Not very.... trust me, I'm a doctor

The stupid unnecissary insults and freaking that your acting like "HAHA I knew this would happen, of course the trained professional was wrong..." instead of "OH GOD, what an unforseen concequince of a COMPLETELY NONMAGICAL person having the supernatural ability to hold his blood inside of himself and now he is bleeding"

Zix wrote:

to zix most of you could count as children,

your ages differ by an amount less than 1% of his

which is why the fact he acts as a child instead of a mature adult is so jarring and throwing me out of character

Zix wrote:

please note my ooc comment at bottom of last post

I did put thought into these posts,
Zix has no respect for idiots, which is what he sees this medical staff member

which is why I am shaking my head at you... because you are acting as if you are a child IC instead of the HIGHLY INTELLEGENT being that your character is /SUPPOSED/ to be

Zix wrote:

:: it seems that the so called trained professional does not seem to know as much as the child or we would not be in this mess, in any case from your own admission this is not the first instance that sedating the patient caused problems, you should have inquired as to why it was that he desired to stay conscious::

I have three minds I don't need all of them to cast, also as a side note were this the real world (and by that I mean America and probably (I don't know) other 1st world countries), this guy would have lost his medical licence and probably been thrown in jail, and that's if he survives, just throwing that out there

except that the same thing is done to soldiers and CHILDREN that cannot make their own medical decisions

"he is out of the danger zone now and we can apply reconstructive nanites to graft him new skin and repair the muscle damage... he may lose some strength and agility but he will not die"

minute long casting time.
Noncombat situation... No need for anyone to care about casting time... Adon isnt bleeding out... the healer will cauterize the wounds if nessicary with a blowtorch

adon is bleeding out faster, his blood seems to speed up, not moving slowly anymore. Whatever he had did, it was preventing his blood from leaving his body.

this is after about 15 seconds.

seals wounds with fire to preserve life

"The keyword being 'Child'... countless others have all insisted that they must remain awake during operations and almost all were sedated without any ill effects. He is a child and therefore would not know as much as a trained professional. Now Quit snipping at me and my procedures and do something useful"

I replied to zix

Adon Derro wrote:

as the sleep serum is injected, blood starts to drip through his bandages, faster and faster. He falls unconscious.

He will patch those properly as well....

Adon Derro wrote:

"Maybe not that you can see, but i need to get back to eating very quickly after this, or i may starve myself."

now that he's staring you right in the eye, his eyes move slowly, and he seems to be fighting off sleep, even now.

okay... .lay back down..." he says and then he brings the point up behind your neck... "This /will/ hurt..."

and he injects you with the sleep serum anyway...

then calls for an IV drip as he removes the stone from your neck

Got to go to work

The layer is very thin. Most of the skin is already off, only a tiny bit is on the neck. You'd need the Nantes to do literally all the work on a cellular level if you want to remove it with no injury. Little injury, however, is easily possible by someone trained with a scalpel.

It was a joke... and also... How did you remove most of it from the /Back of your neck/ not exactly the easiest workspace...

*Sigh* "we are open at all hours sir... Even with yesterday's damage...please try not to self medicate yourself again..."

Adon walks into the infirmary, and looks around. His arms, the palms and the back of his hand are tightly wrapped in gauze, and his legs seem stiff as he walks. There is stone covering his neck. He sighs, and looks for the least busy staff member possible. Finding no staff member who wasn't so busy he didn't dare to ask about his problem, he sighs, and takes a seat, waiting for whenever a staff member could get to him.

I'll be getting to npc-ing a staff member into helping later, don't worry about that.

A tall skinny man in a white jacket and black framed glasses comes over, "Can I help you?"

Lyere looks at the line ahead of him, noticing the boy with glasses look at him, shyly waving to him

"heh...hi...?" he whispers before getting only greens and milk... then sitting at a table
"Hello, is the food good?" Lyere asks the boy before he sits down, looking ahead in line again at the food being served for a moment as he stands with Settro

"I-I like it... as long as no animals were hurt to provide food....."

