Because I am ornery and already was clear I favored cores spells, and you picked mostly non-core which made me read up on all the spells-no.

You could at least make a token effort of picking mostly core spells (or ultimate macis since that is the base book for the Magus).

You can have Ablative Barrier. No on the other non core spells.

Sorry about the spells. I don't have anything fancy like herolab to help me sift through spells ... I just pick spells from d20pfsrd.. And believe it or not that was me restraining myself.

No biggie.Though d20pfsrd does mention the source at the bottom of each spell listing (which is how I checked).

The magus spell filter page at d20pfsrd will be your friend and ally. Sort by source=CRB.

Actually (I typoed it before) Ultimate Magic is also fair game since it is the start book for the Magus.

Also Advanced Players Guide would be fair game for the witch since it is the source book.

This elven trailer park is a really small town, so variety of stuff is very limited. You would have had a better chance in Riddleport.

Pop 780. However it does have a traveling merchant who hits the big elven cities, so you can place high price orders, but they take a month.

lol ...we're getting trolled in a trailer park full of elven trolls.

ok..so effectively no wands. any armorers around here?

There's a token armorer who can turn your skymetal into armor if you wish. He can also make a bling sword to make Kronug happy between rages.

Without my ad lib, in the module, the town is more of an armed camp situated here by the elves to keep watch on a Drow city. It's not really a permanent settlement.

Noqual armor:
. Noqual armor weighs half as much as other armors of its type. For the purposes of movement and other limitations, heavy noqual armor is treated as medium armor, and medium noqual armor is treated as light armor. The armor's maximum Dexterity bonus increases by 2, and armor check penalties are reduced by 3. The armor's spell failure chance increases by 20% and applies to all magic cast while wearing the armor, regardless of the magic's source or the wearer's class abilities. The wearer of a suit of noqual armor gains a +2 resistance bonus on all saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities.

Looks like great armor for the magic hating Kronug but worthless for Sileth who can normally cast w/o spell failure as a Magus wearing medium armor, but it looks like Sileth will have a 45% chance of spell failure while wearing a Noqual Breastplate. sigh

Yeah, Noqual is crap for any caster (even screws up a Cleric or Oracle). However for the non casters, keep in mind I've changed the saving throw bonus to 'material' so it would stack with ABP bonus.

Can I retrain weapon specialization to improved grapple?

-Posted with Wayfinder

Yes, but retraining costs money of course.

You can just pick the feat up when you need it as a brawler after all (and that's even a swift for you now). IMO you always need to do damage, you don't always need to grapple.

So half weight, Maximum Dexterity bonus increases by 2, armor check penalties are reduced by 3. and a +2 material bonus on all saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities, right?

I think you are right... too bad.

As I said above 'even screws up clerics and oracles'. The spell failure chance is set by the armor type, not you (and gets +20 because of the material).

You are welcome to use it, and I will be amused to watch spells fail left and right.
