Don't forget, we're all rogues. If you hit a flat-footed opponent (such as someone who hasn't acted in combat yet), you get that +1d6 sneak damage.

Half-Orc Brawler/Rogue 15 - HP: 169/169, AC: 35/T: 20/FF: 29 +Def.Arw. - INIT: +3, Percep: +20/27 <see in dark> F: +19/R: +19/W: +18 - CMB: +22 - CMD: 40, Speed: 30ft

A note on critical hits:
As pointed out by Dwarfus, a critical hit for 1d8+4 is rolled as 2d8+8 (under normal circumstances with an x2 modifier). Sneak attack damage is treated as precision damage and not multiplied on a critical hit, so the damage would be rolled as 2d8+8+1d6.

Male Human Gestalt Rogue/Shield Fighter 3 AC: 22; touch: 12; FF: 17; Fort: +5, Ref: +2; Will: +0; CMD: 19, Init: +6, Perception: +5, HP: 38

Got it. Never scored a critical before or seen one. Appreciate it.

damn this guys gonna mow us down. Each hit is guaranteed to drop one of us. Hope we roll some good sneak damage this round.

You should be quite glad I didn't confirm or Kronug would be a grease stain.

Yes, that would have been bad. For me.

awww, Hyder could have saved him...

Half-Orc Brawler/Rogue 15 - HP: 169/169, AC: 35/T: 20/FF: 29 +Def.Arw. - INIT: +3, Percep: +20/27 <see in dark> F: +19/R: +19/W: +18 - CMB: +22 - CMD: 40, Speed: 30ft

I already think of Kronug as a grease stain.

Unnamed

I'm thinking combat trick for combat reflexes as my talent. Thoughts on that?

Half-Orc Brawler/Rogue 15 - HP: 169/169, AC: 35/T: 20/FF: 29 +Def.Arw. - INIT: +3, Percep: +20/27 <see in dark> F: +19/R: +19/W: +18 - CMB: +22 - CMD: 40, Speed: 30ft

Using combat trick at 2nd level is pretty early. I guess it depends on what you want down the line.

Note, Automatic Bonus Progression for 2nd :

Armor attunement +1, weapon attunement +1

Half-Orc Brawler/Rogue 15 - HP: 169/169, AC: 35/T: 20/FF: 29 +Def.Arw. - INIT: +3, Percep: +20/27 <see in dark> F: +19/R: +19/W: +18 - CMB: +22 - CMD: 40, Speed: 30ft

Once again, to my knowledge you cannot "aid another" on perception, so those would be made individually by each person.

No biggie, I wasn't completely sure I could so I just left it open to GM fiat: If i can, cool. If I can't, I search on my own too.

damn I just realized a rogue can only pick Combat trick once :(

I was gonna take that talent almost every time. oh well back to the drawing board

@ Sileth, I was thinking about picking up 'spellcraft' or 'use magical item' are you considering 'spellcraft'? 'Use magical item' would make more sense for Hyder, but I will add 'spellcraft' instead if you aren't going to work it in.

Male Human Gestalt Rogue/Shield Fighter 3 AC: 22; touch: 12; FF: 17; Fort: +5, Ref: +2; Will: +0; CMD: 19, Init: +6, Perception: +5, HP: 38

Another question: The Weapon Attunement affects both to hit and damage?

@Hyder I'm keeping Spellcraft maxed.... Umd being charisma based makes more sense for you than me

Nivea, HP is PFS-style, so full first and then 1/2+1+CON(+1 favored class, possibly). So since you have a d10, that's 5+1+your 2 Constitution modifier, or 8, optionally +1 from favored class for a total of 9.

The weapon attunement grants a +1 enhancement bonus, so that's to-hit and damage (and also makes it magic, bypassing DR X/magic).

Male Human Gestalt Rogue/Shield Fighter 3 AC: 22; touch: 12; FF: 17; Fort: +5, Ref: +2; Will: +0; CMD: 19, Init: +6, Perception: +5, HP: 38

Thanks again Marckus. Wow, that long sword is going to do some damage!

Marckus... you are too friendly on the internet, I may start suspecting you are a FBI undercover. I SWEAR THE BODY WAS THERE WHEN I ARRIVED!
Ejem... Kronug is up to date, having learned to react faster and even more recklessly. Curiously enough his chest's muscles have grown its own bodyguard muscles that deflect swords and s#~& away. Now with a not new but shiny Broadsword! Yay! Go grab your own Kronug The Kellid action figure now, only 14.99$ (patent pending)

anyone tracking our loots?

Nivea all leveled up. I can track the loot if you all want.

Hyder is ready, decided to go with trap spotter for my rogue talent, figured you guys could handle the combat focus stuff.

drbuzzard:

Due to a change in responsibilities at work, and my father-in-law beginning a regular extended chemotherapy, I feel I need to step away from the games I am playing in. I apologize that it will delay and alter the games. After having played In some games over a year and a half I assumed I would be able to continue the games through to their finish but real life has raised its ugly head. Thanks for running the game. Good luck and good gaming to all.

Indeed, farewell Hyder.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Of course real life comes first. Thanks for playing.

I supposed this means we need to find a replacement or we're out of healing at all.

So he is going into hiding?

Male Human Gestalt Rogue/Shield Fighter 3 AC: 22; touch: 12; FF: 17; Fort: +5, Ref: +2; Will: +0; CMD: 19, Init: +6, Perception: +5, HP: 38

Sorry to see ya go Hyder, appreciate what you brought to the game. I saw you as the leader of the group. I will be praying for your father-in-law and all your family.

So, we did have someone possibly making a cleric. Not sure if we should wait on them, but without healing things could be bad for you lot.

Let's all just rebuild to cleric.

I mean, I can wait as well.

On a trip, posting will be sporadic until Sunday evening.

Will continue tomorrow, bit tired from a lot of skiing.

So, computer is down. Thank you windows 10. Will be doing all this from a tablet for not sure how long. Just an FYI. Down but not out.

Powder? Nope, it was Taos NM. Afternoons were heaping helpings of slush. Still like the mountain though.

If you are wondering why the encounters are so nasty:
A) The module is written to give you one encounter per day (at this point). That means you can blow all your resources in a single encounter and can go full nova if needed. As written, the module still inflicts creampuff encounters 1/day which I find to be ridiculous. Obviously I changed that.
B) You being six in number and gestalt do rate a higher CR/encounter than normal. Thus I ramp things up.
C) I am a sadistic bastard.

Well, it worked with Jean. The Healer is down.

Healer down :(
That's why it's so important to have a backup healer (warpriest, paladin) to take care of the primary healer

-Posted with Wayfinder

One might also make the case for the healer not to take point.

Half-Orc Brawler/Rogue 15 - HP: 169/169, AC: 35/T: 20/FF: 29 +Def.Arw. - INIT: +3, Percep: +20/27 <see in dark> F: +19/R: +19/W: +18 - CMB: +22 - CMD: 40, Speed: 30ft