Okay, seriously, 'any second now' isn't specific enough when talking about Ephebe.

And I don't think I could've pick a better NPC for the Teleportation Room. :)

Someone watched Arthur and the Invisibles recently

Plus Ephebe and time aren't technically linear

If two parents cast a spell each a creature can have the Half-Fiend and Half-Celestial templates together.

Fiendish Seed and Blessed Seed.
I'm considering playing a half Aasimar half Tiefling with those.
True neutral Elf
Cleric8 rogue8 / Sorcerer8 barbarian8
Really kinda stereotypical. One angel wing and a small halo, one bat wing and a horn.
Feasible?

Fiendish Seed counters and dispels Blessed Seed I thought

The demoness lash out with both whip and sword, and at first it appears she will strike down Bobby and the half-gnoll. However, the wards hold and they are safe.

The fiend is slightly taken aback, but not overly so "This will only hold me until I find away to breach the Circle."

The lime green chalk never recommended for summoning lower denizens stretches alarmingly as the strikes bounce off the barrier.

Oh thank God...." The male sighs and relaxes, slumping to the floor in relief... "we get to command it now right?

"No sacrifice? Then, you are forfeit"

The demoness flourish each hand, and a weapon appears in them one by one. A fiery whip, a dark sword that drips blood, a spear that crackles with electricity, a wicked looking axe, a spiked shield and mace covered in frost.

"ohhhh sh..." the rest of his word is gagged upon as he backs away and moves toward the door in a slow shuffle

Voice of Awesomeness wrote:

The sigils continue to glow brighter, and they begin to twist and writhe, almost like a serpent. Several of them merge together, becoming one big symbol. Suddenly, the room goes totally and oppressively dark. A pale, sickly green light starts to shine in the air above where the summoning circle was.

A terrible cracking sound breaks the utter silence that had befallen the room and a pair of hands appear on the ground, seeming to grip the edge of a hole. Then a second pair joins the first, followed by a third set. They hoist the head and shoulders of a gorgeous woman, then her ample bosom. Finally, the rest of her is revealed, and to the horror of those in the room, gone are her legs. In their place is the coiled form of a massive snake.

"Uhhhh.....this is what was s-s-supposed to h-happen right?" one of the summoners stutters as he beholds the beautiful/terrifying apparition

"You don't seem that shy, Tryko'Sam." Rena says playfully, flicking her tail towards him playfully, obviously - in the tone of her voice if nothing else - not overly concerned with his secretiveness, and enjoying his company.

"Okay, I can pretend to be like that. There are many of those kinds of people in the world, though I think I am a bit big to be a familiar." Rena says playfully, closing the gap between their walking somewhat, and taking on a more servile posture in relation to him, as if he were her master.

"I hope they don't freak out... but I can fly and they cannot. I won't leave you behind Tryko'Sam, if things... 'get ugly' as you put it, hold onto me and I will fly us away. I will not drop you, I promise. And no... not telepathic, don't worry about that, nor do I.. camoflage or turn invisible... at least not without Vare casting a spell on me."

Rena herself seems to be getting a bit excited at the prospect, though she doesn't abandon her new role as Tryko'Sam's companion/pet/familiar/etc, keeping her submissive posture, even if it's not reflected in her words.

as they enter the (edge of the... i presume) town a large, slightly fat man looks at the student and his feathery winged serpent and gasps slightly muttering "diablo" and backing up

Also: does anyone want to RP the townsfolks reactions to Rena.

I don't think they'll be nearly as bad as Rena fears, but people are going to be people.

Just because a dragon runs the factories, doesn't mean that all people suddenly become understanding.

I feel it would be self-serving for me/Damiani to roleplay their reactions.

(This is assuming that Damiani doesn't have something in particular planned)

I'll do it
