even relation to that artifact, being mortals on the cusp of immortality who use their powers to help and protect (and maybe even are tasked with protecting the elixir itself from those who would abuse it's power)... perhaps something like "The Golden Orchid's" or "Light of Eternity's Drink" or something.
...as for character connections and Factions within the game world, Sir Orrin is most notably affiliated with the Eagle Knights of Andoran as one of the Steel Falcons. He has gained some prestige with the Mendevian Crusaders, having fought at their side for many great battles against the hoards of the Worldwound. Interplanarly, he also has strong ties to the Purple Dragon Knights of Cormyr on the world of Toril, but this fact is barely known by any of the regular folk on Golarion, and only a rumor among the more powerful. He despises Cheliax, and allies with the Bellflower Network whenever their paths cross, but he knows that he is often to headstrong to join it's ranks as an active member, and respects "The Farmer's" methods for freeing the halfling slaves of Chelaxian tyranny.

For the background I am looking at something like this:
Lady Katja is an Ancient Silver Dragon. She is well known as a powerful human sorcerer. She maintains good relations with the Pathfinder Society and she is an member (title: associate) of the Arcanamirium and spends time there frequently. While they do not know she is a true dragon they do recognize her as a powerful sorcerer. Only the Archdean Lady Darchana knows who Katja really is and carefully guards this secret.
Katja primarily travels the world to explore and learn. As she travels she stands up for those who cannot and fights evil and corruption when she finds it. Laws mean less to her than good deeds and taking no actions that bring undeserved harm to other beings.
I haven't come up with anything else just yet but this is what I thought of after I read the faction guide. I have placed her residence in Absalom. Seemed like the best place for such a character.
Once thing I think I will do as I progress on the backstory is keep it relevant to who she is and accomplishments that are noteworthy. 850 years is a long background to do and that would take me a long time if I did all that time up. Plus as I work with Monkeygod that will hammer out more details that I haven't thought up yet.

of course, anyone that wanted to go in on part of the demiplane could have access to a gate as well, you can make quite a shipping network...
I will go in on the demiplane with you. While she doesn't really have an organization she uses the gates to get around quickly.
On second thought I think I will develop an organization dedicated to getting information. That feels just what I am looking for.

Doesn't that seem a bit much like overkill, though? How expensive could scrolls of Greater Teleport be?

** spoiler omitted **
Why is it overkill? Redundancy is good. And besides, she has both teleport spells. Dragons are steeped in magic and she is no exception.

I'm checking out ultimate campaign, I might use it as a basis to develop my network.
I spent the money for the first five demiplane sections.
First section, the one with the doors, is dead magic. The next 3 are the main concourse and have warehousing and residential areas. Anyone else hooking up can connect to the dead magic entry zone or the main concourse.
Each 23k gives you upto 18 10' cubes. Have fun with your layout.
I initially posted my businesses as import/export as ace said he wanted the magic shops. If he isn't going that route, then at least one of my places will be Ye Olde Magik Shoppe.
Needless to say that nearly all my followers will effectively be employees of these establishments.

GMV,
I plan on creating my own haven type demiplane, attempting to include as many different environments as possible.
Since our PCs are allies, I will definitely have a location set aside for her, with planar traits to her likings.
Also,
What was the ruling on Wishes? I know we could set aside funds for them, but what else was there?

Very well. I will change my investment to you. I am still working on an organization for her to run that fits who she is both racially and personality wise.

Yar!
This intricate gold headband is decorated with several small blue and deep purple gemstones. The headband grants the wearer an enhancement bonus to Intelligence of +2, +4, or +6. Treat this as a temporary ability bonus for the first 24 hours the headband is worn. A headband of vast intelligence has one skill associated with it per +2 bonus it grants. After being worn for 24 hours, the headband grants a number of skill ranks in those skills equal to the wearer's total Hit Dice. These ranks do not stack with the ranks a creature already possesses. These skills are chosen when the headband is created. If no skill is listed, the headband is assumed to grant skill ranks in randomly determined Knowledge skills.
It doesn't mention anything about whether of not they gain class bonuses of not. It also does not mention anything about the granted ranks being "true" or not. but it is explicit about the fact that it "grants a number of skill ranks" and that they don't replace ranks the wearer may currently have , but replaces them. These ranks simply are (while wearing the headband).
You are treated as if you have ranks in the skills the headband grants, whether you had ranks in that skill previously or not, and as such, everything that goes off of having ranks in that skill should also apply, such as not being able to use skills untrained without ranks in it (it grants ranks) and Class bonuses that require at least one rank to apply (which it grants). If it's a class skill for you, you gain it. If it's not, you don't.
The statement about a temporary bonus is referencing the enhancement bonus to your actual intelligence score, which is treated as temporary for the first 24 hours (aka, does not grant retroactive skill points or bonus languages, only increases the DCs for spells based on Int and your Int mod on various skills checks, etc). After 24 hours, they are treated as a permanent bonus (meaning that while it can go away if you take it off, it NOW grants everything that an increased Int score grants, including bonus languages and retroactive skill points). In addition (meaning regardless of if your in the 24 hour grace period or not), the headband also grants bonus skill ranks that are treated as actual skill ranks in 1, 2, or 3 pre-selected skills.
At least, that's how I read it.

RE: Int headband, to expand on pirate's response. In 3.5 it was possible to take the headband off, loose the extra ranks, then put the headband back on and reapply the ranks someplace else, effectively giving a floating bonus. This method just means the 'extra' ranks provided by the headband are preselected in a specific skill that never changes. You do get class skill bonus.
For example, int 20, boosted to 22 with a headband, 5th level. Upon creating the headband, pick a skill. You get 5 ranks in that skill (notice that the ranks is tied to level, effectively replicating the value of the bonus). Take the headband off, and the math to fix your character sheet is really easy, you loose those ranks in that skill.
Since you can't exceed HD in ranks in a skill, putting your own points in the skill doesn't do anything for you.
Re: the demiplane. I chose no magic for the first section as a safety feature. Anyone that manages to sneak into the demiplane instantly has any magic taken away from them. Once they get through 'customs' they're in the main concourse. Other players personal demi planes can be connected to either the customs zone or one of the three concourse zones.
Since we are all playing as members of an elite group, why wouldn't you want some connection between us? Each player can select the traits for their own demiplane, I listed what the main sections would have.
If Zashier is going to create a string of demiplanes, each with different climates, I personally think it would be pretty cool to have them tagged onto the end of one of the concourses.
When I think of demiplanes, I kind of think of a space station, you can make the outer skin anything you want from metal to rock to air (held by a 'force field'. Gravity can be defined, along with other traits, etc, etc.
What I'm picturing is a central transshipment zone with several gates. That zone is dead magic, it limits the amount of trouble anyone using it can get into. Above that is the entrance to the main concourse, access from a 'drawbridge'. So either having natural flight or knowing someone that lets you in is required. The concourse, being only 3 sections right now, is a curved cylinder. As I add onto it, it will be expanded into a ring. Off the ring are individual extensions for our private residential areas.

Skulda |

I don't really have any money left after reconstructing the advanced template with Tomes, but Skulda would be willing to serve as guardian of part of the demiplane structure. Maybe the entrance or main concourse. She's got pretty sharp eyes, and even without magic is relatively formidable (especially if her foes are also denied magic).
